  1. Lowe was definitely there, I assure you. Surprisingly, he looked genuinely concerned at the final whistle too. No Wilde however.
  2. I don't blame Wotte. He's taken on an almost impossible task and jumped aboard a sinking ship. He's only had 3 games and in fairness there has been an improvement, if only a slight one. Having said that, I would prefer a manager who commands respect, demands passion and is a good leader. I hear that the Leicester manager is quite good . . .
  3. I'd probably follow an average London based team like Fulham. I use the word 'follow' as I don't think I'd ever be able to 'support' another team. God forbid if we did go out of existence. Would be a sad, sad day.
  4. I don't think it's fair to criticise Svensson one bit. The majority of fans can see that he was brought in to appease the fans. IF he is having any input, then we have a bit of hope as you can guarantee he would do what he thought was best for SFC.
  5. It really bugs me when the manager, sorry head coach, insists that we've been unlucky. There is nothing unlucky about winning one game at home all season, it just shows that we're simply not good enough.
  6. For what it's worth, Lowe looked genuinely concerned after our defeat tonight. Surprising I know.
  7. I just don't know what to say really. Absolutely gutted.
  8. Anthony Pulis was out warming-up with the players before the Swansea game. At first, I just assumed he'd made the bench but clearly not. Wotte called him over whilst the players were warming-up, gave him some instructions and then he went down the tunnel. He didn't appear again after that though. Was all a bit odd really. Did anyone else see this too?

    Chris Gunter

Well things can change very quickly it would seem. I've just had a call saying we've dropped our interest in Gunter but haven't heard why. I can only assume it's to do with the wages. Seems this one was over before it ever begun! Maybe we'll look to sign a RB on loan over the coming weeks though? Here's hoping!
  11. As I've mentioned on another thread, I'm hearing that we're supposedly trying to bring Chris Gunter in on loan until the end of the season. Any deal is dependant on Spurs agreeing to pay a large percentage of his wages so it's unlikely if we're being honest! Still, good to see the management realise that RB is a position where we need to strengthen.

Ooh missed that. Maybe Preston are our competition then? Would be a decent signing IMO. We've been crying out for a proper RB for ages now.

Have heard that we are looking at trying to get Chris Gunter on loan until the end of the season, but there is interest from elsewhere. Any deal would be dependant on Spurs agreeing to pay a large percentage of his wages though, so don't hold your breath. We'll have to wait and see. At least it shows the management are looking at the RB position I suppose.
  14. Possibly Jonas Wallerstedt coming in. Wouldn't be surprised to see Dyer leave for Swansea either. Hopefully we'll hold on to the likes of Surman, Davis and Lallana though.
  15. The one that MIGHT be coming in doesn't happen to be an experienced Swedish striker does it?
  16. This has since been changed after we agreed an extension to our sponsorship with FlyBe. The home shirt will be the same for next season too, but the flint away shirt will change.
  17. Would much rather have the tried and tested Saga over Lupoli.
  18. Agreed. LOWE OUT!
  19. ------------------ Davis ------------------ James ----- Saeijs ----- Perry ----- Surman Dyer ---- Schneiderlin ---- Euell ---- Skacel -------- Saganowski ----- Rasiak ---------- Not a bad team on paper if we got back some of our loan players for next season. If only someone with a bit of money would take us over . . .
  20. Maybe Wotte is talking up Dyer's ability in the press to try and force Swansea into increasing their offer? Or maybe Wotte genuinely is a fan and plans to use him next season, providing we stay in the division of course! As for Skacel, it would seem he wants someone to sign him on a permanent basis with a decent contract too. Doesn't look as though anyone is willing to offer him that though. If he doesn't leave, I hope he gets his head right and gets back in the side. We could certainly do with him at either LB or LM.
  21. Ha! Nothing like saying I told you so ay NickG? Still, as you've said there's 2 hours to go yet so we'll wait and see . . .
  22. Touted as the next Messi, then moved to Spurs, struggled to get in their team and now finds himself on the verge of a move to Pompey. The rise and fall of Dos Santos!
  23. If another club attempts to sign Dyer then it will only push his transfer fee up; a good thing for us of course! I'm expecting Dyer to leave today and in truth it makes sense. He never reached his potential here and could be seen as a disruptive influence. It looks as though Martinez is starting to get the best out of him and the player himself is keen to leave. No doubt the bank would be happy if we manage to get a half decent transfer fee too and based on what I've seen of Kayne McLaggon thus far, he could be just as good as Dyer in the future!
  24. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonas_Wallerstedt Known for his aerial ability if you trust what you read on Wiki. Sounds like what we need in truth!
  25. Yes we can! See what I did there?
