Adkins on SSN this morning talking Saints and UCL/PL title
SuperMikey replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Absolutely love Nigel, always going to have a place in my heart for what he achieved with us. Would love to see him take over at a stable club and bring them up like he did with us - looking like Wigan will go down atm so they may bring him in if Mackay gets sacked/resigns. -
Great result! Looks like we're getting back to our previous form after a dip which can only be a good thing!

Nutshell. Very capable player, hasn't had the opportunity to play as a lone striker yet. Could take it today.

B-anter was like a halfway house between S4E and reality. Bless 'em.

First place I saw tubgirl.. Dune PMed me one time and asked me to come over and post on b-anter, but when I signed up it turned out I was mostly a tactic to divert hate away from himself because most of his posts were followed by people calling him a c*nt

Ah, the good old days. I started posting on S4E when I was 12 or 13 - Banter Central taught me a lot. Was it Banter Central on S4E?

Not going too bad, just working a lot. This weekend I will mostly be doing my washing and watching Saints lose. And working. My life is basically like Leo di Caprio in the Great Gatsby.

I got really confused and sad reading through this last page - I was wondering what i'd done Me and KRG are besties so I would never say anything bad about him. Can I join in the festivities on this thread pls?

I will always maintain that the best person for the job is the best person for the job, irregardless of nationality, race etc. We live in a multicultural nation in a global economy, and that won't change. Putting into effect some kind of positive discrimimation rule to put British workers to the front of the queue is just a placation and something that businesses won't settle for. If Farage and UKIP want to stop British workers being undercut, they need to look at the employers that are doing it by hiring foreign workers on obscenely low wages and making them work ridiculous hours that British workers can't compete with. It's not the fault of the person applying for the job that they're willing to work longer for less, there should be adequate regulations in place to stop that even being an option for the employer in question, which should put applicants on a level playing field.

Makes sense, obviously the ideal situation is if Toby signs for us but i'm not 100% confident in that happening. Would be a decent signing but yeah, we can definitely do better.

http://www.theguardian.com/politics/ng-interactive/2015/feb/27/guardian-poll-projection So with voter intentions at the moment it looks like the only way that we could get a majority is with a Labour/SNP/Lib-Dem coalition. Potential for a real swing with the debates, so why is Cameron so hesitant to get involved when it can potentially help him secure his party's victory - something that's looking more and more unlikely.
-
He's not been impressive at QPR at all, but then again he is being partnered by either Richard Dunne or Rio Ferdinand...could be a similar situation to Lovren where he'll play better with the right partner. Still, would consider him though.

Certainly would've improved my childhood..

Agree to an extent, as he's not been particularly good so far. However, he was fantastic against Newcastle and has shown glimpses of what he can do in other games as well, although I agree that he's not been consistent enough. Saying that, he has had a rough time in the last couple of years and clearly Ron thinks he's a good player given that he's started most games. Maybe if he was to move here permanently and settle in more, we'll see more consistency and confidence from the guy. Either way, his experience is definitely valuable to have in the squad anyway.
-
Good signing for the right price, which shouldn't be a problem as QPR will be on a major cost-cutting exercise in the summer. Maybe look at Caulker and McCarthy too? Maybe a slight question mark over Austin's attitude but he'd certainly be a very valuable addition to our squad.

To be fair to the lad, the first one is actually "I see, I want, I grind, I get". Plus if you look at any teenage lad's instagram/twitter nowadays you'll see awful f*cking pictures of slogans like that.
-
They're going to learn what the word f*ck means sooner or later, might as well hear it from some crusty buskers outside Primark so they know there's a negative connotation to it..
-
But on the bright side it'll take you longer to get back to Basingstoke after the game, so there's a silver lining to that cloud

Definite echoes of The National on the album, really good stuff. Will have to give the previous album a go as well.
-
First album i've listened to in a long time that I just haven't been able to switch off. Listened to it all the way through 3 times in the last 24 hours!

Very much looking forward to seeing them get severely tonked in the next few games. Van Gaal will lose the plot more and more as we sneak up on the blindside..

Interested in Hernandez according to the Mirror

Kinda like edamame then. *High fives all middle-class people that get the joke* -
Jeff, since you mentioned them i'm keen to know - what is your favourite kind of biscuit? Do you prefer a classic Bourbon? Or maybe something slightly more jazzy like a pistachio cookie? Please get back to me ASAP. Regards, SuperMikey
