I think the intention behind that interview was to try and patch up some of the ill feeling towards him - how spectacularly that's backfired. Not taking anything away from him as a player during his time with us, he was truly superb and one of the main reasons why we are where we are today. However, that still doesn't change the fact that the way he left the club was appalling (although he does now acknowledge that) and some of the quotes in that article really do illustrate that the bloke doesn't have a clue. "I'll take the boos and jeers as a sign that the fans are missing me playing there" - no, take it as a sign that we think you're a c*nt.

Seen Foos 3 or 4 times before, they're very good live. Not sure if i'll be catching them this time around though, it depends on who's playing at the same time. You can guarantee they'll put on a good show though! Have a great back catalogue to work through.

Brum have a great academy, they must have some good players coming through that we can nab to help them repay their debts. Even Demarai Gray in their first team looks a good little player, Bompey have been after him all year so it would give me double pleasure to save Brum and beat Bompey at the same time!

He's clearly a very good player, and I think in our system he could pose a threat. We've seen how dangerous Mane has looked when he's been given licence to run at defenders, and Jay Rod did that time and time again last year to good effect. Jay and Mane either side of Pelle could be worthy. Of course, if he doesn't want to be here then we can give him some game time towards the end of the season to hopefully change his mind, and if not we can hopefully capitalise on interest in him in the summer. I'd love to keep him, but as others have said he would've signed the contract by now if he had any intention of staying here longer than it takes for a bigger club to come in for him.

I think the mentality of those in charge at the club is a positive one, and that we'll always strive to be better. We'll definitely be aiming for 3rd or 4th and I think we have a great chance if we can find a bit of form again, but I would take 5th or 6th if our season fizzles out.

I hope he gets both barrels tbh, the way he left and what he said was completely disrespectful and he's done nothing to atone for that. Maybe an own goal or two might help his cause, although I think Lovren has a better chance of doing that for us..

Same here in Edinburgh, was speaking to a Policeman on NYE and he told me the same. Said that there are enough beds but that some prefer sleeping rough on the street, as long as the coppers know them and know roughly where they're sleeping they let them be. From what I saw tonight we did everything except put the ball in the back of the net. As soon as West Ham went down to 10 men they put everyone behind the ball and held on for the point, which made it really difficult for us to get enough room in and around the box to get something clear-cut to put away. Not a bad performance but in front of goal we're f*cking clueless at the moment. Not sure if it's a formation change needed or what, but something has to give. To be fair to the lads though, as soon as Wet Sham had their goalie sent off they parked all their players behind the ball so it was difficult for us to get anything too clear-cut.
