Well, at least DJ Campbell would win us a lot more penalties. Still have the 'still not scoring from open play ffs' whinging going on though! Ideally i'd have Vokes, mainly because he is a huge Saints fan. I know that if I were to sign for Saints (highly unlikely) that i'd give 110% every game to help the team, and i'm sure he'd be the same. The lad's obviously got some talent too. McSheffrey..I think he's more of a winger than a striker, and he's left sided as well, and I think that it would be unfair to recruit another left winger who would keep players like Holmes and Mills out of the squad, who should probably be starting each week. What we need is foil for Rickie. He is a big lad, he hasn't got the mobility to be chasing the ball around, creating chances for himself. He needs someone to zip around the pitch chasing defenders, he needs somebody with a good footballing mind and he needs someone with a bit of experience under his belt. I think the perfect man for the job is Michael Mifsud tbh. He's unattached at the moment, so fitness would be a problem if we were to sign him, but surely he's worth a go? Clubs like Newcastle were interested in him, and I remember reading about him being scouted by a few lower Prem clubs a few years back when he was at Cov. Sign him up imo! Vokes, Mifsud or a combination of the two would be fantastic for us.

Can anyone see Cortese putting up with this much longer ?

Christ, everyone jump on the 'Sack The Manager' bandwagon, quick! This process is going to take TIME, which is something that people need to realise. I would be with everyone else here if we had lost as many games as say Tranmere or P*mpey, but we've been picking up points, albeit not as many as we perhaps should have. We'd be extremely lucky if AP just walked in here, built the quality of team that he has and then we started winning automatically. We're still suffering a hangover from last season, and the players that we have need confidence to start winning. Our aim this season is survival. Simple as that. Changing the manager, disrupting the harmony at the club and causing disruption in the running of the team will not help in the slightest. In fact, I think it's the last thing i'd do right now if I was NC. We need to give AP more time, don't expect miracles this season, this is the season where we adjust to the league, because this is a completely new league to our team. One look at the form table that somebody posted on the match thread (http://www.4thegame.com/football-statistics/league-one/tables/currentform.html) puts us at 15th, which is ideally the kind of position we should be finishing in this season. Don't forget we started the season on -10 points, which is going to be a kick in the teeth for any team. Today was definately disappointing, but it's completely crazy to be calling for Pardew's head already. IMO he's here for at least two seasons, and if we don't win promotion next season or at least reach a decent stage of the play-offs then I would say that we should cast our nets out again for another manager. The thing that this club has suffered from most in the past decade or so is the lack of stability in the management. So just give Pardew a chance before you condemn him ffs. -
Saints 1-1 Bristol Rovers - First Half and Half Time

Interesting, do you think AP is playing a 4-3-3 with Lallana, Lambert and Papa up front? Or maybe he's playing Lallana or Papa on the left flank.. Oh, and also, ANY RADIO LINKS!?
-
I'd be tempted to play a 4-3-3 with Saga, Lambert and Papa up front, but then that means that we'd have to compromise the midfield in order to suit the attack. If I were to play a 4-3-3 against Bristol Rovers though, i'd play something like: -----------Davis-------------- James--Jaidi--Trotter--Harding --Lallana--Hammond--Mills----- ----Papa--Lambert--Saga----- Subs: Bart/Forecast (if Bart is on loan), Perry, Schneiderlin, Holmes, Patterson, Lancashire It's a tough decision between Lallana and Schneiderlin, but I think that Lallana is a bit more hard working in the midfield, and while definately a central player, he would be more likely to attack down the flanks instead of Schneiderlin. The thing with Schneiderlin is, he is by far our best passer of the ball, and given the right training and opportunities he will be a class player, but at the moment i'd prefer to play Lallana over him.

This playlist is almost completely unrecognisable from the one that I had 'finished' about 2 months ago, almost every song in it has changed except for Angel of Death and Common People. If I could go back and make a change I would take Enter Shikari out at the end and put them more towards the beginning with a different song, because I moved The Specials to second last (they were after Nick Drake before) and didn't really give much thought to how Enter Shikari and The Specials would sound together. Nevertheless, I am happy

I think James should be given a chance. He was one of our best players last season in the CCC, and I think that he could replicate that form in L1. Remember, RB isn't his natural position either, so naturally there will be aspects of his defensive game which will need to be improved on, but i'm sure the coaches will have enough time to work on these with him.

I think Draganov has probably killed himself now.

