    Odds for manager

Zola - No I don't; that's why I didn't say such a thing. Shearer - Yes it would. Winning things would have made him more of a winner in my eyes. I am being pedantic but I really think he would be an awful manager. Where the supposed desire to succeed as a manager comes from I don't know. Is he spending his time learning his trade? Or spending his time on the couch with Gary and Alan? Never saw Roy Keane cropping up on MOTD after between jobs.

    Odds for manager

Brown - The Hull players who were premier league players because of him. Zola - Why you'd prefer him to a man who has experience in getting teams promoted is beyond me. If he was thrown in at the deep end at Wham what's the Saints job going to be like? Shearer - Took five points from twenty four as manager of Newcastle while introducing a superb wing back system. His only victory came against also relegated Boro. How is he a winner? He is no more a winner than the other members of the Blackburn squad from that year; shall we appoint Colin Hendry, David Batty and Jason Wilcox as staff?
  5. It is strange just how sad this has made me; I never met the guy but I have been genuinely glum all day. He seemed like one of those chaps that you just knew was a cracker. I would have loved to a sat down and enjoyed a big dinner with him. I'm off to the ground on Saturday to sign the book; I dare say it will be the first time the Mrs will see me cry RIP Marcus.
  6. Like my Austin Metro; wouldn't want that back either.
  7. Really? Never mind the goal against Derby? Forget that he played for Portsmouth, I love the guy just for that. Thinking about those goal celebrations is the only way I get wood nowadays. Agree with you completely. He had a decent game that night (even Makin didn't play bad that night) plus he laid on a sitter for Skacel (I think?) near the end with a decent bit of play; it could have been so different for Leon and the super saints had Rudi been about two inches taller
  8. I still like DMG and think he got given a tough time for no real reason, sometimes last season I thought he was head and shoulders above everybody else in our team. He was playing in a crap team too; Lambert might be better but I'd rather have Mcgoldrick in the team than Waigo/Barnard/Connolly. One only has to look at what the drop in division has done for Lallana, if Mcgoldrick had stayed I'm sure he'd be knocking them in League One. I will always love him for the last minute at Deepdale last season, one of the finest moments of my time following the Saints. We went ****ing mental
  9. One against Wolves, one against Cardiff. Both against Dave Jones.
  10. Superb! Name one manager in any division in the world who hasn't had a couple of bad performances against his name this season. I know Wenger had a decent spell a couple of years back but if that is what you're aspiring to you will never really take a lot of joy from football. There will always be room for improvement, suck it up and enjoy.
  11. You don't play as many top flight games as Bob Savage without having fabulous hair.
  12. We were discussing my point not yours. I made the point, you disagreed. PS, I haven't been harbouring under any illusions.
  13. Has Paul Mcshane played as many top flight games as Bob Savage or have you pulled the Saint_clark special and missed the point?

    Without the -10

    Dave Mcgoldrick?
  15. Cripes! We've being saying for ages we're being persecuted and now even the muzzies agree with us!
  16. Awful players simply do not knock up as many top flight appearances as he has.
  17. When kids are involved and you can't tell I always think it is better to be safe than sorry. Why take a risk when he could grow up, hit puberty, and grow a beard at any stage? PS, you're a ****ing moron. Again, better to be cautious and blow the living **** out of anybody carrying anything which looks like it might be a weapon. It's only a bloke after all.

    Pppppp

I'm not one to comment on bull**** posts started by primate level posters but here goes.
  19. I am a fully functioning adult male. On Sunday I got up, tied my own shoe laces and drove myself to London without crashing once! While there I heard some people booing as Cortese was shown on the big screen. Unfortunately I am so monumentally thick that I am unable to decide for myself whether or not people were booing him or booing many of the other things going on around me. There were lots of balloons and shiny things after all so I was easily distracted. Thank goodness for the internet and people prepared to tell me what was happening around me. What great guys.
  20. I wouldn't ordinarily stick up for big stupid delldays but on this occasion he is right, there was a fair bit of booing going on around me when he came on the screen. I hope it was people getting wires crossed or something, was lame to the max. The booing I heard happened before kick off, waaaaaaaaaaay before Mexican waves got going. Mark it in your diary; 28th March 2010, delldays was right about something.
  21. Baaaaaaaaazzzzzzzzzzing!
  22. She has, but it was at my house.
  23. Absolutely not you disgusting pig. You make me sick.
  24. It might be because it rhymes?
