I'm having a good laugh at how much contradictory points you have made in your lengthy posts. It is also accepted by most that we have the strongest SQUAD since our return to the prem, yet you state as fact that it is weaker. You mention clubs still in this years draw that will stand in our way but dismiss those same clubs in the run of Birmingham and Swansea. To be honest I have lost what your point is anyway as you seem to be arguing against yourself at times. For what it's worth I would like to see a strong side out tonight resting those that need it but playing first teamers who need game time. Would like to see Jaunmi and Gaston start along with Romeo and caulker. Maybe youngsters on the bench but let's win the game before we start messing too much with the team.

On that performance I think Clasie could make a big difference to this team. Although still a little of the pace he closed down and filled gaps really well and he looks to have a bit more forward passing than big vic or Romeo. He looks to me to be the right player to replace Morgan, maybe not the same level,yet, but more forward passing and will be more like Davis than vic in transition. Hoping to see him upto speed in a few games. VvD looks great, very commanding and Bertrand great defensively, covered the middle well a few times, but not his best going forward. Hard work for Pelle today he is right up the street of skertle and sakho (sp) but thought he fought hard and his work rate going back was as good as ever. Tadic not his best but still able to provide something with a bit of magic. If gaston plays well so he can get a decent deal next year then that can only benefit us, put him in the shop window, this is most he has contributed for a long time. Overall we do look decent just need to get everyone up to speed and we could have a really good season again.

It looked to me the tactic was to really hold our shape and counter without ever over doing it. Think as the second half progresses I can see us getting something. A little sharper in the final third and we can get in against this defence. Longer it stays 0-0 more I fancy a saints win.

I don't get the talk of dropping Pelle, he has 4 goals and 3 assists so far and has been excellent in the last two league games.

It's funny that a typing error makes you an imbecile, I think your comment says more about you than it does me! Turkish seems like he knows some stuff about football but chooses to wind people up and be a nause rather than contribute and your comments are why so many people don't post much. Typing errors seem more important than interesting comments and genuine views. I have been on this site for years, don't often comment for the reasons suggested above!

An away draw, which could have easily have been a win, when we didn't play well is a positive. We have 3 defensive players to add to that team, Claise, Bertrand and a new CB. The movement of the front 4 is excellent, it was our passing which let us down. Good to see Jay back although it did show he hadn't played for a long time, got caught an the ball a few times, just needs to get sharper. Mane will get loads of goals and assist this season, he and Tadic frustrate me at times but they both are able to give us a bit of quality. Despite how stacked the starting 11 was with attackers we still had Jaunmi and Long on the bench to change it up. We have 6 good attacking options and, in Davis and JWP, 2 midfield players when we need 3 in the middle. Get a top class center back and I will be happy but if we could get another first choice CM as well, I would be ecstatic.

I said when we appointed Pardew that I wasn't to excited. The reason being he had got used to managing a side in the prem or championship, this league is somewhat different! We have bought players to compete in this league but the mentality of the manager is not right. As someone said earlier this is not the league to go one nil up and hang on we need to be pushing on when we get ahead and Pardew is playing it like being in one of the higher leagues. It is not time to sack him but time to back him and hope that he can learn the way to be successful in this league which I am sure he will. We have compaigned for long enough to get rid of a chairman who sacks mangers at the drop of a hat so now is the time to stick with and I am sure Pardew, if he has the players on board, can get us a safe mid table position ready for a promotion coast next season. I am disappointed with the start we have made but feel sure we will be ok, things are a hell of a lot better than they where 3 months ago! Sack him at christmas if things are as they are now.

For what it's worth I kind of had the same reaction as you did, don't really like Pardew too much. Am suprised someone who has posted almost 800 times on this forum is in any way suprised by the reaction of the other posters, you should know by now that you are only allowed to agree, how dare you have a different opinion! Pardew to me is a rather uninspiring appointment, yet you can't argue with his track record. As for the new owner, can't really be disappointed with the start made, it is good to have the club settled and ready to get moving back up the leagues with football matters the main talking point rather than the boardroom.

I do believe that they have there own opinions, I also believe they take there position seriously and have prejudice, subconciously, in most games they officiate, be it a player they don't like, a manager or a club. To site the referee as a posible cause for relegation is folly, the season is over 46 games not 3, the truth is we have not produced the goods all season, with or without bad ref's. I am sure we will get decisions go for and againts us in these last 3 games but they will in no way be the cause for our demise or otherwise.

What rubbish, if we go down its because we didn't play well enough to get results. Yes decisions can go against you but they can also go fo you. If you think the league have sat down and conciously made a decision to relegate us, then you are a fool! Typical of todays society looking for someone else to blame for our own short comings!

Rather than logging on to the internet, why don't 'supporters' actually go to games? I find this the best way of keeping up with the action!!

Because the current band wagon is to hate Wotte and McGoldrick and to love Saga, It doesn't matter what actually happens.
