  1. Classless idiot. If we can get a good fee we should sell. Anyone else think he's no way near good enough for Arsenal and the level they are asspiring too? He's a good young player but no way near as good as Schneiderlin. I think Wenger would look at him as an accident waiting to happen who couldn't be trusted in the biggest matches.
  2. Can't see Wanyama playing for an English Champions League side, so would be hard for him to move away. Possibly a French or Italian CL team.
  3. All depends on what happens with Osvaldo, Ramirez and Jay Rod Imo, if we can get Jay Rod fully fit he's a great option for us and would probably stop us spending too much on a striker. If we can sell Osvaldo and Ramirez that frees up a lot of wages.
  4. Were not going to pay the 20n+ it would cost to bring Benteke here. Villa wouldn't gamble on there survival for anything less than 25m IMO not when next years TV money is so high. Only the richest clubs can by top class talent from teams in the Premier League.
  5. These players leave for more money and Champions League football, nothing to do with the England setup. Good players want to play at the highest level, can't really blame them.
  6. I think the whole team need to take on the goal scoring responsibility. None of the midfielders are scoring, we need to start scoring from corners and free kicks etc.
  7. Must win? Top four was gone after February and we today's result will not stop is finishing in the Europa spots. Long trip to see a fairly poor performance. I think we need to play more of a 4231 than 433 with Tadic behind Long, Mane has to start every week as well.
  8. Fitting Pelle, Hernandez, Jay Rod and Mane into the same side. Wouldnt have problems scoring with those four in the side.
  9. I don't see why they would bother with a big tall striker, they tried with Ibrahimovic who is the most gifted tall striker in the world and that failed. They would stick with Neymar, Suarez and Messi in 99.99% of situations =/
  10. You get so much bike for your money from Canyon. They look awesome too!
  11. Could Boca afford his wages? I'm sure at this point we'd be happy to sell him for a token fee, just as long as they can cover his wages. Knowing him he'd want a pay rise as well.
  12. Rob Green would be great. Id like to see us sign someone like that and say you'll be our keeper in the cups and back up for Forster, having two good keepers pushing each other can only be a good thing.
  13. No way, they are chalk and cheese - Vilhena would play in the front three or the JWP/Davis role.
  14. its a sign of good character to listen and learn from people. If if he was going through his youth football blasting the ball into the next scoring every week it would be a fairly hard thing to change to trying to place things more often I'm sure. Remember as a striker you usually don't have any time to think, if you over think the chance has gone...
  15. its not FFP stopping us from paying someone 120k p/w. If we chucked 120k pw at Clyne, Morgan and Toby we'd be ok, it's just a huge risk to tie up so much money in wages on three players who could get injured, lose form or fall out of favour. Then we'd also have to start paying that sort of money to any new big signings. Not sustainable to a club without European football.
  16. Europa would still be awesome. In the premier league it's probably easy to qualify for the CL by winning the Europa than finishing top four! Plus european away days :-)
  17. ****s trick.
  18. Everton are doing crap in the league but having a great season in Europe. They could get into the Champions League and this could go down as there best season in years. The Europa is worth worrying about now. They should get into the quarters with no trouble and I would fancy them against most teams - Roma and Wolfsberg are obviously very good teams but so are Everton on their day.
  19. His is best position is part of a three behind a more attacking midfielder and infront of a more defensive players. In our system he plays as the most attacking midfielder, once he adds a few goals to his game he will flourish there IMO. He's not a wide player, not a full back and not a number ten. We we should just let him develop and play his natural game. He is 20 and already as good as Steven Davis. Most young midfielders struggle to find an identity early on, Wilshere is the same and he's a few years older, still doesn't know where he fits in a midfield three.
  20. This game is far too easy. I went a 2019/2020 un beaten in the league with a Southampton squad full of under 21s and 30 year olds. Won the Europa and then back to back Champions League wins before getting bored and giving up. Signed a Munir for 50m, Aboubakar for 50m, a newgen for 88m and Ibrahimovic on 225k pw - there's no way no saints would be able to afford that. Started a new save with Feyenord after the recent patch and it seems to balance the game a bit I get 3-4 injuries a game.
  21. Would be a laugh going to a few League one and two grounds again. So much more fun than Premiership aways.

    Keep calm

We will be fine, teams haven't worked us out, we have gone from being a very defensive side who scrape wins by the odd goal with the odd bit of luck to a team who are losing by the odd goal. It will turn around again at some point. If we had started the season poorly and will twelve games to go had hit 6th we would all be chuffed, this is a fantastic season. I do think Pelle should be given a rest, I guess Koeman doesn't fancy Long as a number nine which is a shame really as it makes him fairly pointless. Can understand the club not wanting to shell out on another striker when we have Pelle, Long, Osvaldo, Mayuka, Rodriguez and Gallagher. Obviously we won't be paying full wages for Osvaldo this season but i'm sure the club worry about not being able to offload him next season and don't want to be in a position where we are paying Osvaldo, Pelle and Rodriguez big money + another striker.
  23. Doesn't play much as they prefer a 3-5-2 and the manager doesn't see him as a CB or as a wide player in the 3-5-2. He's crap, hasn't lived up to his potential and would be on huge wages. Exactly the opposite sort of player we should be after...
  24. As if we're getting 15m for Jay Rod, he was only just worth that before his injury...