Yeah, loving Dananananaykroyd at the moment, underrated band imo. Los Campesinos! too, I want to see them when they play at Joiners in October but I suspect that the tickets have sold out, the venue is tiny and they could realistically be playing Guildhall.

Sorry mate, was going to post it up this morning but completely forgot about it. http://open.spotify.com/user/supermikey/playlist/74FukicDBLQ1sHSipEXEsq My eternal apologies. I've tried to mix genres with the playlist, but whether it works or not I don't know. I don't try and put the most obscure music that I can find in there to look cool and edgy, these are bands that I know and love. Hopefully y'all will enjoy it. When do you want me to post the link up for my playlist Pancake?

I know, but i'm still excited to see them. Kay?

I really lost all interest after Saw IV. There doesn't seem to be any original concepts in Hollywood at the moment, just sequels, prequels and 'reboots' of older films. Having said that, I am quite hyped to see the Predator reboot, and also the Alien prequel and the Thing prequel/sequel/remake/whatever it's going to be. So basically, i've just completely contradicted myself.

I understand that Vodafone have supposedly scrapped or are scrapping roaming charges, although I still got charged about 50p for sending one text to my friend whilst I was in Kenya this summer.

Glad to have picked up 3 points, but the most important thing is to keep the momentum up. We can't go to Carlisle on tuesday and expect to beat them like people on here did today with Yeovil. Hopefully the win will inspire confidence amongst the players and we can build on what we've achieved today. From the sounds of it, Papa gave the game a little spark when he came on. Perhaps he could start and come off at half time if he's not fit enough to carry on against Carlisle, an early goal could be crucial and he certainly seems like he's an active player. Kept the linesman busy anyway!

And P*mpey are 2-0 down!
-
And P*mpey are 1-0 down against Aston Villa!

Why the EDL? Surely there are other parts of Britain that are 'affected' by this. Oh, and you won't get very far, due to freedom of speech an' that.
-
A scrappy 1-0, with a goal from Lallana.

I really don't like the fact that we are paying through the nose to keep murdering scumbags like Ian Huntley alive, living in comfortable conditions for the rest of their lives. The death penalty is something i'm in favour of, but only if there is solid evidence against the person. To kill an innocent person would be awful, and it is a huge flaw of the death penalty system. RedAndWhite91 had a great point earlier, that one bullet costs 13c, compared to £40,000, which is the average cost per year of keeping a prisoner in the UK. This is completely ridiculous. I know people will argue about human rights, but tbh, I think your human rights are out the window when you needlessly take the life of another person, or commit an equally or slightly less serious crime. £40,000 is almost twice the average age of a UK citizen, so why are we paying for people with the life penalty to live out the rest of their lives? I know it might seem barbaric to some people, but a bullet in the head would solve a lot of problems very quickly indeed.

I really couldn't give a flying f*ck about either of them. They've completely lost their dignity by selling every single menial detail of their lives to the press. Next week I expect to stroll into my local supermarket and see 'KATIE'S INGROWING TOENAIL SHOCK!!!!11111111111111" plastered across all the ladies magazines. Just to reiterate my original point, I really wouldn't care if they were both abducted by aliens, anally probed and then spatchc*cked with an electric toothbrush.

As a huge Muse fan, i'm bitterly disappointed by this album. And that's all I really have to say about it.

Thomas has been quality at RB I think, better than James would've done imo. He's a physical presence down the right side, which is what we need considering we've got Lallana and Thomson that play there. Back on topic though, i'd definately get rid of Pulis, Molyneux and Forecast. Seen all 3 of them play, they are all carp of the highest order. Pulis couldn't make a bowel movement, let alone a successful pass. Molyneux's so called free kick expertise was completely non-existant when I saw him play and Forecast flaps at anything that comes remotely near him. Although, while i'm sure we could all reel off a list of players that we'd like to see out of the club, there's no doubt that they do provide back-up for the first team. Think, if we were to suffer an injury crisis ala Everton last season, who had 1 fit striker in their team for about a month, we would need players like Pulis etc to provide cover, even if it's just to have a cameo on the subs bench to fill in the gaps.

Boyle - Good that he doesn't do the stand-up round on MTW any more, because all his material was recycled at his gigs. Funny chap. McIntyre - The unfunniest c*nt known to man. Henry - See 'McIntyre' Lock - The funniest man around. Well done to whoever said that first. Moran - A very close second. Monster is my favourite comedy show.

Streaming links aren't working then, any radio links I could listen to? I'm outside the Solent area before anyone posts the frequency for RS...
