  1. http://newsthump.com/2016/07/09/angela-leadsom-disgusted-by-accurate-report-of-things-that-she-said/ It's pretty obvious The Times is anti-Leadsom (the "My Week by Tony Blair" piece this morning references her a lot - it is very funny tho), but you need to show a little more political nouse than this
  2. One important point to make. If Leadsome wins, Porky Penny gets a cabinet post...
  3. In addition, my local MP is going to back Brexit in parliament despite his constituency clearly being Remain. In / Out arguments aside, MPs clearly do what they ****ing want to advance their own party careers
  4. I think you're wrong but I hope you are right. Unless it leads to another European war of course that we are expected by the ruling classes to die in. **** them
  5. Ha ha - that made me laugh out loud I think we should enter it, beat the Pompey Scum, and then throw the next round
  6. I hate these summers when we seem to sell everybody but if we get 50m for Mane and Pelle and invest in some strikers who can score goals in the Winter as well as the Spring and Autumn then we will have a better season than the last 5
  7. Does Peter Griffin work for us then?

    Sammy Lee

He clearly hated Klippity-Klop as well and wound him up when we went 3-2 up so the blue noses will like that - though not his past. Met him in 1990 when he was on the way to Neil Madison's wedding (I think - I was putting petrol in his car). Was a top bloke then and a top bloke in The Wycombe Arms in Winchester for the past few years. Will be missed
  9. I hope you had her consent
  10. #it'shappening
  11. genuinely laughed out loud at that, thank you scotty
  12. I just want an appointment now to be honest so that we have a manager before the end of the transfer window. Worryingly (maybe) I know for a fact that Saints were (before yesterday anyway) looking to raise money on the capital markets again (as my neighbour is handling it). I say maybe as leverage is a part of any business and borrowing against the TV money probably makes sound financial sense during the transfer window (so maybe that's a good thing transfers wise), however it shows that Kat is not writing cheques anymore eh.
  13. other than £ down, FTSE down, Scotland calling for a second indepence vote, PM resignation, petition for 2nd referendum and for London to leave the UK I totally agree :-)
  14. I am well aware that we are still in the EU at the moment, got to love the pedantry of a football forum Point about Bosman still stands. Having said that we're going to have to abide by EU law probably anyway to keep trading in the EU so it probably changes nothing
  15. only due to the EU court ruling that said that, in the old days we retained a player's registration after the contract finished and could get a transfer fee - I remember it well... and as we're not in the EU any more...
  16. Agreed. He was never the same after Maggie Philbin walked out on him
  17. And a Premier League winners medal
  18. wayne bridge jeff kenna kevin phillips (arguable, not definite, and he came back)
  19. Will they be getting the fat out of the pipes?
  20. This sounds almost word for word like the criticism of Poch when we appointed him after his Espanyol sacking - I'm taking that as a positive sign. To be honest, if we get 24 good months out of him then I'll be happy
  21. That team wins the tournament
  22. K Billy, please confirm the other name is not Steve McClaren
  23. It makes you realise that the red half of the city has, it's hard to believe, classier fans. No wonder the red half is bigger and so much more succesful. Why would you grow up in Liverpool and support the ****e club anyway?
  24. I have just genuinely installed adblock for ios and it worked!
  25. but the premier league reset *everything*... means the blue few can't claim their titles mind you :-)
