Doesn’t matter what this forum says he is the manager and well paid to do so. He could have kept it tight with JWP until h/t then switched when Perraud came on. JWP has kept Zaha in pocket, to play 3 players he hardly gave a kick to at end of season was very odd. Moussa is never a defensive option even pre season he was fine going forward defensive poor.

Ely played left wing back before , he was Ralph’s go to man yet nowhere near starting Saturday. That’s what’s odd this left out at end last year now start those that were his safe picks Ely, Stu, Redmond to some extent nowhere near starting positions just now seems desperate

The body language between Ralph and Semmens was very weird. Ralph looked a bit pissed off and downbeat as he should be with his recent record. Didnt give me the feeling this management structure has long left

Yeah but they had a good pre-season….the fact they have been shite for years is irrelevant. The 3 outcasts of last year were suddenly going to perform miracles in this new formation and prove him wrong….or right or something anyway Ralph is a tactical genius we are all wrong 5 points in 39 proves it.

Would Tarkowski, Mee or Coady be worse than any of ours? Wages of course but they are same level as us and we shipped out Long saved those wages etc. I am in the Ralph doesn’t like anyone who could contradict his tactical naivety that’s why we don’t sign leaders.

Please as a Ralph fan can you explain his tactics you have seen that makes you certain we will stay up? Why do you think there is no one else capable of getting more than 5 points in 13 games? Is the tactic of bringing in players from the cold (his doing) a master plan none of us all can see?

Could he play any worse than we had yesterday? It’s ok improving the squad with youth and a philosophy of buy with resale but when you have won 1in 13? shouldn’t the first thing we did was improve the first team with that money in key areas?

So I think it’s something like we lost all those games last season , who didn’t I play? Ok let’s give them a game instead.BK played loads of games in Germany yet can’t get a game ahead of a player Birmingham fans think was abysmal there and never played yet now he is Ralph’s messiah.

I think that’s it Ralph stop thinking he is a tactical genius he isn’t- if he thought playing Valery and Moussa 2 players he hardly played last year were the answer to our defence well ! Look at todays line up - we signed 6 players in summer yet 3 players who hardly got a kick under Ralph last year are now starting. Lost the plot.

Plus the goalkeeper a big gamble on Bazanu and the signing of Lis although glad Willy is here again. I get our philosophy of having to have resale value but it shouldn’t be totally that. Would Mee,Tarkowski or now Coady perform any worse than Bednarek but would help Bazanu, B-K and Salisu more. We still need that Pelle/Lambert striker and until then bottom 6 material. Our attack looks very weak.

Nope that scapegoating and poor form was all to the manager but you cannot deny after the West Ham cup game he was poor. I think it’s irrelevant anyway he will go somewhere else and we shouldn’t pay £30m for him either

Who would you replace Che with for £20m? We have been after a striker all summer and landed an untried French 20 year old for £15m? So we need 2 strikers when at moment we can’t seem to get 1 and yes I know there are still 20+ days left but wouldn’t it be great for once to have a good start?

We need a Pelle/Lambert striker that can keep it and link with Adams, Mara and Armstrong. Also think our left side is too average Moussa, Redmond and Ely are not good enough. Need another full back to cover both sides for injury or suspension

So first half was not great Armstrong made a lot of runs not picked out Romeu in particular took too long to play him in. Second half upped it a lot and I thought Valery had good game and as mentioned looked a bit chunkier. Lyanco kept selling himself on half way not great. Diallo grew into it well , Stephens did ok but subs really turned it round and like Aribo he actually picked out people in the box. Redmond first game played 3 positions but didn’t look happy in any really. 1 piece of action and Bella had good turn of pace to cover. 3rd goal was good but shows how short with no forwards on last 10-15. We have some great fans moaning at Tella ….it was KWP!! Monaco we’re terrible Minmino ran around a lot didn’t seem as though we missed out on him really lightweight. We won played well second half but need more first team not squad - Aribo impressed me a lot

So don’t get the logic tomorrow can sit in my ST seat but Saturday have to move to Itchen
