The lad's a Chelsea fan, so if he's going anywhere it'll be there - he's Cole's natural successor. I think MP can play a big role in convincing him to stay for a bit longer though, they've got a great relationship and Luke's said in the press several times how much of a big influence he's been on him. Said similar things about Cortese too. His parents seem sensible too (unlike that money-grabbing skate Mark Chamberlain) and they might play a role in persuading him to stay with us for another year or possibly two. Although if we're looking at it like he's definitely going to leave this summer, Man Utd isn't a particularly attractive option at the moment. Lots of uncertainty about the manager and the squad needs a big overhaul. If I was Luke and I knew Man Utd were after me I would give it a season to see how they progress under Moyes, because why move to Utd now when I could also play for the team I support (Chelsea) for a manager who's idolised by the fans, and also play in Europe with them before I even turn 19? Most of his family are near London too. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

Because it was a 4-0 win for a team involving several players who are looking to get a place on the plane to Brazil for the WC? I would rather see highlights on The Football League Show of a 4-0 win in a midtable game than a 0-0 or 1-0 from teams at the top or bottom of the table. I get your point about the actual importance of the game, but in terms of "highlights" it deserves to be higher up, for sure.

Agree with this, maybe slightly unfair given that this is Farage's "specialist subject" and UKIP's main campaigning and fighting point. Very easy to seem like the preferable option when only focussing on one particular aspect of what would have to be a very broad manifesto if they were to actually challenge in the general election.

Our family dog is nearly 6, so he's pretty much half-way through his life. I will be a wreck when he's gone, love him to bits. JWP was played out of position - he's an attacking midfielder. Unfair to have a go at young players shoehorned into positions to compensate for injuries. If we'd had Schneiderlin + Waynama we would've won that, but we lacked any kind of defensive solidity. Second half we were absolutely dire.
