  1. This. I think Hooiveld has improved massively lately. Reads the game better and does what he does best, which is being big and winning a lot of duels. Still think we should make a new centre back our main transfer target this summer.
  2. Speaking of Boruc and chanting:
  3. Totally understandable that they got rid of O'Neil. One of the most overrated managers in the game, IMO. Di Canio would (literally) kick some butts if he came in, and I think he is mental enough to actually save them.
  4. Aaallaah lambert!
  5. Sunderland fought hard in the second half, but lacks quality.
  6. Two central defenders on the bench, but no striker. The Mayuka mystery remains unsolved.
  7. Don't think it would've been a goal if it wasn't for Brambles deflection, but yeah, hard to call. Doesn't look like Sunderland have to much confidence. They don't play like a team at all.
  8. Yep, had to edit that.
  9. Titus Bramble just scored for ManUre against Sunderland.
  10. Neville was **** in that match. Gaston played well in the first half, but ran out of steam in the second. Early substitute.
  11. Not to mention Ben Reeves raw talent and ability to track back. I really think he should start ahead of Lallana, who is all fart and no ****.
  12. Without Chaplow's sting, Lee's workrate, Sharp's goalscoring abilities, De Ridders dribbling, and now Butterfields wittiness, I really can't see us staying up.
  13. Funniest guy in the dressing room, according to Clyne. Will we manage without him?
  14. Southampton FC ‏@SouthamptonFC 2m Danny Butterfield has joined npower Championship side @OfficialBWFC on loan until the end of the season. #saintsfc pic.twitter.com/wGSQKSFNyL
  15. I stand corrected, but I'm reading that as they might miss out, or at least not start on the pitch.
  16. Lallana, Shaw and Hooiveld might be out with minor knocks, according to Pochettino via the clubs twitter profile.
  17. Southampton 0 Chelsea 2 Which by the way is a totally fair prediction. Chelsea are 3rd in the league, above us on the form table, have better players than us and are better away than we are at home. The most realistic prediction is a Chelsea win, and I can live very well with that.
  18. Agree with this, but if we make a decent profit I won't be to sorry.
  19. Was rumoured a few weeks ago as well. Sell him with a nice profit (£5-6 mill), and all parties (except maybe Arsenal fans) will be happy.
  20. Agree with this. I think Stoke has painted themselves into a corner with signing players that are suitable to a style of football that will never get you into top 7. Adkins would struggle to succeed with that lot.
  21. Great gesture by Adkins to thank players and fans at Southampton. Makes the club not thanking him look even worse.
  22. Don't think he'll give a **** about that, to be honest.
  23. Why? Reading will go down this season, but they will also be firm favorites to go back up again on first attempt. Probably Nigels best shot at managing in the PL within two years.
  24. 1. True, but would either way like to see Hooiveld replaced, and I think we should have 4 centre backs. 2. A versatile attacking midfielder should be able to play out wide and in the middle. We need more competition for those places, IMO. Hope to see Jay Rod more in the striker role next season. 3. If he is good enough, great! 4. I find it hard to imagine that there isn't anybody out there who is better than Fox and would be interested to compete for a place at a Premier league club. 5. Agree, and therefor it is not a priority.
