A couple of days back, I told people to keep their eyes peeled for a late in the day Loan (RB). I've been told (roughly 10 mins that are trying to complete a move for today, but it may have to wait until Monday. Only announcing on sat/sun if the press or twitter get wind of it. Thats all i have to say for now, I might have to smiley later!

Good to see the OS not going overboard.
-
Nothing incoming today. Unless Celtic fancy playing without a keeper tonight... That being said, if we agree a late in the day loan, Expect it to be heralded across the OS as the second coming!
-
K billy has a very good source. That is all!
-
Only part worth anything. Compromise... only worked out in last 24 hours. Probably a good idea to have told Morgan first. Now even that is in doubt.
-
I don't know what he knows? And I don't work for the club. So probably not!
-
I'm guessing he's sourcing pictures for many Asian/Emo ladies.

No one has been able to stop the dominos thus far. Think we are going to now have to pay well over the odds for someone (most likely Vlarr), just to show other targets we can bring people in. One of four Dutch nationals that are priority targets. Quite a bit of buck passing will come to head this week. Boardroom personnel may change, not as much as first team. Morgan was a key member (view of entire club). So we have to do something drastic now. That's as much detail I can go into from the bullet points I was sent. We lose either way with J-rod, MoPo likes Ings as well, and Liverpool fancy both.

I think Burnley are about to realise that all our money isn't reserved for them. They will have to make a final decision soon.
-
IF the cohesion goes with the old group, I see no harm in manufacturing some more.

For around two minutes, I did. But then I spoke to my source. They had meant to put it in a message along with some news about youth team targets, thought they had, and didn't check. They pointed out that in the last 3 years, there has only been this outgoing player and one incoming player that I didn't know about in advance. Now while the mood is naturally suspicious at the moment, I asked myself (putting myself in the shoes of others on here) what tangible benefit would my source of had by omitting or lying about the omission? It's not like we would have started the season and no-one would have asked where chambers had gone. It was less than 24 hours after speaking to my source that the news broke. So in this case at least, the conspiratorial angle just doesn't make any sense. Now if certain posters want to talk deliberate leaks - has anyone seen the express today?

From my own point of view, I was informed that RK decided that Lovren was toxic and that the damage he could do to morale would outweigh and benefit that 'making a stand' would bring. He wants Morgan to stay. But I doubt he thought that Chambers was a loon, and that 16million was just too good a price to turn down. No wonder we're having to offer contracts to every 12 year old with a decent pass...
-
Full disclosure - I wasn't told about this. Whether that means it's a new development (unlikely) or something we were hoping to prevent, I am not sure. Seriously wondering how we intend to keep Morgan now. Would have to capture all of our targets early next week!

No wonder Cb/'s are our priority... Jos is scary!
-
Nope. Honestly don't. 4-5 players. The fifth depends on the quality of the fourth, and their ability to play a second position. But we are approaching many players. Someone might tell JC's dad that's why we are busy! Three posts, done for the day.

Saints in 'frustrated in doing business quietly shocker.

Because you asked so.... nicely? Ings move is currently stalled, but we (the club i mean. Not me literally. I mean, sometimes friends and family will ask how saints performed over the weekend, and i will say "We won". They will immediately become apoplectic and throw my own boots at me (which, truth be told, I am too big for), and ask what the hell I am thinking, claiming to be some semi-demi player-cum-club representative, waggling my juicy morsels to all and sundry. I then explain that i am incorporating the individual strata the (fanbase, players, and board) in my description of the club as a collective. They then smile and agree it was obvious, as we bite off a foxes nose) are still positive. The reason i asked for SW to give the board 2 weeks was very simple. On the day that I asked for a week, there were many on here saying we had gifted Tadic to Everton, and missed the boat on Pelle. Because i was still hearing positive noises, I thought we would still bring them to the club. A week later, both had signed, and Koeman's first press conference had calmed and impressed many. I believe that in 2 weeks, we will have made some good signings, sold Lovren for an superb profit, and hopefully Morgan will be impressed enough by our new recruits to stick around. Keep the faith.

From what i am told, we are trying to learn from previous mistakes. When we approached Osvaldo, it was obvious he liked the idea of money, and little else we had to offer. Had we not been putting money by for him (as a named target of the incoming manager), we may not have had to sign the compromise that was Forren at an earlier date. So now we are approaching all of our first choice targets simultaneously, trying to keep it as quiet as possible. We may be 'noisy' in regards to lesser players, which i suppose is part and parcel of the game now (anybody remember McManaman at Madrid first time? He wasn't too proud to come in when they meant it though). Of course, until we fully change the perception surrounding the club, which we are actively striving to, every man and his dog will be trying to portray us in the press as a crisis club, and try and unsettle our players. I just ask between now and the 3rd of August that the fretting is kept to a sensible minimum. I would hate to see threads started calling Saints a 'joke club' or claiming we are the 'laughing stock of English football, every time the Daily star links Morgan with Juventus.
-
Wouldn't that be something?
-
Hmmm. Last time, I said give saints a week. Now I'm saying, give them two. Then judge what I said.

I find the First World war fascinating, not too sure about the IWM refit. I have been told we are in for Ings and it's looking positive, he says he is happy (in public), but like Lallana, maybe he just loves the sweet sweet taste of loyalty bonus and signing on fee. After all, back in the day, i was told Beauchamp, and we ended up with Marsden! To answer DD, yes I am fine, just trying to change it up a bit.
-
I think KBSS was being slightly mischievous

Everything is negotiable, When I said Lallana and Liverpool should help negotiate the 25% sell on clause, I was told it couldn't be done be done. When Everton and Schalke came in for Tadic, it was said that we had no chance. And when Pelle dragged on, some said it was a dead move. Now i'm not saying that D-Ings is coming here. But I will say that a lot can happen in a week, with the possibility of clubs moving onto other targets (that old chestnut), improved offers, and yes, further signing making a club seem a more attractive proposition. But who knows? Maybe Ings will be true to his word, after all, a single factor can cause a complete collapse in some cases. Like here:

If Burnley were to cash in now, rather than him leave for nothing, it would not be on him, either.
