Roy Keane says hello.
-
Have to admit, Palace has a fantastic atmosphere.

According to Jim White: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/picturegalleries/11204948/Ranking-the-atmospheres-at-the-20-Premier-League-grounds-by-Jim-White.html#?frame=3093739

Dislike him with a passion.

Tomasz Kuszczak or Tim Wiese should do as back up for Forster if Boruc goes.
-
ITT: nothing about Sadio Mane
-
Think Redmond will be a very good player, so I rather have him instead of Mane.
-
I've met him a couple of times. And he has a apologized :-) Also talked about Dave Jones, and how he was not very popular amongst many of the players. Very old school.

Johansen was the very reason I started supporting Southampton. He played for my local team in Norway, and was my biggest hero at the time he left for England. He should only know how much pain he has caused me with that move. Do you still have that shirt?

What to the board need to do to gain back the trust of the fans?
ToreSF replied to maysie's topic in The Saints
Simple answer: the team has to stay out of relegation zone. -
Samaras possibly signing today according to some journos on twitter. I wonder which of our 30 scouts discovered him ...
-
Old, slow and pretty ****.
-
Haven't heard about that before.
-
Bradley Wright-Phillips and Nathan Dyer for stealing purses...
-
Berkovic and Stern John would get a place.
-
If you could set up a 11 of former/current Southampton-players that you for some reason don't like because of their personality, who would be in it?
-
No! OPs post was great fun to read again. What a bizarre club this is.

This article from january seems relevant today: "With the death of the patron, the chicken has lost its head. For a while it continued wandering around without a sense of direction, then it bled to death." http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jan/16/katharina-liebherr-southampton-football-owner-german-markus

What I'm reading from this is that there is a realistic chance for Kat to be recouping what she and her father spent on the club. Selling our star players, taking dividend from profits/taking back loan sums, buying a couple of new ones to keep us up, before selling within a year. In my head, this is the only thing that makes sense. It's totally unrealistic that the club was/is unable to keep some of the players that has left/is leaving at least for another season.

The answer I was after. Thanks a lot.

The fit and proper test is a joke. Look at some of the lunatics they've let take over clubs. Asian dude at Cardiff and the italian one at Leeds springs to mind.

Asset stripping is regulated by law, isn't it?

How much debt is there? £60-70m?
