Bit harsh, I think he's done ok. CB is a tough position to come into as a new player as you have to have a relationship and understanding with those around you. He's a good defender and he'll get better once he gets more comfortable to playing in our team and with our system.

I wonder when we'll see our first "Pelle is shyt" of the season...

Personally I really like Caulker as a player - people will talk about his record of late but he's played in 2 shocking teams at Cardiff and QPR which would make most players (especially defenders) look bad. I think he'll slot in nicely and develop with us, and tbh i'm not entirely sure we need another CB with Fonte, Caulker, Yoshida, Martina, Stephens, Turnbull & McCarthy in our ranks.

Every long-term game i've played on FM has usually sparked at least one or two feuds with certain managers or clubs - competitive rivalries happen. I think this is a nice feature.

Gallagher doesn't really play like a target man either. Tbh I wouldn't say that we always play with somebody in that role, when Pelle was out of the team we played with quite a fluid front 3 all playing close to each other which worked well. Don't necessarily need to sign some lump to play as 4th/5th choice striker and stop the progression of Seager and Gallagher when we can just play a slightly different style.

So somebody like Rodriguez or Long or Mane or Juanmi or Seager or Gallagher?

They have a different style of attacking play - Cedric seems to get forward on the overlap a lot more whereas Clyne preferred to cross from a deeper position. A cross whipped in at speed from the byline often looks a lot more dangerous than it actually is, equally crosses lumped in from deeper areas can look quite tame when they're actually pretty dangerous so it can be deceptive! Overall i've been impressed with what i've seen from Cedric so far though, if he replaces Clyney as seamlessly as he appears to be doing at this very early stage then full credit has to go to the scouting staff! Commentators on the stream earlier were saying how long we've been watching him for and how we knew he'd fit into the team so all that talk about getting the right characters in seems to have some credence to it..

Obviously there are always certain patterns of thought that will run through generations - you'll always have your left and right. I do happen to think that the young people in this country and across the world are more progressive compared to previous generations as they've grown up in a generally more progressive world in terms of civil rights and international relations. If you'd taken 100 people aged 18-30 in 1915 and asked them their views on gay marriage, immigration, equal rights etc and did the same with 100 youngsters in 2015 I think you'd find a difference in the general consensus because the consensus of society at the time was different. The world's getting smaller and I think we're learning not to be so scared of everyone outside our own cultural group as we have been previously.

I've travelled with Nick many times, would totally recommend his company. Looks excellent value for money as well considering you'd pay about that much for a hotel room anyway.
