  1. Wow, what a nut job!
  2. Unfortunately, Poyet winning manager of the month last month didn't affect Brighton at all so I wouldn't expect it to this month.
  3. It would be excellent!
  4. We need to be getting a top quality striker in the January window, I think we're ok for the time being over the next couple of months but some like a Graham Alexander from Watford would be good. Get another top quality striker in, sign up Chappers on a permenant and we'll have pretty much a complete squad that can win this league.
  5. I'm happy to be playing only in the league and the fa cup. Luckily we're out of the paint and the carling cups as they are the proper distractions but doing well in the FA cup gives the players a proper boost, we'll only get into about the 3rd round anyway and then we all hope to get a prem team and if we lose it's only a few matches we've been in and if we win it's an Excellent win! Contrary to what other people think I still love the FA cup.
  6. Means nowt as it's for October, in october we won 4 and lost 1 and I think Brighton won 4 and drew 1. Either way, at the end of October Brighton were top of the form table I'm sure. Surely Poyet winning last month and carrying on brilliantly to be nominated again this month dispels the rubbish myth about teams underperforming after the manager wins the monthly prize.
  7. Excellent, gives us 3 centre mids to fight out for the 2 places, keeping all three of them on their toes. I really hope we sign Chappers permenantly in Jan. Would would have virtually a full decent squad then.
  8. Enjoyed yesterdays game. Always nice to win, taken the nipper to about 5 games now and we've won every single one of them, lucky talisman! Stand outs for me last night were: Chamberlain, his first goal was really an own goal, I was sat in itchen north and saw it, not sure if it would've dipped in but I don't want to take it off the lad. His second goal looked like a cross to me, again I was directly behind it, but I think it was a sort of cross cum shot where he knew the keeper would be off his line, chancing his luck. It wasn't only the goals though, every time he had the ball he looked dangerous and ran the full backs ragged, more so when he was down the right. Chaplow, he worked damn hard last night, box to box, was a threat in opponents half and was always handy in the tackle. Brilliant! And pleased to hear Adkins say the paperwork was in hand to extand his loan. Seaborne, not one to wax lyrical about Seaborne but I thought he was towering last night, everytime a ball was whipped into the box he was there to head it away. Working alongside Fonte is bringing his game on leaps and bounds, Fonte was again his assured solid self, constantly talking to the back line and mashalling the defence, he's way too good for this level! I must say credit goes to the Daggers fans, especially in the second half. The group at the top never gave up singing and dacing even though their team was woeful, loved the "let's pretend we scored a goal", "we only want one goal" and "megastore" chants. Top stuff. Another plus for me was listening to Adkins on the radio when driving home, he wasn't happy about the performance and believes we're still not firing on all cylinders, he wants more from the team and knows they have to improve to win the league. Excellent comments from the manager to keep the players feet on the ground and to make sure they keep a level head, especially with Brighton coming up. Looking forward to that one!
  9. Leftback can't be the leftback Mark Dennis who complained on Talksport that all the ex players can't have a jolly knees up in hospitality anymore and they have to pay to see Saints. The same Mark Dennis who is still around as the Chairman of Winchester and who was good mates with Pardew from their couple of years playing days at Crystal Palace. Seems like another gruntled ex employee not being allowed his freebies from the club anymore. Why anyone who supposedly loves the club would want to carry on whinging and complaining about it, doing more harm than good when we're starting to get a good run together is beyond me.
  10. If people think they know who he is then why not say? If he wants to put his neck on the line and post rubbish on here that's his problem, not the problem of the person who is outing him! Say "alledgedly" if you're scared.
  11. Use the Ox as an impact player as Adkins likes to say.
  12. I remember a few years ago when we played Arsenal, Theirry Henry was just truly awesome. He skipped past players with ease and just looked different class. Henry at his very best has to be one of the best players I've ever seen in the flesh.
  13. Is that the same reliable source who claimed that we'd be signing all these players that never materialised?
  14. If Lawrence and Kitson are on 40k a week why did the football league sanction it? Surely they knew it would be financially unviable for Poopy to sustain that kind of debt and pay off the creditors? Maybe they allowed it so they could screw up!
  15. Anyone a member of the Huddersfield boards? Are they cacking it?
  16. Isn't this website a fans forum? EFF EFF ESS!
  17. Never paid money to be on a forum and I won't start now. £30 quid is just laughable. I normally stay away from this site during matches anyway as it's normally full of little kids.
  18. http://twitter.com/NE39 Another Gangsta! He knows nothing though.
  19. LOL at John Smith being Hammonds bum boy!
  20. He's in the under 21s so doesn't have to worry about being named in the 25. Even so he's way too good to come down here.
  21. haha! That is true! I laughed out loud at that. Is that a lol?
  22. I think it's down to Lambert's right leg on a forum writing posts instead of on the pitch scoring!
  23. Why was the sacking pointless? You have no idea why he was sacked, if it was unfair on Pardews part I'm sure he'd have been shouting about it, but I suspect NDA's were signed, so we're back that no one knows if it was pointless. Whether it was pointless or not we have to look forward now and start that off with a win at the weekend, Adkins will have seen last night what needs to be done, maybe an arm around Rickie or a Kick up the arse to Hammond, whatever but I'm certain we'll win this weekend and I don't see why we can't start a run of games where we pick up a few points, I reckon we'll get at least 8 points out of the next 4 games.
  24. Seems to me like the job was offered to Adkins, Howe was rung and told the Adkins deal might not go through and would he be on standby as second place. Howe probably said no. I've been there, had an interview, done really well only to be told there was someone more qualified but I'm second in their thoughts and if the other person rejected the job would I like it? Unfortunately the other person got the job. Seems like that's whats happened here to me.
  25. Well you have the administrators of this site and their friends (The9+) who hate Cortese for whatever reasons, maybe they can't get special privileges at the club anymore, or little snippets of gossip or some other rubbish, they are now general run of the mill fans. And as they don't like Cortese they want to beat him down whenever they have the chance, even though he's part of the club they support. In this case it's believing what some unprofessional old Chairman up at Scunny, desperate to hold onto his manager is saying over what their own club are saying. NC might not be the God's Gift to media and he's not perfect but to clutch onto any little straws to smack him with is stupid and some posters come across as desperate and sad!
