Great stuff, and I will do. Thanks very much! Have to confess my Polish football knowledge isn't up to much, so I had missed those completely.

Great stuff, really helpful. Thank you both! Visited Warsaw last summer, favourite city in Europe. Hoping to take in the Artur Boruc display at the Polish Army Stadium this time.

Hi guys! I'm heading over to lovely Warsaw in a couple of weeks, and will be there when we play Villa. Do any Polish Saints know if local bars are likely to show the game? Is Warsaw a hive of Saints followers that I can bump into?

If for some reason you end up with a spare ticket after all this, let me know. Looking for one for my friend who originally couldn't make it, but now can. Otherwise, anyone else with a spare ticket that can hook a brother up?

Dudes. I am going to be just down the road tomorrow night. Is it worth going? Will we be putting out a decent team? How much is it to get in? I'll bring the sandwiches, you bring the flares. Be there, or be square.

It's not that I disagree with you, but using that logic if some dip**** went and paid £100k for a Ford Fiesta, my Golf turns into an Aston Martin.

On it, thanks for that. Yo da' man!

Not sure if this is the correct forum but... Recently moved back to sunny sunny Hampshire, and looking to get back in to playing Sunday League after a few years away. Found a team who play on Saturdays, but that means missing quite a bit of Saints and I have no intention of not renewing my season ticket. Can any of you cool dudes recommend a team/league/contact/website where I might find a team looking for players? I've tried google and all that jazz, but with no joy. Any help would be super duper.

Didn't he set up Lambert's goal away at Wigan?

Friend of mine has had to drop out due to last minute better offer. Can't PM as I'm not a member, anyone who wants it send me an email jumpingjackash@gmail.com Face value.

**** the haters man! You did a decent job, fair play to you.

To be fair, due to the manner of the managerial change it has to get assessed in the short term, which will end up being on a result-to-result basis. We won't be able to judge his results after ten season. MP is going to have under half a season, if we go down it will prove to have been a bad decision. For me, and I've always said this even after the Man City game, sacking Adkins when we did was high risk. We had half a season of Nige' learning the Prem, now we're likely to get half a season of MP learning the Prem (and the squad). In terms of the game, I was feeling very dejected after the result. The thing that annoyed me the most is how only JRod tested Julio Cesar when he was struggling with injury. He could barely move, we should have been pinging them in from range and following them up, but we were knocking it around on the edge of the area. I thought Fonte, Schneiderlin, Rodriguez and Boruc were the only players to come out of the game with any credit (but not much). Onwards and upwards.

Lol. They should just arrest everybody then, for fear that they go on to hurt someone. Following football is not a crime. These bus trips are bull****.
-
It does. Watched Reading away there last season on a tiddly screen while some German TV crew shot a documentary in front of us. No sound either. Rubbish.

The straw that broke the camel's back.

Gutted about Nige', but not overly shocked. Such is the way with modern football. Will be a pretty good day for him; he's come out of it a few quid heavier and no longer has Cortese as his boss. He'll be in work before the end of the season, and I'd wager he'll be managing at a level higher than 15th in the Prem before too long. Not being overly dramatic but, today has helped snap me out of it, I can't be doing with it any more and I won't be bothering to renew my season ticket. I've been thinking it since we got promoted, following the Saints just isn't much fun any more. No point moaning about football and paying £600 for 19 days out. I'll stick with non-league next year. You might not get to see the likes of Wilshere and Wellbeck, but it's loads more fun. Don't congratulate yourself too much, it's not that ****ing clever. Lol.

Apart from driving of course.

3x11=33 Is Lambert undroppable now? I love him, and think he'll be great for us this year, but all players have off days and today was one of those. It was worth changing it up. You have something stuck under your full stop button.
-
Don't know why, but he was let back in after the stewards admitted making a mistake.
-
Not sure if you're being sarcastic, or if you've sincerely taken offence at him supporting a team. If you were a pro playing for Brighton, or anybody, would it stop Saints being your team?
-
**** yeah! Send him back! Those ten minutes and two touches were enough for me to make up my mind. He's no good! Silly silly silly. Amen brother.
-
The night he was conceived I predicted that he would go on to be the best footballer in the world evereverever. I think I win.

The "Why have we signed him" transfer that proved you wrong
Ash replied to fareham saint phil's topic in The Saints
You thought he might be good, but wondered why we'd signed him? -
This issue, like music, is entirely subjective. Don't get so excited because your opinion is not also held by the majority of people, enjoy it. You are special. Get a grip man. It's a bit of PR fluff to boost the profile of the league's around the anniversary, not a ****ing general election.
