This is a catchy little number! I'm still not sure who won though..

Post-Match Reaction: Queens Park Rangers 0-1 SAINTS
SuperMikey replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Very lucky to get the win there, poor performance all round today. Mane and Davis about the only 2 players that I can say played well tbh! As for the disallowed goal, it seemed to me that Forster had two hands on the ball and Onuoha knocked it out of his hands. There'll be some irate QPR fans tonight though.. -
Looked to me like Forster had two hands on the ball and Onuoha knocked it out of his hands there. Will have to watch it again, but f*ck me that was lucky!
-
That did make me chuckle! Side by side you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two of them
-
That was a good move, Elia bringing Onuoha forward and then getting in behind him from Pelle's flick. That's going to be key for us today, just need to get Mane up against Hill more on the right.
-
The commentator on my stream has managed to mis-identify all of the black players in our squad apart from Clyne so far.. Anyway, Mane looks very lively. Giving their centre backs a run-around!
-
Gardos coming on, wonder if we'll go 3-5-2?
-
That really doesn't look good for Targett, he was out cold for 10 seconds before the physio got to him...hope the lad's ok.
-
That's one thing that Poch ensures with all his extra fitness training, the players keep working hard and running up until the 90th minute. Got to say Kane was completely anonymous in the first half, but a few tweaks at HT and he's shown what a threat he can be in front of goal.

Just watched Whiplash. Sorry Birdman, but that was hands down my favourite film of 2014. Unbelievable!
-
I like Hot Chip.
-
Great news! Wasn't sure about Ryan when he initially joined because he's had a fairly patchy record with other teams but he's shown what a good player he can be in his time with us so far. With Targett coming through as well it looks like we have our LB slot sorted for years to come!

Just watched Pride, the story of a Lesbian & Gay group deciding to support the Miners during the strike in 84. Absolutely loved it - not only does it carry a good political message about breaking social boundaries and coming together for a common cause, it's f*cking hilarious too! Aside from a few dodgy Welsh accents the performances are excellent, especially Imelda Staunton and Bill Nighy. I hate the phrase "feel-good film" but I can't really think of a better word for it. If you fancy feeling right on but not being too serious while you're doing it, I definitely recommend this film.

He's had a couple of operations on his knee, so I would assume it's something with that. Don't think it's been officially clarified but tbf the lad's had a tough year with his Dad passing so I don't think we'd put too much pressure on him.

I didn't watch the game today, just going on what i've seen previously. Pelle isn't the most mobile striker so he's not absolved of blame for not getting on the end of things but it's an area we were so strong on at the start of the season I just wonder what's happened with it..
-
Don't have my doubts about Mane and what he gives to the team, but he doesn't seem like the kind of player that will provide many assists like Tadic did earlier in the season and how JWP has been recently. I just wonder if Tadic continues to have a dry spell whether we'll be as dangerous as a unit up top.

22 years old and this album is still better than any rapper's produced since.
-
One thing is evident, we've missed Morgan and Vic so much in the middle of the park recently providing that extra bit of stability at the back. When they're back, we'll be back to our old selves. Tadic worries me though - Pelle gets stick for not scoring enough but the service he's been getting from wide recently has been appalling. I don't think Elia or Mane are the type to provide for others, more like JayRod looking to play on the shoulder and get in behind. Tadic needs to up his game if we're to get firing on all cylinders again.
-
I listened to the game on the radio, the taters made it sound like a red but it doesn't look so bad having seen it. Yes he went over the top of the ball, but when he actually makes the challenge his right foot is planted - seems that he's only off the ground after he makes contact with the ball and then Barrow comes through and takes him off his feet. I'm not sure he's entirely in control of the challenge but it doesn't seem particularly malicious and I think we've probably got a good chance of getting it rescinded. It's a yellow, but straight red? No chance.

Posted this guy tonnes of times in this thread already, but this is a cut off his new album. He's teamed up with Blacksmith (who I have never heard of) to make more of a collective album than it just being Dan and a guitar. There's a lot of quite atmospheric, downbeat stuff on the album but this is the lead single - pretty catchy and fun.

I'm sorry Phil, I love you really. Essentially though your post was "I spoke to some people who work for Sky and they know as little as we do about it". Have a hug xxx
-
Wait, do you play golf Phil? That's amazing! Ever met anyone famous doing it? I saw Tanita Tikeram at a Pitch'n'Putt in Woking once but she was eating a 99 so I thought i'd leave her be.

A'ight. First of all it's SNEIJDER. Secondly he doesn't fit the profile of any of our transfer targets (30+, huge wages, not very versatile). Lastly, didn't Koeman deny he was interested a few months ago? Would rather keep Cork than have to replace him but I can understand why he'd want to go and play first team at Swansea. Would be a shame to see him go.
