I loathe Vardy, but I have a feeling he'll score one goal. 2-1 to us, I hope.

Cracking result. The Chelsea game will have shown the Ralph what the team can do, this match will have told him which squad players are incapable of maintaining such a performance. Saints also get another chance at improving our home record AND wiping out Hoj's 4th game of his ban, with the added bonus of it being served against championship oppo. Real chance of a confidence-boosting win here. Hopefully, there will be no 90 min live coverage and lowered ticket price so we get a decent crowd. Being drawn against Pompey beforehand would be sweet as well. Another plus would be giving Michael Obafemi a sub run out if his hamstring recovers. P.S. No babyshark please.

I'm actually looking forward to watching saints on a Saturday afternoon. Bloody Hell. It's Been a long two years! (♪, ♩) I want to be, in that number.. (♪, ♩) 2-0 saints.

In this case, we were overcome by events. Sunday afternoon I was told Hughes was going Monday morning, and as RH was getting cold feet, Flores was coming in instead. I know K billy had the same source. Seems that now RH is on board, MAybe even Flores was used as a stalking horse to show him we were in a hurry to appoint. Which is great as I think RH has the potential to be so much better than Flores.
-
That's half right... Has anybody got the name of a good Flores, i mean florists btw?

Does anyone have the number of a Southampton Taxi firm? There is an older gent soon to be in need of one back to Wales. Still, he'll have a generous payoff, so he can tip well. So long and er.. Thanks for keeping us up, I guess?

Les, you've been let go from the club. It's time to make a clean break mate.
-
At least have the new man in the stands for the next game, the caretaker can do the same bad Job as Mark.
-
1/3rd of the steps needed. Ross Wilson and Mark Hughes replaced after we appoint Les's successor, please.

"Good evening, I'm calling to see if Steve Bruce is free to chat for a few minutes"

At least It's on a Saturday. We get the misery out of the way on the first day of the weekend and can do something nice on Sunday. #WeMarchOn Seriously though, who would buy a ticket at the moment?
-
If the fans don't sell out St Mary's next at the next home game and cheer the team for the full 90, they are at fault for the result, or something.

I hope Ings bangs in 20 a year for us, but your statement is damning. Fit for a year, but Klopp didn't want to play him and sold him at the first opportunity, and he has only scored 3 in three seasons.
-
No one can say the club isn't funny . Agreeing to pay 20 million pounds for a player who has had 4 long term injuries, and scored 3 times in 3 seasons. Oh, and Liverpool only paid £6.5 million for (Ings didn't make enough appearances to trigger the further 1.5 million bonus payment, shockingly.) Our glorious leadership think the above adds up to an increase of 14 million pounds in his value. I wonder if our negotiating team pulls their pants down before meeting with the opposition, or figures it's more fun to let them do it.
-
How much did Liverpool buy him for in the first place? I can only presume £25 million, and his injury-hit time there (earning little playing time), has deprecated his value by 5 million. Otherwise i can only imagine a talantless arse would negotiate upwards from what Liverpool had paid for him....
-
I may have mentioned it once or twice in passing, but he was unfit to manage at this level. Anybody who for some reason feels sorry for him, should remember that he was paid millions to produce garbage football on a weekly basis, bulls#it his way out of any responsibility for improving it, and then repeat the same mistakes a week later. Apparently that makes him 'nice' and 'honourable'.

Does anybody have match highlights? No MOTD coverage for this one : (

Some of the best reactions i've seen so far. Sometimes football rewards you. Today was one of those days. Also, I hope Huddersfield stay up now.
-
Not over yet. Regroup at half time, make some tactical changes and the game is there for the taking. C'mon Saints!

Except that this piece is from 2013 concerning actions from 2012. I take your point that this Government today has double standards, but in this particular case it is a different Leader, business Secretary, Coalition, etc. I mean, look at who was being questioned over waving the deal through. Vince cable, now a leader of an irrelevant party, who manages to win as much airtime as he wins votes.

Having a system in place, and then ignoring the vital functions of that system, and bending/breaking every rule which made it successful. When faced with the reality that Pellegrino was a disaster, we tried to imagineer a mindscape that PR equals points. Turns out, blue sky thinking can't alter the league table. Disastrous on all fronts really.
