  1. Another HCDAJFU, suggested him last year as well. Shane Cansdell-Sherriff from Shrewsbury CDDAJFU I think. He's very versatile (plays CB, LB, CM and LM) and is also only 27 so he's in the prime of his career. He'd be a better backup option than Lancashire and Martin at CB and Gobern at CM. He wouldn't be very expensive, he signed for Shrews for £300k so he'd probably be about that much. http://www.shrewsburytown.com/page/ProfilesDetail/0,,10443~19056,00.html
  2. Feisty one she is.

Just got a second opinion from the 'rents and apparently it's swollen up quite a lot, so it looks like i'm headed to the doctor's tomorrow morning then. Hooray. And I vote that Dog is the new medical mod. Very helpful and concise.

Turned 18 last month, so I guess that fits your description. I'm not overly worried about it, it's just not a very pleasant thing to have happen to you when you're at work! Might ring up the GP in the morning and see if he thinks it's worth a look anyway. Thanks guys!

    Knees

Popped my right knee out today, and although I managed to pop it back in again and I can walk on it now (although a bit gingerly) it's still pretty sore and it almost feels like it's going to pop out again when I stand up from sitting down. Obviously the soreness is to be expected, but i'm not sure about it almost coming out again. I popped my left knee out a couple of times before but not done it for about two years, and they seemed to sort themselves out without a trip to the doctor's, but they were a case of popping it back in and it was okay again. Do you reckon this is worth a trip to the doctor's? Thanks!
  6. With regards to NC I can back that up. One of my mates works at a hotel where he regularly goes for a meal, and he's been known to flare up and go nuts at the staff if something goes wrong. Most recently this was because his favourite table was taken and the staff weren't prepared to tell the people that were already on the table to clear off, at which point he promptly stormed out. *Disclaimer: This is NOT fact! Just what i've been told. (Please don't hurt me Nicola)
  7. Might organise some fans forums!
  8. Interesting - will bring in a midfield player to replace Mellis and possibly an extra one. Stock and Danns?
  9. Play-offs are our focus.
  10. Losing McCormack was a big blow Pards...oh dear!
  11. She ought to stick to the housework tbh, obviously media isn't her bag. Doesn't sound like Pards will be on anytime soon, playing a song now and then they're talking about Owen Coyle's move to Bolton. Wondering whether this interview will actually happen now..
  12. Exactly, it's not the stadium that matters as long as you fill it, it's whether people want to go or not! 11k attendances for a Premiership club nowadays is absolutely pathetic, especially for a reasonably large club such as Portsmouth with their relative success over the last couple of years (if you can call beating Cardiff in the cup final success). They could have a stadium the size of Wembley, but if only 10,000 people are going to go and watch a game then what's the point? P*mpey have been slashing their ticket prices to absurd levels for a top flight club, yet their attendances are consistently poor. Also with their loans being secured against their TV money (which is now being distributed among other clubs that P*mpey owe money too) I think they are properly in the poo.
  13. "P*mpey's stadium is not big enough" No sh*t.
  14. I think that Steven guy has special needs.
  15. Theoretically it'd work, but i'm not sure that Schneiderlin could cope with the defensive pressure. He has improved his defensive game a lot this season, but I still think Hammond would work better in that role. Hammond has much more of a box-to-box quality about him which I think could work better in a defensive midfield position. Hammond I feel is built much more like a defensive midfielder in that he has the physical strength to break up play whereas I still think that Schneiderlin is a bit fragile to be playing in an important position such as that. I'm happy to be proved wrong if Pards wants to use the team that I posted, but for now i'll leave it as it is!
  16. As much as i'd love it to happen, I can't see Stock coming here. I'm guessing if we're interested in a couple of central midfielders (rumoured interest in Scott Arfield from Falkirk as well) then it looks like we may be losing one of our own players to another club. My guess is Schneiderlin, he's obviously a class above this level and I reckon HCDAJ in the Prem, especially at a team like Arsenal where he could really show off his passing game. He's got such good vision and is technically sound, which are two of the most important attributes for a creative midfielder. If he could just add goals to his game he'd easily be Prem class imo.
  17. I doubt they'll come sniffing around L1 for a manager, I reckon they'll plump for a CCC manager. Coleman perhaps, he did a decent job at Fulham when he was manager there and set it up nicely for Hodgson to come in and take them to where they are now. I don't think Pardew would want to go either. He has the chance to build an empire here at SMS, and i'm not sure he's the type who'd just throw it away to go to a club that's looking likely for relegation now. The only way that Burnley would've stayed up this season is if Coyle had stayed, and now he's gone I think they're really in the poo unless they can pull a great managerial appointment out of the bag. Shame, because I follow Burnley's results and i've always had a soft spot for them, which intensified when they beat Reading in the play-offs and had Coyley as the manager (who was managing my 2nd team St Johnstone before).
  18. Love the look of that! ----------Davis---------- James--Jaidi--Fonte--Harding ---------Hammond---------- ------Morgan--Danns-------- Waigo----------------Lallana ---------Lambert------------ Subs: Bart, Perry, Wotton, Mills, Connolly, Antonio, Paterson That team would easily reach the play-offs this season imo.
  19. Rambo ( 2008 ) Bloody good fun. And when I say bloody, I mean bloody. Those seated in the first front rows may get wet! Loved it when it first came out, love it even more on Sky Movies at 1am. 8/10 (because anything involving Rambo gives me a raging boner)
  20. By 'Elliott' I guess you guys mean Elliot Ward right? I'm not so sure this deal will happen anymore, i'm not ITK but I just have a feeling that it'll break down. I think we'll sign a couple more players in the transfer window, we won't go mad like we did in pre-season. I'd like to see a RB come in, as well as a backup striker (not Pericard!) with a bit of pace about them. A loan until the end of the season will do.
  21. Two Door Cinema Club today.
  22. Ah, now THAT would be a signing! Arfield is a key, key player for Falkirk and he'd be brilliant for us imo. £300,000 isn't that much either considering he's still pretty young and he's an established name up there. He could win a few caps for Scotland under Craig Levein as well, because I think Dundee Utd were scouting him for some time.
  23. He doesn't need one as he's a european national. He's portugese. Personally I hope this rumour has some fact behind it, as my Palarse mate says that he's brilliant. He could certainly DAJFU.
  24. I've just found a band I quite like called My Tiger My Timing. Shocking name, but i'm quite liking the tunes! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQwenjL7otI
