Arsenal will not throw him in at the deep end - do not be ridiculous he will be brought in slowly and trained at a great academy at the Arsenal. They have a proven track record of bringing in young talent and nuturing it. If playing at a top tier club is the answer then Arsenal is the place to go vice playing at a second tier club - simple. im confused about what you mean rotting in the reserves? learning from the likes of fabregas and nasri, under the influence of the best coaches in the country, playing against players who aren't going to kick him as happens in league 1 is hardly rotting in the reserves. And i do hope you are joking when you say we are the best team in the world at developing young talent?

from the look of his facebook though, he seems like an intelligent lad, and i doubt very much that he would say something as prudent as that, he will know the scrutiny he is under right now, and it is hard to imagine that this facebook talk is anything of real significance

the lad is 17, im pretty sure the 'paid or played' thing was a joke, put yourself in his situation for a minute, things have happened so quickly for the lad, would you not be excited by interest from arsenal or man utd or whoever? he hasn't come out and said anything in terms of im staying or im going, and the bashing he is receiving on here is unbelievable.

Spot on ....I am pretty sure from the post match interview and the fact he uses him as an 'impact player' NA knows he must not over play AOC. he will, I am sure start a few games but not a regular starter. Nice to see the academy has done a great job on him and he does not look 'over coached' and has a good football brain.
