Who could replace Lallana? Must be technically skilled, hard worker, preferably able to use both feet, goalscorer, able to defend. Is Joe Cole totally unavailable?

I know it's been said before, but he and the club deserves a lot of praise for turning around his career at us. Been a very important player to us this season. Playing well, working hard, and I think you can tell that it is very important for him that the team does well. He has talked the talk, and indeed walked the walk. Wonder if it was Cortese or Adkins or someone else who made him change his attitude.

Friendly banter is very welcomed by me. My main problem is when people just toss in threads with "Adkins out", "Guly is ****" or "Cortese is a *****" without backing it up with arguments just to start some **** stirring. Not to mention the numbers of "i told you so", or "you were so wrong"-threads. It is boring, predictable and takes up way to much space.

Don't agree with that. If he is 80% fit, he is fit enough to play 30-40 min, but not the whole match. He came back from Uruguay yesterday (?), so guess he has a bit of jet lag. Also he hasn't trained with the team this week.

Fair enough to loose away to L'pool, but this was an effortless performance by us. Think we got the tactics wrong in the first half as Liverpool played much more direct than we where prepared for. Way to much space behind our defenders. When we once in a while won the ball, there was no-one willing to attack. Second half we looked very tired. Lets hope this is a blessing in disguise and that we will be sharper next week. Bring on Reading.

I think Nigel is a genuine good guy, intelligent person and a great manager. And I absolutely got the impression that the players like and respect him. Never really understood why so many english fans don't recognize academic persons in football.

Not sure if it has been pointed out, and I know it doesn't matter but West Brom haven't ever won a premier league game on a monday (5 draws, 8 defeats). And the they haven't beaten us in the last 7 games in PL.
