Ive Not Smoked For Four Days But Im Fine
Guan 2.0 replied to Jeff Le Taxi's topic in The Muppet Show
Just read this back and it appears a tad antagonistic. It was meant to highlight the fact that at present, there is no definitive answer! -
Ive Not Smoked For Four Days But Im Fine
Guan 2.0 replied to Jeff Le Taxi's topic in The Muppet Show
Same here, but more like 4-5 than 30. And spread a few months apart. I've never understood what causes an everday person to become a 'habitual' smoker. Perhaps they have a certain type of set-up in their brain chemistry. Or maybe they're just whiny ****s with no sense of responsibility who want to blame everyone apart from themselves for their pathetic addiction, and bleat on like the tobacco was the same as heroin. Oh, and for all those who are 'addicted': avoiding all smoke filled areas, the sight/smell of cigarettes, and swearing off ownership of Tobacco is not giving up. I regularly have a pack of 20 B+H in my jacket pocket, And two ciggies have gone over 3 months. When you have them on you constantly, and aren't tempted, then you are over it. -
Dean Richards AND Paul Williams. Also, he may be looking for players that can perform in the Championship as well as league one, and as such the players we're after are in a position to turn down deals from their current clubs in order to get a bosman pay day from the financial big boys of the lower leagues.

So anyone who doesn't agree with your point of view is automatically a Lowe Luvvie (and not entitled to an opinion, and therefore (by the inference you make) not a true fan unlike "some posters/fans" who are the "life" of the mighty saints? Rational and Mature. Maybe some just don't like a drink driving (sorry, Barbican swilling) 'figurehead' who's failed/quit every professional team (England under Graham Taylor, Nord Ireland) since he walked out on us the first time for his 'Spiritul home' (a phrase often used by self aggrandising bull****ters apparently) of Sunderland (not the second when he fell out with that devilish Rupert character from the past, the one so evil that Lawrie Couldn't bear to keep the dirty dirty shares he had gained from the reverse takeover, and swapped it instead for lots of filthy filthy money). And before anyone asks why I 'just believe what I heard', I've had the good fortune to meet both Ted Bates and Lawrie, most notably at the 'last do at the Dell', where Ted Bates was arguably more muble, with a quiet dignity about hime' whereas lawrie seemed intent on inserting himself into as many photo ops as possible. Personally, I couldn't give a **** if Mc-money-to-me has a painting of himself hanging in the boardroom, or there's a picture of a train there. I'm much more concerned with seeing the Ted Bates Trophy back in the cabinet by the end of the day, signalling a bright new era for saints.

+ 1 I cannot fathom why anybody would want Kevin 'bottler' Keegan or Ian '****' Dowie. Or indeed Peter 'FFS' Reid'

TBH, if they turn under the new regime, it's not going to be on a free jolly. Privately owned. Which means if they want to come along and watch the team, they'll have paid for their tickets, and are putting money through the gates. 'Fair play' if they do.

I think you're forgetting 'Saint go Wilde'. Or rather, trying to. I know I am.

I think this is proof, if proof be needed, that the takeover saga is on the verge of extinguishing our collective sanity, and needs to be completed today.

No, we wouldn't. But we probably wouldn't lie either. We would go through the proper procedures, with our allies (all of them) keeping the public briefed on what was happening, explaining and showing fully the reasons for our presence being necessary. The Commons would vote on the decison to go to war, if this was the case. We wouldn't sex up a document, make up some bull**** about the country's leader being best buds with Osama Bin laden when they hated each other, Nick some royal prerogative powers from the Queen in order to declare war without the support of Parliament, **** off half the world, be Americas *****, railroad through measures and ignore or deride as cowardly any country that opposes us instead of at least listening to their arguments, go in under eqquiped and briefed, costing soldiers their life for the sake of The PM's hard on for Bush, make up non exsistant evidence to fit the cause, Label anybody who questioned the lies as a 'traitor to their country' and a terrorist sympathiser, then when it becomes clear that there are no WMD's/ Saddam-Bin Laden Alliances, point to the cluster**** of a warzone that is Iraq , and say, "We've brought peace to the region, that's good though innit? So stop moaning". Or you would hope not. Because they didn't know better, they called it 'civilization,' when it was part of their slavery To ravage, to slaughter, to usurp under false titles, they call empire; and where they make a desert, they call it peace

Surely finding out you're Norwegian isn't that bad? -
Always said this about him, Well meaning at first, but doesn't do enough research on areas he stakes a claim in, often ends up looking a bit stupid, and when scrutinised can get a bit *****y. He reminds me of the 'Michael Scott' Character from The American version of 'The Office'

How are Norwich getting on?

And Eating the babies as celebration for each goal Wolves scored went in was just the final straw...

The daftest, most self-centred and most myopic rescue proposal yet..

+1 "Bernard, subsidy is for art...for culture. It is not to be given to what the people want, it is for what the people don't want but ought to have" In all seriousness though, I'm leaving Livepool for the Easter Break in a couple of hours, and I will miss the amount of Art projects and Galleries we have up here... The BlueCoat, FACT, The Tate, Walker Art gallery etc... It seems horrifying that Southampton would gladly do away with long term acquisition by firesales and short-termisim. Now where have I seen that before? -
Birmingham 1 Saints 2

Reminds me of what Alan Ball use to say about the world cup winning squad. He was under no illusions that the England players did not have the best players, but they did have the best team, through players that complimented each other. It's an extreme example, but Crespo and Shevchenko are examples of great players doing naff all when not fitting in with a team.

Is Phillips still Injured? I genuinely think if he's not, we can get a win at their place.

Nice one... Now lets have two more just like it!

You've already done this We've just had this Excellent stuff, keep going That's enough Politics - Ed

Whatever the case may be, I think the important thing is that we're now trying to decide to heap the most praise on for our home wins, instead of *****ing at each other about boardroom seesaws. IMHO.

Number 1 should be roll call. You forget that any meeting cannot start without a roll call. -
Mary Corbett felt "threatened" and "physically intimidated" by Lowe

Coincidentally after Saints have recorded a convincing win at home, meaning the usual moans can't be repeated.. Shome mishtake, shurely? -

I'll (for now) be taking this with a pinch of salt. Too many factors that don't add up. First off is that it's a third hand source, secondly it's an anonymous source, thirdly the low post count, mostly based on a hatred of Lowe and directors in general, and finally, the fact I doubt a reporter would be authorised to make or pass on news on sponsorship policy.
