This is his clip from the BBC news report. Completely astonishing how he thinks he can get away with that! http://www.bbc.co.uk/complaints/complaint/alexsalmondrbsquestion/ That's the BBC's response - although I understand the 2 part question, the report is incredibly misleading in that respect and makes it seem as if he didn't answer either part when Salmond gave a lengthy answer on corporation tax.

[video=youtube;rHmLb-RIbrM] I'm not one for BBC bashing, but this video shows up Nick Robinson quite a lot - on the 6 O'Clock News he was saying that Salmond avoided answering his question with some heavy editing, however in this raw video he clearly answers it twice over. I think some journos in this could very easily be accused of trying to report events to a certain agenda.

They've been doing that since the first day or so of pre-season. Not quite sure what it brings apart from concentration and hand/eye but it must do something!

Well that's fair enough, I think I did meet somebody off here in Jaxx at some point though...New Years? F*ck knows. You've got to be b*llocksed in there to enjoy yourself which does threaten the old memory a bit.

I actually think MBIAC and Antichrist Television Blues are the two strongest songs on Neon Bible. There's some great songs on there, but they're very powerful and well written. Nope, I would be a complete mess as well. Don't worry. I think I would have to be heavily drunk to cope, although I think I would probably end up vomiting on one of them from nerves.

FAO KRG, I stumbled across this tonight and have listened to it about 15 times on repeat: Also, my Dad revealed the other day that he works with someone who is bessie mates with Jeremy Gara and could've blagged backstage for Hyde Park if i'd asked. F*ck sake.

Can't disagree with those points, but several companies have all come out of the woodwork at the same time and announced these plans. Of course it's all linked back to the push for a No vote - politician power hasn't worked so threaten people's pensions and livelihoods instead. They're legitimate concerns, but what annoys me is the fact that "Call Me" Dave has clearly picked up the phone to some of his mates and called in a favour. The SNP has a bad reputation for bullying businesses which can't help either, but it just seems like the "establishment" (I cringed when I typed that, don't worry) are pushing people down with threats. It was always going to happen, but it's frustrating to be thwarted by that. Also, I don't think you could pay me to go to Jaxx - what a sh!thole! Don't think i've been there since about that time either. Did we meet there or something?

I work for a company that says they'd look at moving if the vote was Yes, so I know first hand that there has been analysis and scenario testing behind the scenes. However, they along with several other companies and organisations have said sweet f.a. about it for months until the last couple of days or so. We were told as employees not to comment to customers about the referendum and its implications to the company, but within the last 48 hours we've been given a line to toe if asked. It's clearly a concerted effort by the "powers that be" to scupper any attempt at independence. At this rate, it will never happen as the electorate is far too easily scared by stuff like this. *Dons tin hat*

Campaign has been nicely smeared by the Westminster leaders putting a couple of phone calls in to their mates at big companies - weird how quiet they've been for the last several months and all of a sudden they're coming out with these revelations about how expensive it will be... with inflation the way it's going our food prices are going through the roof regardless of what happens in Scotland!

I'm bald as a coot at 22, but the thought of wearing a wig never crossed my mind. But hey, as long as you're happy Sarb...

They have an association with Baltimore Eagles. And there totally is a point in that, because think how many quality players a country like India could produce further down the line with the correct coaching and investment. It also represents a great opportunity for merchandising as well. Like it or not, I think having a club over there could only be beneficial tbh. EDIT: Ok, so after a bit of Googling it turns out that Palace's feeder club in Baltimore was a failure, but US football has changed a lot in the last few years. Still worth doing.

I don't think Bearsy's watching a TV show, I think he's tripping.
-
Somebody's in it called Nicky Whelan - is she like the lovechild of Nicky Weaver and Glenn Whelan? Also Alfred Molina?! WHAT HAPPENED?!!
-
From his clips from Salzburg it looks like he's very comfortable playing on the shoulder or drifting in behind a full back to get the space required to run into. Like Jay Rod, he'll be somebody to feed the ball into the channel for - Morgan will need to step up to the plate this season with those two playing like that!
-
Bearsy, that review was so funny you made me jizz a little.
-
You're not going to bait me into spending an hour researching that you f*ck I'm just saying, Crystal f*cking Palace have a feeder club in the States so why is it so ridiculous that we do too? Especially in a blossoming market like India. It's a straightforward business decision in football at this level nowadays - merchandising is key.
-
I don't mean direct offshoots like Man City and New York, but clubs that big clubs invest in? Nearly all of the top teams do, especially ones at the level of Man Utd, Chelsea or Man City which is where our esteemed owners want to take us (apparently). City have one in Ghana, Chelsea have Vitesse and Man Utd used to send a lot of players out to Antwerp including the mighty Nick Chadwick.
-
Because big teams having feeder clubs is fairly normal now, and it's indicative of where top level football is heading. The non-league structure is nowhere near that, so for people who moan all the time about how sh!t modern football is it'll be more of a fit.
-
I'm looking at a feeder club in more of an academy sense. Help them build decent facilities, put money into coaching and the academy then sit back and wait 10 years for it to start producing good players. More of an association team than a direct offshoot like Man City have in New York. Also, if you want to support YOUR local team without all the trappings of a modern high level football team, go and support someone in Non League. That's what football is now, it's not going to go back to how it was in the 70s because some sulky teenagers kick off who weren't even alive during the period of football they hold in such high esteem. As with everything, things change. This is the norm now, and it has been for the last 15 years.
-
Football's a business Griffo. If you want to sulk off with the AMF brigade i'm sure the good folks at Totton or Sholing would be delighted with your ticket money.
-
Having a feeder team in India would be a brilliant idea imo, for a country with a population of that size the potential is absolutely huge. They're a big sporting nation too, so if they decide to adopt football as a national sport alongside cricket we could be very attractive what with the Rose Bowl being just up the road too.

Hey KRG, there's a new daddy in town - a discipline daddy. So shut your face.

He's a politican though, and they're all c*nts. You don't have to like the man to like the cause.
