  1. benthelegend? :smt102
  2. It's Baj, fact.
  3. Mark Fry looks a bit like Shane Warne.....maybe Warney is buying us? I wouldn't mind a ground share with Hampshire CCC tbh.
  4. The Blackening - Machine Head.
  5. Pacquiaho (or however the f*ck you spell it) will prove too much for Hatton I think. Ricky doesn't really have the stamina anymore he used to, whereas Pacman is so bloody quick, and he can go for ages at a mind-blowingly fast pace. But Hatton still has the power, so maybe if he can land some sucker punches early on he can finish him off. Still, i'm going to go for Pacman. When did Ricky say he was retiring again?
  6. To my shame....Spandau Ballet.
  7. Six games.
  8. If your team's sh*t and you know it, clap your hands!
  9. If you fancy a laugh, go into the FM Editor and under Tools select Free All People. Use that database and a lot of fun can be had! Everyone in the game is then a free agent, leaving you to pick up some of the world's best players for free! For instance, I started a game as Southampton on this database, and signed the likes of Theo Walcott, Miralem Pjanic, Henri Saivet, Bojan and many others...absolutely brilliant!
  10. My favourite Saints mug is Mark Wotte.
  11. Jade Goody?
  12. No, he doesn't score goals, only lets them in.
  13. I saw someone on t'internet post a screenshot having trained Cristiano Ronaldo as a striker for United, he scored something absolutely ridiculous like 58 goals in a season for them. So changing positions about can be beneficial..
  14. I hate not being able to listen to the game Is Radio Sheffield broadcasting the game? Even if it is, they probably won't let me listen for 'contractural reasons'. Bugger.
  15. Anyone got a radio link for today? I've not signed up to SaintsTV before you all start with that!
  16. Why didn't Thope-le-Saint save us from administration!? Surely if he was a real saints fan he would've put the money from his plane tickets into the club? Plastic.
  17. Le Havre is just a huge industrial town, nowt to do or see there really, unless your kids like warehouses and docks. Saint-Malo is quite a nice little seaside place, not sure if it'd be that great this time of year though. Ferry runs there from Weymouth, and IIRC it was quite cheap to go there. Oh, and there's fook all to do in Cherbourg, unless you're going on a booze cruise, in which case the Hypermarche's are worth a visit.
  18. Master Shortie - Dance Like A White Boy. One thinks this is a 'bangin choon'.
  19. I do hope he plays for the next few games, because he is one of the players in the team who can put in a quality cross. His delivery is brilliant, and while he may not be Nathan Dyer when it comes to pace, he can also outrun defenders. This is what we're lacking, some decent service (no offence Lloyd James) and a winger who runs at his markers (unlike Ryan "World Class" Smith and whichever person Wotte picks to play out of position on the other wing (Surman, BWP, Lallana...).
  20. Adam Hammill back on loan? :smt102
  21. Proof that Skacel is starting to show his age, by hitching a lift on one of the Palarse players this afternoon.
  22. Arizona - just realised the mistake! D'oh. People mix up Davis/Davies all the time on this board, guess I thought you'd done the same.. Well, can't say i've seen very much of him apart from a few pre-season friendlies over the years, and while I know that CB is a position we're short of people for, Davies doesn't really seem up to scratch. To be fair though I haven't seen him play for the first team, so perhaps give him a chance. It's another couple of hundred quid off the wage bill if he does go though, which is always useful. And Docker-P, while DMG has been pretty sh*te for most of the season, he's looked a lot better in the last few games - and he's scored a couple too. While he's not been very successful in L1 in the past goalwise (loan at Port Vale I think) from what i've seen of him recently I think he could be a good player for us at that level. And if he has a few seasons at that level, scoring goals for us, then that will help him develop as a player and hopefully be of a decent standard when we come back up to the CCC!!
  23. Davis has done absolutely nothing wrong, he's been my player of the season definately. Only thing is, would he really play for us in League 1? I doubt it. Considering his impressive form this season then there will be plenty of clubs at CCC level (or perhaps higher?) wanting his signature. Unless he wants to play at a low level for virtually nothing (which is what we could afford to pay) then I don't think we'll be able to keep him, so to get rid of him at the earliest possible opportunity and for the most money would be the better (and most probable) scenario. And as for the strike partnership, yes. I think if we do keep those two then we would need to also get in a big bruiser of a striker, like Steve Howard for Derby, who would win aerial challenges and bully defenders. A bit like Shefki Kuqi does for Palace, or Tresor Kandol for Charlton (although he's been slightly less successful..). That team will get absolutely torn apart in L1 though. Well, that is assuming we even exist next season.
  24. Keep Bialkowski Forecast Perry Thomas James Mills Lancashire Imudia (more to come from him) Holmes Gillett Thomson Gobern Smith BWP DMG McLaggon Paterson Get Rid Davis (with a heavy heart, he'll want to play at a higher level) Davies Molyneux Skacel Wotton Surman Euell Schneiderlin Pulis Saganowski Lallana White Rasiak John From the Keep section I would imagine we'd line up a bit like: ---------Bialkowski--------- James--Perry--Thomas--Mills -------Gillett--Gobern------- Thomson-------------Holmes --------BWP--DMG---------- Subs: Forecast, Imudia, Lancashire, Smith, Paterson And that is a very average L1 team, if that at all.
  25. A secks boat? Are you in the navy?
