I like the fact Roy will name the 23 and the 7 standbys and not name 30 and cut it to 23 before they go crushing some players. I think rickie is the 23rd player on the plane, if not then he'll be first choice stand by, I really hope he goes though. Adam will be a starter.

7 for me. Imo opinion a 10 is winning something, like one of the cups of getting in the top 4. 9 would be top 6 or a losing cup finalist. We have played some excellent football but also fallen short against weak opposition which we shouldn't have, I was onthe verge of an 8 but the failed chance of enhancement in the FA cup and the big dip in current form dropped it a position.

My brachypelma smithi or Mexican Redknee called Jules, died when I was going through a divorce about 9 years ago, I had to move house and take her with me and I think it unsettled her, I had her from a tiny spiderling but she died at about 7 years old, I have kept every moulted skin she ever did in a jar by my bedside table and the young kids love getting them out to scare their nan. I would love to get another at some point but my wife has put her foot down so we now have a Giant African Land Snail called Blinky, he's a pretty cool pet and and I will be very sad to see him go. We also have a Jack Russell who is mental and has a massive personality, she's going to be 8 this year but eats so much rubbish all the time we don't know how long she'll last, only a few months ago she got bloat and was on a knife edge but a weekend stay in vet hotel and £1500 quid later (think god for insurance) she was back to her usual barky self. My wife's previous Jack Russell was 20 when she died so hopefully we have many more years of fun left with "Snowie".

I think this is exactly what will happen, Lukaku and 10m for Barkley. I think Everton will fall short of Champs League though and that is what Lukaku wants. I can imagine Belgium having a blinding world cup and Champs League teams coming in for him though. Why Chelsea won't play him God only knows.

If we can get 30m for Shaw and re-invest that into the team then that would be sound business. A £15m new left back and a £15m centre back for instance would be damn good players at that price (unless they were english and inflated!) I still don't think we'll sell anyone unless they really want to go though. And to be honest if Shaw and Lallana want Champions League football I wouldn't blame them for leaving, they deserve to be in the Worlds best competitions. Either way I don't think the only way the new lot are going to have us sustaining ourselves is by selling off all our best youngsters.

How does selling our best assets keep us healthy? If we fall down the leagues we would become very unhealthy very quickly. I think that the new team will look into different commercial aspects to help bring in revenue so we can continue to grow and keep the talent we already have.

The tempo has increased tenfold with lallana and Shaw on the pitch. I'd start lallana for the first game of the world cup instead of Wiltshire, offers more around the box.

Although it was petty and embarrassing whinining on about it, it wasn't about the penalty was it, it was about the comments that were made to Lallana for daring to question the referees decision. So if we come 6th this year. in 2014/15 we're in the Europa cup. win that and in 2015/16 we're the current champions and enter the qualifying stage of the Champs league? Actually it looks like we might miss out by one year. Must go for Europa next year.

We need to invest in the first team and if the current first team aren't good enough, they become the reserves.

I really like the Winter Olympics, as a spectator sport it's a lot more exciting. How many events are there in the normal olympics that can be life threatening and dangerous? There's a proper edge to the winter olympics that just makes it's more enjoyable to watch. Just watched the moguls, blimey, people face planting left right and centre. Cracking stuff.

That's fair enough, there's a reason why the earlier rounds are called qualifiers.
