  1. Ok, lets make this clear. MB is on about the guy that he has circled on the image above. I'm on about the guy on the front row, sitting to the left of the lady.
  2. Maybe we'll have to try and find out both to see if we're on to anything!
  3. Exactly. Front row, third from the left, on the ladies left.
  4. That's the guy! It's the chap on the ladies left that is always at the games. (not Wotte ) He's present at every home game and I often see him chatting to Wotte, Lowe and Wilde etc. Now we need some investigative people to find out who this guy is and see if there's anything in this!
  5. All the more impressive when you consider who we had to play in our last 5 games.
  6. There is this one chap that sits in the Directors Box alongside Wotte every home game. I often wonder who he is and what he does but have never managed to figure it out. If someone managed to post a picture of this supposed 'football advisor' then I may just be able to put a name to a face.

To be fair I thought he had a solid home debut. He won the majority of his headers and wasn't afraid to get stuck in. Could form a decent partnership with Perry and I also think someone like Lancashire would benefit from playing alongside him.
  8. Not a bad 11 starting to take shape here. Need some full-backs though! Suggestions? ------------------- Wright ----------------- ??? -------- Davies ------- Dailly -------- ??? Belmadi --- Redknapp --- Guthrie --- Berkovic ----------- Rasiak ---- Saganowski ---------- EDIT - looks like Belmadi wasn't a loan as has been mentioned on an earlier post.
  9. Nothing to do with Lowe et al. I'm on about if the likes of Surman and Lallana asked to leave. What with all the antics going on at our club, could you blame them if they wanted out and asked for a transfer? Interested to hear people's thoughts.
  10. Surely Richard Wright will be in goal? Danny Guthrie in midfield too IMO. Who else is there?
  11. I've accepted the fact that we'll be in League 1 next season. Not because it will be easier to take when it is confirmed, but because I genuinely can't see us surviving if we continue as we are. This is my lowest point as a Saints fan without question.
  12. I have a feeling Poortvliet may eventually resign. He strikes me as a real people person and if people turn against him then he may end up walking. Don't get me wrong, he comes across as a decent, down-to-earth guy but whether he's up to the task is another thing. Time will tell I guess.
  13. There was a big bust-up after the Burnley match which resulted in Wotton being left out of the team. Wotton had some very choice words for the coaching staff! Only in the last couple of matches has he been involved again after his loan move to Brighton fell through. There's no dressing room revolt just yet, but the players aren't overly amused by all the goings on at the minute.
  14. He'll be our main midfielder next season in League 1 . . .
  15. As Benitez would say, "we're talking about FACTS!"
  16. Would be a massive blow to lose Kelvin. Having said that, his contract is up in the summer and I wouldn't be surprised if the board considered any offer very seriously. If we were to lose Davis then that would be it for us this season IMO. He's been our best player by a country mile and losing him would be hard to take.
  17. They just mentioned that on Football First on Sky Sports 1. Good times.
  18. Realistically we wouldn't get any of the above as a) they would no doubt cost too much, b) Poortvliet isn't going to resign and c) nobody is going to want to work under Lowe/Wilde are they? Ignoring that however, I'd like to see Boothroyd given a go. He'd get us working hard and fighting for our lives in my opinion. Wouldn't mind Ince either although I feel we could do with a little more experience at this moment in time.
  19. Have to admit, I've never felt this concerned/gutted/low about Saints in my life. Like I said in another post, our problems go much deeper than the 11 players on the pitch. Seeing fans fighting amongst themselves really hit home today and made me realise how much of a division Lowe creates at our club. I fear for our future big time, but unfortunately I can't see anything changing. Where are we meant to go from here as a club? It's a question I have no answer to, other than down towards League 1. Bad times.
  20. I didn't think he started off too well but came into the game as it went on. Not a bad debut and a tad harsh to criticise him after only his 2nd performance. I think he'll improve with games anyway. Lets give the lad a chance.
  21. Just have 2 quick points I'd like to make . . . First off, why did Poortvliet play Holmes out wide right and BWP wide left? There was just no balance and both players kept wanting to cut inside on their stronger foot. The Donny defenders were quick to work this out and suitably doubled up on Holmes and BWP, resulting in the majority of our attacks coming to nothing. There was no real width and I was of the impression that width plays a MAJOR part to this 'Dutch' formation if it's to be a success? Secondly, I find it very frustrating that Poortvliet didn't make his tactical instructions clear to the players when switching to 3 at the back. When he sent on Lallana and Smith, he should have made it clear to all the players that he was changing formation and everyone should have known what was being asked of them. It took the lads a good few minutes before they knew what was going on and where they were being asked to play. Why is this? Surely this is basic stuff? Being unorganised like this could quite easily result in conceeding and would be unforgivable IMO. Anyway, rant over. Thoughts?
  22. I'll tell you what can be done . . . Go back to basics! We need to revert to a 4-4-2 and play it simple. Get the experienced heads in to get us out of this mess. We need a strong spine to the side and build the youngsters around it. As a club, we're only heading one way if we continue in this manor. ------------------- Davis ---------------- James ------ Saiejs ----- Perry ----- Molyneux Lallana ---- Wotton ---- Surman ---- Holmes ---------- Saganowski -- Euell ------------ Subs Bialkowski/Forecast, Lancashire, Schneiderlin, Smith, McGoldrick
  23. Today has really hit home for me. Our problems go much deeper than the 11 players on the pitch. Seeing fans fighting amongst themselves just shows how bad a state we find our once great club in. Somehow, someway, we need a fresh start, a new lease of life and a major change of fortunes on the pitch.
  24. League 1 beckons unfortunately. I'm normally one of the more positive fans but unless major changes happen there we're only going one way. I'm not even one of Lowe's critics as such, but whilst he's at the helm, we will never be united and we will never move forward as a club. Today's result is a real blow to our survival chances. Absolutely gutted. Never felt this low about Saints in my life.
  25. . . . allowing Saints to bring in Lupoli?
