    Coffee

Black coffee with no sugar for me so no way I can drink instant. I have one of these bad boys http://www.johnlewis.com/cuisinart-dgb900bcu-grind-and-brew/p230880816 and it's brilliant
  8. Watched "Her" this week - it was bloody brilliant I thought
  9. Annoyed that I'm in Orlando and not Miami - would have been good to get Adam to sign my Saints shirt...
  10. Only Glenn Hoddle could fix that dilemma
  11. when we get a new owner in League 1 again
  12. The worry is we lose Rickie, Adam, Luke, Dejan, Morgan and Nat / Calum. We therefore need almost an entire new back 4 and a new midfield to front spine. If that happens then it's all luck really after that..
  13. I'm having a ton on 8-1. At least then if we do go down I can afford to go to one of Artur's parties
  14. this. mugs
  15. a mate of mine was there - he saw planes. then again I do see him at our regular Bilderberg get togethers...
  16. Pont du Gard is breathtaking and well worth a visit. Near to Thur is a little village called Castlenou which has amazing views and some fantastic places to eat. The floating restaurants in Agde near Cap d'Agde are wonderful and the town is very sweet as well. Carcassonne is also mind blowing if you like your castles, and the Carcassonne sur Plage lake next door is a lovely swim and place for a picnic. If you drive down toward the Spanish border a swim in the med next to the castle at Collioure is also lovely.
  17. Can't really help on New Forest pubs - to be honest most of them seem to lack character compared to pubs around Winch and Southampton - and I did grow up there before anybody has a go. Velodrome wise - did the taster in January and it was bloody superb and I'd do it again like a shot. Riding up the wall becomes great fun but is ultimately pointless when doing the timed km which is all about sticking to the blue line. Enjoy!
  18. I think the only statement that needs to be released is "We are not going to be selling any players before the World Cup". That's it. Mainly as I'd like to see Luke Shaw - Southampton and Adam Lallana - Southampton in the line ups.
  19. probably. but then again, the championship and league one promotions were brilliant fun and football will never be what it was when I was a kid - the gap between rich in poor in the league matches the gulf in rich and poor in society and there would need to be a revolution to turn that around (e.g. for breach of the FFP regulations Man City are deducted 30 points, wage cap on players, player draft type thing or something aimed at the quality of the academy, 8 home grown players in the first team every week or you're docked points - that sort of thing). I say probably as it depends on the quality of our next generation - If Targett and Reed can replace AL and LS, and we can ship out Osvaldo and get in 2 decent attacking options for big money then we could match this year. So, not a "yes" (though that's how it feels emotionally - makes me feel sick to read the BBC news site at the moment), not a "no" as you'd be mental to think we're about to break into the top 6, but a "who the eff knows" at the moment. Btw, if MoPo goes to Spurs, would it make sense to take Sherwood in return - I think he's got something about him (something ****ing frightening ;-))

  21. "does your wife know you are here" I'll still clap him, he's my age so his retirement makes me all sentimental
  22. His goal against Wimbledon that sent the crazy gang down was special. It also won me 250 quid!
  23. Eweleaze Farm - it's superb, though also described as a middle class refugee camp due to it's wood fired pizza oven and yurts
  24. To be fair, I'm a happy clapper who hates all the negative ****s on here but I agree with that
