It’s not unfortunate that it’s an opposition attacker in our penalty area, Bowen’s shot was tame and he should’ve dealt with it better. Push it away from danger, not back out for a forward to score. Mccarthy gets defended however he plays, which is baffling. He’s crap, Forster is crap, Gunn is crap, Lewis is crap. McCarthy is a backup keeper, wouldn’t be starting for any other PL side.

It was nice for McCarthy to set up Fornals anyway. Can’t get over how shambolic our goalkeeper situation has become, it’s made the mix and matching in 2012/13 look good.

What a nice thing to say. It’s nothing to do with Saints, it’s been a horrific season to be a football fan, I go to 12-13 away games a season normally and have a season ticket, it’s a big part of my social life, I want this season done so we can hopefully get back to going to games normally.

Don't forget Hesketh and Sims should be given a chance.
