  1. Welcome to 2018 and don't let the door hit you on your way out. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  2. Great! Sell the whole lot of them! And he's going to replace them with? Walcott? Pelle? Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  3. Sun Zi says firing cannon after cavalry has already done its work. [emoji14] Wonder who is lined up by the black box. Fire, hire and invest Mr. Gao! Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  4. 3 defenders and one striker against a Wolves side that didn't field their best. What's up with the genius tactics? Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
  5. Now, there was MoPo, RoKo and this should be MaPe! My thoughts were that he underachieved overall with the budget and team he had. They carried him in his first season and he was not able to inspire the team towards his last. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  6. We once signed a South American striker that outscored Gabriel Batistuta in Copa America... The Equadorian bomber bombed really hard for us. And then there was Osvaldo and Gaston... There's a pattern here. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  7. Given that Koeman is heavily hinting that the discussions next week will be for the club to match his ambitions, it suggests that nothing has been cast in stone. Therefore, Zlatan can't know for certain with respect to the Saints... Unless we take the line of argument seen in this thread. Southampton doesn't sign Zlatan. Zlatan signs Southampton. 8. Would be interesting if he said "came like a king, left like a saint" Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  9. A more skillful Benali? Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  10. I'd think VVD's signing is the first step in the right direction. Hopefully, we'll announce a marquee signing right off the bat to signal our ambition. That should stem the outflow due to uncertainty. I guess Saint Charlie's intent is also to rally the fans' appreciation for the midfield monster's contribution... With a positive fan atmosphere, he might be encouraged to stay given the other pull factors of club ambition. At the very least, he'll leave like Lambert, and not via throwing a strop. I'd only take wins against the rest of the matches. Only interested in where we finish. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  12. No! Why would I? Every point is important for ourselves, where Leicester finish is less important than the yoghurt that's about to expire in my fridge. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  13. Not the type of fan who would jeer a player at the stadium. I'd complain on here, or curse them over a cuppa but come match day, we cheer. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

A right footer Leighton Baines? [emoji16] Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

I'm sure Koeman considered his tendencies to screw up as a full back when selecting Maya. Speaks volume of our RBs in waiting.... Turd-tastic... Agree with many here that Maya's still decent as CB. We need a decent RB cover now and for Cedric to work on his defensive game. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk

  18. Agree it is ridiculous. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  19. "The likes of West Ham, Leicester, Southampton"... The gall of them... I guess we're supposedly bottom feeders to them. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  20. He has improved vastly from previous seasons, and Koeman obviously rates his defensive strengths highly enough for him to get so many games. He has shown to be a fighter with a positive mindset and he's in a good position to iron out the creases in his game as a squad player. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  21. http://www.channelnewsasia.com/mobile/singapore/live-updates-singapore-vs/2254508.html Maya has a pretty decent scoring record as a defender. Congratulations to him and hope to see him leave the "1 silly mistake per game" antics behind. Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  22. Less priority than expiring yoghurt. Always unconscious. Barrel chested striker Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  23. Rudi Skacel? How about "Tall & fugly (probably our ugliest ever) striker that's very average"? Sent from my E5823 using Tapatalk
  24. I'd compare the same players across seasons as well. Don't rule out the strength of the bench this season as well with JWP, Rodriguez, Romeu, Yoshida and Juanmi. While I agree we're worse off at the holding midfield area, I'd say Mane and Davis has stepped up their games significantly. Pelle & Tadic has also improved steadily. I'm thinking the squad as a whole is better this season. Looking forward to Clasie or Romeu to grow into the English game and improve over the course of the season as well.
  25. I thought the article seem to imply that Liverpool's fabled transfer comm IS the problem. We've got it right, they've not. They'll do well to sign our transfer committee and our even more fabled black box super computer!
