A complete over reaction. Let's keep a tribute like this to All Saints Day - and explain to people that this is what we are doing.
-
Yes it did. The Ruddock fee was set by tribunal. Apparently a tribunal takes into account the amount of wages that the buying club are prepared to pay so as to get an idea of how they value their new player. Spurs told porkies about the size of Ruddock's wages - which led to us getting a lower fee.

Question for the Negative-Thinkers after the Colchester result
ST Randy replied to dune's topic in The Saints
They have to go & do their laundry. It is not easy having all those wet bed sheets. -
Do any of them write on here?? Is Alpine Saint really Rickie Lambert ?? I hope not!!
-
He will not be seen or heard again on this forum. If you want to know why look at post 36357 on page 728. Even Corpy is not thick enough to continue to post on here after he was destroyed in that post.

There is nothing wrong with the atmosphere at SMS. What made me laugh yesterday was the Swindon fans. "Only sing when you're winning" // "your support is F******* S****""// "Swindon till I die" etc etc. When they scored they celebrated as if they had won the League, Then with 5 minutes to go I looked up & realised that most of them had gone. I know that some of our fans leave a little early but I do not think I have seen the away end empty that quickly before the end. Presumably in future they will sing "I am Swindon till we go 2 goals down when I will P888 off home"

I agree entirely with your views on the bed wetters. They really seem to glorify whenever things are not going entirely our way. Why should they not be banned during matches from posting?? Forget this no names - no pack drill.Saint Lard managed 4 posts on the match chat thread in the 5 minutes between their equaliser and our second. Their tone was all negative. His last post today was at 4.57. He clearly could not post if there is only good news. There is clearly little point in staying on the board and celebrating a victory if you live in a negative world. I wonder if he would have stayed on the board if we had lost??

Hopefully the drama queens will all be asleep npw and we can get a grip on last night's results. Of course it would have been nice to have won. I wanted us to win. But remember that Brighton lost at Hartlepool. Charlton lost there last week. Huddersfield are playing there next week so lets see how they get on. We got a point last night. So did Bompey - at home to a team they should have beaten. So did Huddersfield - at a ground where they should have got 3 points (we did). Peterborough drew at home last night - as did MK Dons. Brighton were the only one of our rivals to have won - and they were at home against the bottom club!! It was a good night for us . It could have been better .... but it could have been a whole lot worse.

Look at post 36357 on page 728. I very much doubt that we will ever hear from him again after that post. If he does appear on here again, just quote that thread back to him & watch him squirm.. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/images/smilies/smile.gif

According to the BBC Ceefax website, Saville is off on loan to Stockport. If this is what you are refering to Leftback, then I am disappointed. I expect better info than that from you. Lets have some real exclusives.

I was thinking exactly the same re Charlie Austin. Swindon's season last year looks like a flash in the pan now and Austin is far too good to languish in the depths of this division.
-
Now now. You were debating so nicely a couple of hours ago. The error of your ways, the flaw in your logic gets pointed out and now the figures are "guessed at" and you storm off in a huff. Mind you, I suppose that you get a better level of debate on this forum than you get with your fishy mates on Pompey On Line.

I haven't got very far looking for Corpse's comments about Argentinians. This one from last week was a real classic .

So you happily knock a couple of million off the wages, add a few million onto the turnover (the Carling Cup games that you played had a total attendance of 20,000 so you would have been pushed to have made £100k out of that lot !!) come up with a wages / turnover ratio of 110% ..... and then declare yourself happy!!! Unbelievable. A Wages / Turnover ratio of more than 70% is normally considered to be pushing it. 110% is guaranteed to end in tears. 50

I take it you haven't seen Harding's reactions when a decision goes against him

I take Corp Ho seriously. He always tells the truth ;-)

How many fingers did he have???

Speakers Corner on sundays (Hyde Park opposite Marble Arch) is great for a laugh. Some of the speakers there would do well on the Saints Web!! Great Chinese food (tasty and cheap) in Soho near Leicester Square.

If your a season ticket holder do you get any money off the hospitality offer? Because I don't really want to pay twice for a match
