Lessons Following Our Next Promotion From Championship
Appy replied to Guided Missile's topic in The Saints
So we need to cheat and get a points deduction to stay up? -
Stick him in the Lyanco, Tadanari Lee file of crap players sections of our fans absolutely love for weird reasons.
-
Onuachu is absolutely terrible, I’d be shocked if he ever scores a goal for us.
-
In fairness, if he came here, that relegation wouldn’t be his career low anymore, something to aim at.
-
They’re a very good side, we’re not, that’ll probably tip it in their favour.
-
Yes, thank you for stating the obvious. I know what they could’ve done, merely pointing out a potential positive of not rushing it.
-
Seems very odd that not a single journalist has a sniff of any of the names supposedly interviewed today.
-
We knew who we wanted when we sacked Ralph too and ended up with Jones, don’t mind if they take their time a bit if it avoids that.
-
If you’re going from how teams did against us, Rohl got pumped 4-0 by us. For what it’s worth, neither are relevant, they both work well with what they’ve got and know their limitations.
-
Please stop being swayed or taken in by the odds, they make no difference.
-
Giving a caretaker the job based on one game worked wonders two years ago.
-
Absolutely, it’s such a volatile market, any sort of bet will make the odds fluctuate. Not worth taking much from them.
-
That’s what Wednesday do for him now.
-
Him being part of the best Ralph period is a myth isn’t it? The best Ralph periods were from November 2019 to around February 2020, then during project restart, Rohl was long gone.
-
The first game wasn’t Rohl and our squads are light years apart, what he’s done with them is remarkable, they were a rabble, I’m not completely sold on Rohl but he’s clearly an excellent coach.
-
So he got out of the championship and stayed up then? That’s a fact.
-
You’d think today wouldn’t be with a cup quarter final on Wednesday.
-
Kasper Hjulmund wouldn’t surprise me, feels very Ankersen.
-
It’s a rusk we’re willing to take.

Yep, even before we nearly went out of business, in the worse days of Dodd/Gorman, Burley and the Dutch duo I thought we were never coming back.
-
Cooper is better than Martin. He adapts, made Forest pretty pragmatic, which kept them up.
-
The feel of Martin still being here after a disaster of a season like this going into the Championship would be horrendous. Would suck any optimism out of the fanbase to start next season, it can’t happen, so it probably will.

On the upside, if the game goes how I expect, there won’t be many queues for me when I get to Witton station.
