Knew lovren was going but hoped for a player on first. Trying hard not to join the pessimistic bed wetters and I still think we will sign some good players but if any more players leave before we get any decent ones in then good luck to the club and I'll be staying away from this forum.

On the verge of signing a keeper, not forster though. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&ei=_LrQU7WII8TG0QWym4HIDw&url=http://www.westernmorningnews.co.uk/Teenaged-goalkeeper-poised-dream-Premier-League/story-21748131-detail/story.html&cd=8&ved=0CDEQFjAH&usg=AFQjCNFD129D72VshR1AfxrTf3I5CdusWA&sig2=ZyHCjjnKp4vB89jSp-xNeg

If other clubs were naming our players some on this board wopuld go mental. That said it's nice to be on the other side of it and I hope we sign someone this week, it'd be something different buy another Prem team's best player or near as damn it.

Wahay, back to rumours instead of talking bo11ocks. http://www.eatsleepsport.com/southampton/koeman-linked-with-striker-reunion-1781461.html

Unfortunately not Tickets for this fixture can be purchased by calling the ticket sales line on 02381 780 780, or in person from the Ticket Office. Due to the upgrade to the ticketing system taking place this summer, we are unable to sell tickets online for this fixture. Decent prices but should've done are with the £2.50 fee, luckily I can pop to the box office and buy them on the way home from work.

All players have a price tag, using the fact that we have said it's 25M or nothing should be lauded not used to bash the club.

Sky Sources: New 5 Year Contract offered to Jay Rodriguez

I am relaxed thanks. But life isn't as simplified as you think, unless you are a simpleton. -
Sky Sources: New 5 Year Contract offered to Jay Rodriguez

Clever by the club. They can be seen to be proactive with regards to Jay and show he's important, if he wants to leave and doesn't sign then the onus is on him abandoning the club as they rehabilitate him back to full health. Pushing Jay into a corner really, be interesting to see what he does. -
Looks cracking, I wish I was there.

Nice of you to get offended of behalf of women. Handbag at dawn. -
Pelle and Ings I reckon will be our strikeforce next season with J-Rod reading to come back in when fit.

We need another fast paced rumour of players being at the training ground so we can all get excited again. I prefer the excitement of the chase than the capture itself. These dominoes need to get falling!

I'd give him 20. -

Can't have a good signing without the airport rumour. This lad doesn't say if it is him who saw him or someone else and he's passing it on. Obviously the camera on his smart phone wasn't working. I would take this with a pinch of salt. -
It's brilliant!

So how is going to get the hallowed Number 7 Shirt?

To be fair it would probably be his last move so he has every right to see if there are other suiters worth considering, I just hope the club are giving him the red carpet treatment so he knows he'll be wanted here. -
Burnley especially seeing as ings will be with us within a couple of weeks.

Just because we have the funds it doesn't mean we should just go straight in with the asking price, I'm glad we're still bartering for players otherwise all our future bargaining powers will be non existent. People need to stop panicking, it's day 2 of pre-season.

Maybe not making the World Cup was a humbling experience for him and he has a had a good hard look at himself. If he can accept that he is an employee of Southampton FC and can apologise for how he's been and try and get on with the rest of the squad (that's still here) I don't see why he can't integrate back in. Time is a healer after all.
