Dunno why anyone is surprised when we put in a performance like that. The squad is full of soft losers who make the same mistakes over and over again, they have a manager who doesn’t change his system despite two wins in 14 games, including another nine nil defeat. Players like Bednarek who has possibly been one of the worst players in the Premier League in 2021 continues to be an automatic pick. Yes we don’t have the investment they want, but that performance isn’t down to investment.

Schneiderlin was injured if I recall correctly. Was a great day, remember going from that on the Sunday to a Thursday night game at the Withdean.

Because we're likely to lose with or without him tomorrow, and the last time he came back from injury, we played him twice in three days and he got injured again.

His injury at Villa when he looked on the top of his game, couple that with him getting Covid after the Liverpool win, i don't think you can expect him to be on top form. The argument that he owes us is a nonsense, if he wants to play at a higher level whilst he still can, he's entitled to. Can see him ending up at West Ham, especially if they get into CL/EL.
