  1. IMO Pochettino is becoming a bit overrated. He is clearly an exellent coach and he has great man managment skills. Tactically, I would say he has potential to be one of the best, but he still has a lot to learn. Will Spurs give him time to develop? I doubt it.
  2. Howe or Rosler for me. Or some other young, clever bloke. Moyes would be a disaster as I think he is mentally wounded after his spell with the prawn sandwich brigade.
  3. Seems like a lot of fans are sticking their heads in the sand at the moment. This is status atm: The new regime has so far failed to persuade Pochettino to sign a new contract, and they will most likely sell our two most talented players. This means two steps back, and none forward since their arrival.
  4. I think you're speaking sense again. What do we actually know about KL's wealth?
  5. If that is right, and if its true she shares her fathers ambitions for the club, then there really shouldn't be a problem to persuade the players and Pochettino to stay and push on for top 6 or 4. From the looks of it, she either doesn't have the funds, or she doesn't know what she's doing. Or both.
  6. This. I feel very certain Cortese knew what he was doing.
  7. What makes you so sure? He's working very hard to make the new board look bad, and says he will be back at football.
  8. Yes, IMO. Ran the club with an iron fist, but had the right ambitions and made the players and manager beleive in him. I think with him we could have reached CL within a couple of seasons. Who knows where we're going with the new regime.
  9. Just saw that. I regard Blackmore as a quite reliable source as well. I guess us fans are completly in the dark when it comes to what actually goes on at St. Marys...
  10. And this from when he signed a new contract a year ago: "I've been at the club since I was 12 and I can only see my future lying with Southampton FC," Lallana said. "I can't wait to work with the new management team and the lads to continue our progress in the Premier League. It was an easy decision for me with the direction the club is going in. "If someone was to say that I'd end my career playing for Southampton in the Premier League then I'd snap your hand off for it." http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/22112980

  12. gonna be the longest summer ever if the club doesnt sort out a new contract for poch soon.
  13. I always think Lindegaard at ManU looks decent when he gets the chance.
  14. According to a pundit on norwegian TV, the relationship between Poch and Cortese was not very good at the end of Corteses reign. His source: Claus Lundekvam.
  15. More like the new Tore Andre Flo, if you ask me.
  16. Good news if true, but as he self has pointed out before: contracts means very little in football, especially when it comes to managers.
  17. If we we have owners with the same ambitions as Cortese and funding to match, I'll think he'll stay. If not, he'll be off IF something better comes in.
  18. I'm guessing it all depends on the ambitions of the current or future owner(s).
  19. Good point. And thank god we got rid of that slimy Pardew.
  20. Without would be appreciated!
  21. Any good plug and play tactics for saints?
  22. A very good call. Very difficult to get good players at a reasonable price in january.
  23. Didn't mention the tie enough IMO.
  24. This forum gets stranger every day.
