  1. It's past the point of banning him for trolling now, the mods have let it go on too long. When 90% of your users complain about one person who's constantly starting the same threads over and over again, there's an issue that needs sorting out. GS was the first person to make my Ignore list, but there's little point in actually having him on Ignore because he is f*cking everywhere. The reality is he's ruining the forum for a lot of people, myself included, and it's a shame because i've been using this forum and its past versions for nearly a decade now and never encountered such a complete and utter thunderc*nt. This isn't a democracy Steve, just ban the moron and maybe people will moan at you less and make your job a bit easier.
  2. Latest episode of The Walking Dead - they certainly livened it back up again!
  3. I get your point, but they both came to this country when they were under the age of 10 - Schneiderlin was nearly 19 when he signed for us. Bit of a difference.
  4. Oh good, this thread again.
  5. Goatboy, it seems that you and I do share a similar taste in music - although Turbo Shandy is such an Oasis rip-off! Have you listened to any Iron Curtain? They're a bit older but they're kind of seen as the founding fathers of this kind of genre: think Pendant & Switch meets Vandersluis. Very good stuff. You probably know them already but thought I would add them onto this thread.
  6. At least we know we'll definitely be going in for a keeper in the summer though.. First half apart from the goal (which was a lovely move) was utterly boring, Norwich were absolutely dire too. Second half was good to watch and the atmosphere picked up a bit too which always helps. Thought the game was done and dusted when we went 3-0 up, but our complacency caught up with us and we were lucky to get away with 3pts after conceding those 2 goals I think, and then for Sam to grab that counter-attacking goal at the end too was more than a bit fortuitous given the pressure Norwich were putting us under. Norwich were pretty crap though, never seen a team come to SMS with a 5 man midfield and offer less resistance to us keeping the ball in our midfield for 90 minutes! Feel a bit sorry for Norwich too, who seemed to have done something to annoy the ref as he barely gave them anything all game. That's the kind of thing that isn't going to help you in a relegation scrap...would rather them stay up than most of the teams in that part of the table though.
  7. Chelsea and Liverpool, definitely. We matched Liverpool in the first half but they got into their stride second half and were absolutely quality. Chelsea are unplayable.
  8. This is a serious thread about music you c*nt. F*cking heathen. On a plus note, i've had Radiator Key's new album on today - I have to say I didn't like him before but his latest stuff has been pretty decent. Keep it up son!
  9. In the Conference Premier that is, they're pretty much guaranteed to go up.
  10. I've watched them 5 or 6 times this year, they should stay up. Made up an 11pt gap on Bromley this season to only 2pts and they still have 2 games in hand. They've got money to spend too, so I could see them finishing top half potentially
  11. Les Reed was talking about pro contracts on TV the other week - signing a pro contract at 17 is pretty standard business and he'll be on the same deal as the other 17 year old pros at the club.
  12. Well Lassie Donergan from Tampa Tearaway did produce some of the album. I couldn't get over them stealing that hook from Serious Indigo though, they just changed one note!
  13. Crudweasel went a bit mainstream after their last album I think, they're not the same band they used to be.
  14. Either way it makes for a nice bit of scran. See, I said scran. I'm a proper Scouser now like! And you'll neeeever waaaalk...
  15. Why have I never thought about putting a pie in a bap before? That's f*cking genius.
  16. .......what kind of pies?
  17. Alright Tokes, calm yourself. Lets not get too hasty..
  18. I was born in Southampton but grew up near Basingstoke, moved back for Uni at the age of 18 and been here for about 3 and a half years. Starting to get a bit jaded though, so might look to move elsewhere in the next 18 months or so.
  19. Before my time, but saw him speak at Glastonbury last year which was excellent. Sad that people let the whole left/right divide in politics change their opinion of a person, who by nearly all accounts was highly respected. RIP
  20. It's quite funny that people are still trying to have a reasoned debate with "Barry" when he's just another incarnation of our favourite troll Stanley. Ignore him and he'll f*ck off to Mumsnet or something.
  21. Dinger - you should give Flibflop a go, they're a really interesting 6-piece band hailing from Cornwall. Fits in perfectly with your existing tastes as well.
  22. Well if he's got four legs he's got to be more mobile than Rickie up top..
  23. Just finished watching it - not quite what we were expecting but still a good end to a great series. Watched part of it biting my fist with tension! Ps: No homo
  24. Of course I want to see us win stuff, but it's not the be all and end all of supporting Saints. We had a decent run and could've gone further, but going out is not this big thing that people are making it out to be. Arsenal haven't won anything in nearly a decade, d'you think they might have a little bit more cause to be annoyed than us? Also one thing that really seems to be annoying people is that Sunderland and Hull have had pretty easy draws since we got knocked out, even though if we had gone through it would have been a completely different draw in a different version of reality, and chances are we would've drawn different teams than them. Proper physics and sh!t yo.
