  1. What I also know for FACT is that NC drove AP very hard however AP had the respect from the changing room. I would therefore surmise AP was pushed before he was jumped. I also know NC is not a nice man (FACT and inside knowledge) and as we now all know exceedingly ruthless.....but I still completely disagree with losing Pardew at this point in the season.
  2. Of course some will be unhappy - poor loves having to earn their money doing a full days work instead of going home at 12 midday like everyone else. God it is such a demanding job. Sounds like crap to me - hell of an excuse for sacking someone!!
  3. Btw Barnard's attitude was that of an angry young man from the moment he came on (had a go at Guly and young OC (who btw had a very good game)- perhaps the actions of a young man annoyed his boss had been undeservedly sacked and a two fingered salute to NC - just a thought?
  4. It was a staright red but Ref screwed up (again) and showed yellow by mistake - 3 match ban. It was a bad tackle and there is no getting away from the fact he deserved the red.
  5. The team are, sorry, were behind AP - DEPPO is wrong on this point.
  6. Deppo - my very good source tells me disquiet in the changing room is a complete poisson rouge - so fascinated to know why you know differently - PM me.
  7. DEPPO - why are you sure on this point?
  8. Cheers T9 I'll look it up now. TY -getting withdrawal symptons lol.
  9. I'm stuck in N Wales but have got access to Broad Band.....I'm looking now for a link but if anyone has a link to the match it would be appreciated. TY
  10. Oh lord now see what you have done - you could have set off a chain reaction by mentioning the RL word!! Standing back and listening for inevitable explosion of hand grenade rolled across the floor of the forum..
  11. He is definately not coming back - at least not this side of Christmas.
  12. Here, here - what a top man their chairman is and I for one will applaude him.
  13. Totally agreed - SFC / AP would never have offered a pro contract if they did not see a lot of potential. So many youngsters never make it - but looking at the way he took that goal against Bournemouth hints at the potential start of a very exciting career. Delighted for the lad and even more delighted that he is one of ours - LOL his dad was a skate - so even better he knows where the best place to nurture his talent lies.
  14. No you can't - he had to wait until he was 17
  15. 'there are a lot of very frightened people there ATM'. I am fascinated to know what this means ...please substantiate the remark?
  16. TY - I have just confirmed the same with my source. Lock this stupid thread.
  17. Why is this 'suspicious ' he is carrying an injury - well reported FACT.....and cannot play .
  18. It has been a pleasure conversing with you all but thank god we don't hsve a number of you commanding our troops over seas atm - headless chickens is the term that srpings to my mind. good night ....the sun will come out tommorrow bet you bottom dollar.......
  19. and what does Wenger know about the game .....get him out....amateur.
  20. No man it is football it is always uncertain (especially in the closed season).
  21. Thank you for common sense and a clear head.
  22. There are the pessimists (you) and the optimists (me) ....the glass is half full; honest. Have a bit of confidence and anyway it would be no fun supporting SFC if it was not like this now would it?
  23. Grow a beard
  24. To get fit, to get tactics right, to sort out the wheat from the chaff and work ouit where we are weak. I am not a manager but jesus h christ please everyone calm down this means niothing to anyone except AP. Why was it such a non event? Because in the great scheme it does not count for anything other than sorting SFC out before we meet Plymouth. You will have a smile a mile wide when we meet PAFC becasue AP prepared properly - last year we did not.
  25. Lord get a grip ....it is a friendly FFS
