I'm entertaining the idea of going but agree with the consensus - crap day out in a bit of a hell hole. Swansea I'm looking forward too - if anyone is thinking of going on the train you can save about 30 quid each by buying a cheapo ticket to Reading, then a group saver to Swansea.

One of the worst games I've ever seen. They were all bad, DMG probably the worst. Can't think of anyone who had a good game. Atmosphere was terrible and the Northern was full of goormless kids. Very depressing. According to the OS, Barnsley had 820 fans ? surely a typo, from where I was sitting it looked no more than about 200...

My concern is we continue to defend like we did today will get a proper humilation, today we were fortunate and condeded only four, on another day we could have conceded eight. The side is very young and I don't think it is emotionally strong enough to recover from a real battering, and judging from the inexperience that was witnessed today, that is only round the corner. Hope I'm wrong.

Gillett was immence, he is a real find. Excellent performance, but important to recoginise it's early days and Derby were REALLY poor, they gave us time to play our football, most other teams won't be so generous. How Jewell has kept his job for long borders on ridiculous. Great result & performance and a good platform to build on. Great day, Igot back at 1am, still recovering now.
