Just a little rick roll my chum.

That must've taken weeks to prepare....sad f*ckers. It's not as good as The Honda Advert though. That is just awesome

Thomson would be a possibility at RB, but we shouldn't risk a possible 3 points by tinkering with the side too much and playing a player out of position, especially at a crucial position like RB. Imo, we should play Saeijs at RB (apparently he can play at either CB or RB) and put Wotton in at CB with Perry. Not an especially pacy backline I know, but Blackpool don't have an especially pacy frontline either (I reckon Taylor-Fletcher could give Jon Parkin a run for his money at a pie eating contest) so that would cause minimal problems for us. It was painfully evident when we played Blackpool earlier in the season that we needed more brawn at the back, and I think that there is sufficient muscle in there to keep Blackpool at bay. I would also play Surman at LB, because he's not done particularly well in the last few games, and I feel that we need the delivery that Skacel can give on the wings, because Saga and Euell can't just magic goals out of thin air. Skacel is a natural winger, and we can't afford to have another stalemate, putting him out on the wing will provide goals. I would play: -----------Davis-------------- Saeijs--Perry--Wotton--Surman -------Gillett--Lallana---------- Thomson----------------Skacel --------Saga--Euell------------ Subs: Bart, Liptak, Morgan, DMG, BWP

Liverpool were amazing today - if only they could play like that in the league more often! They've got Villa next weekend too, so if they can win that one as well they could be in a position to move up to first...

3rd from the right looks like Seabiscuit.

Football Manager 2009 - Southampton Save Game Thread

John Goossens is quality at left back. Will sign for a season on loan in 1st season (or permanently if you can stump up £2m for him). Premiership class and gets much better. -
If this does go ahead then it should be rolling subs - that way everyone gets to play and can come back on if people have to go off. No chance of someone sponsoring me to play is there?

Quite good. But not a patch on

Hopefully this table is a reality - i'd sure take it!

Well, I won't go and watch him if he does play. Tbh if Eavis does want to attract a younger crowd to Glastonbury, he'll have to do better than Neil Young and Bruce Springsteen. However, i'd prefer to have them rather than the headliners that every festival seems to have (Muse, Kings of Leon, The Killers) because at least there's a bit of originality in the lineup. Neil Young at IOW though...don't think that was a good choice. Glastonbury, yes. Isle of Wight, no. He seems like much more of a Glastonbury kind of act, could even play the veteran's slot on Sunday I suppose. He doesn't suit IOW, I mean, one of the headliners for the other nights is The Prodigy. If that's not chalk and cheese, I don't know what is.

I saw that just after i'd posted...d'oh! Would be nice for them to play anyway, haven't seen them before and they would suit Glasto!

Here's a tip for you... Don't pay the fiver.

I'm definately going this year, this'll be my third year and I hope that it will be even better than last year's event! Pretty chuffed about Blur, not too sure about Springsteen, may watch Franz Ferdinand or someone else instead. Neil Young is pretty much a shoe-in for Friday night, so which British act is joint headlining the Pyramid on Saturday with Springsteen? I think it's between Arctic Monkeys (all of them went to Glasto last year and said they were gutted not to be out there playing) and Depeche Mode (self confirmed for Glastonbury according to teh innernetz, but will probably headling the Other Stage on Sunday or Friday imo). My guesses for the lineup this year: Friday Pyramid - Neil Young Other - Depeche Mode Saturday Pyramid - Springsteen (Confirmed)/Arctic Monkeys Other - Franz Ferdinand (Confirmed) Sunday Pyramid - Blur (Semi-Confirmed) Other - The Prodigy or Sex Pistols Put The Cribs and Biffy Clyro on the Other Stage 3rd from last on Friday and Saturday and i'll be a happy bunny

1-1 I think. Saga and a Lloyd James own goal.

Haven't been down to SMS for a while, but from what i've heard Saeijs has been absolutely immense for us. I think he could be the man that decides whether we stay up or go down. I'm not too sure about Gillett. While he is a very hard worker and certainly gives 110%, he can't keep possession for very long and his passing isn't that great. Aerially he's not great either, but I wouldn't expect a bloke of his size to be able to win headers against some of the huge players in the CCC. If he worked on his passing and learnt to keep a cool head and take his time then he could be a very good player for us I think.

I think that's what it came down to really. In past seasons' they've built up to some kind of twist all episode, whereas there are usually a good three or four bits that make you go 'oooh' or 'wtf!?' in this season's episodes. Looking forward to the one next week, ought to be a belter.

2-0 to Saints.
