  1. You brilliant, brilliant man... Sounds spot on!
  2. Hello all, Hoping those ITK/with recent experience of digital radios can recommend a good model. Not one for the lounge, just a small one for kitchen use, with a smallish/flexible unobtrusive antenna, and a cd player if possible. Already have a larger one with ipod dock. Thanks.
  3. I'd love to help but I was just planning on sort of sitting about. In my pants.
  4. Cortese is flush from the GG's, and Saintsfoundation has just been given a grant which peed off the council, so maybe approach them? "Hello uncle Nic, I would like to make cakes, and want free monies, here is a picture of a cake give me money". You haven't even got the Cleavage of that cake girl from the awful E4 american cake 'comedy' to fall back on.
  5. That's a horrible way to refer to her weight gain.
  6. Awful post RB. Take some time before you produce such dross in the future. Don't you realise that it was Guy commanding his battling troops to the decisive victory that will have sent out a warning to the rest of the division. And losing streak? Ibelieve you mean the Deserved 3 points, earned despite injuries and secret refereeing directives against the club, which had resulted in a small number of unjust draws. Must try harder.
  7. Fair to say it was their 'Cup final' then?
  8. It is the pitch issue. Even a fresh pitch will still take time to 'bed in' as seen with other stadiums which have replaced pitches. Just keep it for football, much simpler!
  9. Even if it hasn't be chosen, I don't wish for it to be selected. So I would say.... Good.
  10. What is this please?
  11. Maybe some better connected peeps should club contact the aforementioned tax groups, oppo councillors from yesterday, Hassan, etc with such concerns?
  12. Also because AL is a bit of a wet cabbage.
  13. LOL1111!! Would you go around shouting C*nt at these events? It's an amusing mental image. "I'm sad the old c*nt has died" "she's just popped our son out of her c*nt"
  14. Nice to see MS bigging up Lambert as well: http://www.clubcall.com/southampton/saints-midfielder-expects-lambert-call-up-1552786.html However, Schneiderlin insists there is much more to Lambert's game than grabbing goals and has backed the Saints striker to impress if he is given a chance at international level. "He can keep the ball, he gives you time to breathe, he's a very good player," the Frenchman told the Daily Echo. "Out of my four goals I've scored this year, he's passed me three times the ball. "He is someone who has great vision as well." He added: "I really hope that he's going to get what he deserves, which is an England call-up. "Seriously, I don't know what they're waiting for to call him up. "He has scored 12 goals and I'm sure he will score even more."

    Redknapp

And the Divison one title was due to Mandaric gave them megabucks (prosinescki, merson et al) whilst the rest of the division held fire sales following the collapse of ITV digital. Talk about a repuation built on sand(banks)

    Redknapp

I think you may be one of very few. I think it was the manner of our relagation, and the fact that Redknapp later admitted that he couldn't give a toss. Understand why people don't like Lowe, but it shoudn't distract from how awful and lazy redknapp was. As I said earlier.... I also like to see a league table of money spent on wages/transfer fees to points ratio before we judge his results elsewhere...
  17. I'll grant you that this was the case once we were down. The FA cup 'youth team', SCW coming in, the Tejera affair, Clifford and his supersoccer - it was not a happy ship. However this was after 'Arry had been backed fully, shown he couldn't give a toss, and taken us down. Not sure why people are bringing up the other stuff, it was after Redknapp had already shown his incompetence!
  18. That was the season after relegation. Brilliant man and manager, did all he could had arms and legs tied whilst here, not his fault, then stated that Saints fans were 'too intelligent' to go in for 'silly negativity' and give him anything other than rapturous rounds applause of thanks when he appears, the snide implication being that if saints fans who remember his lack of effort, appalling signings, terrible tactics, and public statements that his heart was never was never in it from day one, were just reactionary morons who couldn't appreciate genius.

    Merrington

Can someone on twitter please get Adam to pass on that the crowd are unlikley to give a round of applause to his personal hero Redknapp next week? Forget relegation for one second, this is the man who claimed that 'After about a week at Southampton I knew I had made a mistake.' but didn't mention that to anyone, just did a quarter assed job and moaned about everything, and blamed everyone but himself. If someone could also dig out the 'heart was never in it from day one' quotes that would be even better... Btw, thought both commentators were otherwise excellent today.
  20. Hmm, Lallana back as captain... Maybe being given a chance to fail in that role? Punch out is a big miss - but still optimistic of a result. Oh and if gtomlinson is reading, here is the song we sing every game without fail. It's been number 1 in Southampton for the last 10 years, and we don't even bother to change the lyrics for venue or team
  21. LAWRO'S PREDICTIONS We asked for your thoughts on Lawro's Premier League predictions this week. Agree or disagree, you can have your say using the hashtag #lawrospredictions
  22. There was a small group of fans, Who announced 'we're the best in the land' But couldn't be fucked To ever turn up And you can count their crowds on one hand
