Saints vs Chelsea Match & Reactions Thread
Guan 2.0 replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
No: Clyne Lallana Lambert Ramirez Cork out of position Midfield and fowards in different shape. Do you consider that our 'full strength side? Just waiting for the numptys to text solent saying how badly this will affect our goal difference. -
Don't know if anyone can help me with this, but I'm looking for digital recordings of Sharpe, read by Sean Bean and Paul McGann. If anybody has any useful links, and can confirm whether or not they are unabridged or otherwise, I would be grateful.

Can someone buy this as an early new years pressie for the forum? Ta.

In the cup? Careface Let's be realistic here: the newcastle and sunderland results are far more important to us. Neither are 'too big to go down' and we're now in a postion to climb up the table by dragging other teams below us. I doubt our coaching sessions consist of wetting our knickers over the results over a freak result for the bottom team.

With the amount of mutual back slapping between the two, it's no surprise! http://www.sabotagetimes.com/football/football-sport/harry-redknapp-my-best-signing-was-arsenal-legend-nightmare-paul-merson/ or: How i signed a drug addict who lied to me.

When you go to bed, who wears the Lambert mask, you or your missus?

Moreover, they are not even run by the so called 'community' thus far. They are in admin, and even the ground ownership is up in the air. So who will take on these burning issues? Why, Neil Allen of course, that bastion of investigative journalism with a tenacious hunger for the truth! When he smells a dirty rat at Fratton Park (and not the ones that are the true cause of the blocked pipes), he is sure to leap into action with his trademark catchphrases of "Sad saints fans obviously have nothing better to do than stir", "I'm not going to investigate things just because other teams fans' ask me to" and "bored now, blocking you on twitter", and his favourite "One article - 240 paragraphs. I'm a genius" Just remember Neil, don't comprimise your Journalistic integrity by getting too close to, or becoming the story - by such methods as purchasing shares and encouraging your readers to take out loans to do the same! Looking forward to the usual monday spin of Yeovil Tactics being booed at half time by the passionate home crowd, downpour forming a river of hope, and the New Year bringing New Cheer for the worlds biggest community owned club.

IMHO, Reading made the mistake of signing players to win the championship last season, with no great thought for the future. With what limited budget they had, they frittered it away on the likes of Roberts, who was no longer good enough for the Premier League, and had no resale value at 34. Some may argue we did the same with Billy Sharp, but we immediately loaned him out at the start of the season, and he is younger to boot. Same goes for Hammond, who struggled in the Championship, and both were replaced by better players. Reading have the same squad plus a few cast off and one tetchy mercenary

I thought this was just a rubber-stamping exercise? #confused

Bets on the next Neil Allen piece going something like: It was a day that hope stood up to injustice. A boy wept in his fathers arms, unable to comprehend why his beloved team were being punished twice for a crime not of their own making. They say that truth comes from the mouth of babes, and when it cuts so clear as this, it's hard to argue. But Portsmouth fans stood strong, and stood together, and realised that this step back would allow them a running start to the finish line of the high court. Freinds and loved ones were as one to ensure that any tears shed would form a river of hope. [include 100x fawning one line paragraphs, then finish with] Because Pompey fans know the way the way to win, is to stand against the world as it rallies upon them, and let the chimes of victory ring out.

Well I was at the top of the Kingsland and it was extremely loud from there.....

Norwich game springs to mind... being in the ground and seeing Lambert have his shirt pulled from his neck when he was trying to go on runs/ being jumped on and knocked over and being adjudged to have fouled his man was hard to take.

Wha????? I was under the impression that the bestest (Who are comparable to Solidarity in their bonds of fellowship), were boycotting Supporters Direct in it's entirety as Evil David Lampitt (who is the true villan and should personally take the -10 points) was made CEO. I know a few of the phew misfired and boycotted Sports direct, but still. Short memories and all that once again....

As i said t'other day, bit a noddy club. Manager that looks like and even more ****ish Heston Blumenthal (if such a thing is possible). Makes me laugh whenever uninformed pundits say we won the championship. You'd find more genuine passion and excitement in a hospice conga line than amongst their 'supporters'. I'll be there to watch us beat them 3-1.

http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/rule-book-leaves-guy-perplexed-1-4545272 Rule book leaves Guy perplexed Guy Whittingham has been left scratching his head at the Football League after Alex Cisak’s return to Oldham. The Pompey caretaker boss is perplexed at league rulings which have seen Cisak recalled by the Latics – but Pompey unable to sign a loan keeper. Not enough facepalms for this thread.
