I had that 2 weeks ago and it was awful I couldn't get out of bed for 2 days and every muscle ached when I moved. Horrible.... the barking cough is still with me and can't shake that off.

I had a wander round the one in town on Sunday and was amazed at how much they are charging for food. One bloke walked away with about 10 fried potatoe slices some saurkraut and a few slices of suckling pig that cost £9. I have tried the spicy sausages in the past and these were now £4 I am sure they were only £3ish last year the lager was at £3 which I don't think too bad.

Jason St Juste coming in as left back? He fits the criteria! PS edit.... ;-) just for those that thought I was serious
-
Yep its real enough as a mate here at work got it totally buggered up his internet now.

You forgot agents fees, loan fees have to be factored in as well for all of those...no-one is suggesting we kept all 3 just Stern would of done. I have polished my crystal ball and Gorre is Jan's replacement when Wotte takes over next week after the Burnley defeats mutual consent departure ;-)
-
Going by this article I am not convinced he is the answer. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4158/is_/ai_n15943806 Sources say Wotte was unpopular at Feyenoord and some at the club were happy to see him go. Wotte is not regarded as a coach of any great ability but will fit into the structure planned by Lowe and Woodward.

Apart from lowering the match wage bill and being able to play KD and Rudi that is! Pekhart ( cant't trap wind) Gasmi (tiny and lightweight) Pulis (even his dad couldn't justify playing him) Smith (lightweight and Millwall reserve standard) Forecast (Do we need 3 keepers - ok Bart is now pants) Robertson (One good half since he has been here) Now there are 6 good reasons why Stern John ( a proven goalscorer) should of been kept here all have had loan, agent and transfer fees involved as well as wages however minimal!
-
The thing is ART we can see that we are playing too many kids and they need experienced help. I realise for some on here Euell will never be able to do anything half decent but I have watched him in the reserve games with the kids and there appears to be mutual respect. On Saturday it was crying out for him to come on and help out in the last 15 minutes as his strength and experience would of helped no end instead we went with David against Goliath but with an away win this time. In the few games he has played this year he looked Ok - his sending off IMO was harsh especially when the ref should of blown up for 2 tackles previously. I think this is why I am so frustrated and angry this year as we could be doing far better than we are especially league position wise why should our expectations be so low when with the correct team selection and tactics we could be 5 places higher at least?
-
Compared to the stuff Burley played its like watching Brazil......until we get 25 yards from goal....then its like watching Green Park Rangers.
-
Absolutely right! Spot on....I could not believe that change - all Wednesday had was the long ball and to bring on Gillet all 5ft nothing to deal with that was mental To leave an 18year old with no experience on his own for 15 minutes was a complete joke. I like BWP out wide and he has done well but he doesn't have to just play in one position now and we can utilise him more as he is far more experienced and on form use it while it lasts.

I have watched Paterson a bit....I was always concerned that this would happen as he is not ready yet the same way as Gobern wasn't ready yet we throw another great young prospect to the wolves. This was not down to Paterson but again a shocking decision by the manager(before you jump on the 'lets sack the manager') he has to learn to get it right at home and he is still costing us by poor tactics. If we had moved Bradley up front -Surman to the left and Wotton height to the middle then I am sure we would of held on. By playing to one untried youngster against 4 big defenders it was only going to add more pressure onto the back four with 2 right up it gives them more to think about rather than just winning the ball everytime then bypass our midget midfield. Then again I would of used Euell on the bench but I guess we had used up the wages budget for this match.

I have just been down to get some Man U tickets and one more for tomorrow and I was the only one in the queue. The club had laid on extra staff too....
-
Does that say more about your company or the performance of the team? ;-)

I know I shouldn't get away from this topic but I have just returned from NY and a visit to South St Seaport and it really annoyed me as to how we have 'lost' Ocean Village to the greed of building flats. We had a fantastic opportunity to make our own Seaport but have lost out to Portsmouth again who recognised the niche in the market and built Gunwharf which is nearly always packed. SCC is and have always been bloody useless when it comes to the needs of its citizens - although the exception was when Stoneham went belly up!

The council have spent all the money erecting traffic lights on Millbrook roundabout.....if you think I am joking go and count them. It used to be one of the easiest roads in and out of the city now its stop...stop...stop.. The council is as skint as everyone else and the anti-football lobby in the city would not be too chuffed seein their council tax spent this way when we need an ice rink so badly ;-)
-
I have been watching these kids for years in the academy - I was one of those who DD mocks who thought Dyer was going to be as good as Walcott as when they were under 18 they awesome together and its great to see them come through. I still wish we had kept Dexter somehow as he was my favourite of all of them. Given a choice I would rather watch this years team than last but if only we had a Stern or Rasiak (proven goalscorer) to finish off the good passing we are seeing.
-
The sitter was that header I was dead level with him and BWP put over a peach of across that cut out the keeper and defender. A forward should be at least able to hit the target from where he was he was coming onto the ball and had the leap to do it. I know it was robertson he tried to pass to but if he had looked up he had adam tearing in unmarked with all the goal to shoot at about 22 yards out - it was right under where I sit and I couldnt believe he went for that cross rather than roll it back. The one in the second half he did well to get to as I thought his first touch took it too far. Mind you its easy sat in the stands ;-)

What would he bring here? Fresh ideas, new broom, new contacts, he is also used to running a club that uses an academy although on a far greater scale than ours. The 3 will not dip into the pocket for players as we know there is too much bad blood between them and would you trust them to spend it wisely but Dein could be the 'Kissinger' that re-unites this club that is so in need of the kiss of life. I agree OB Lowe has done what most wanted by keeping a quieter lower profile but he is still the divisive figure that drives the wedge between fans. I did not say that it would be the end of Lowe but he would not be the front man that he is now.
-
We often see here the comment "who else is there apart from Rupert" well it looks like David Dein is free now Arsenal have a new CE. I know we have no money but wouldn't it be great if for the good of the club all major shareholders could come together and dip in there pockets and also with Ruperts 2 days a week money appoint someone who knows what they are doing and acceptable to everyone? The stayaways would be able to see that there is now someone who is running the club correctly for a change. Pie in the sky idea I know but not something that could not be achieved if the 3 major shareholders buried the hatchet and not in each others backs for once.
-
Nick H I totally agree about Lallana he is quality and has great feet but is not hurting the opposition enough. Great player but last night no end product unfortunately. We were toothless again.
-
Footballing wise we did but Plymouth were atrocious up front and had probably the worst right back I have seen in ages but as usual we didn't exploit him enough fiddling it about to much down the right. Robertson and McGoldrick were poor and DMG wasted a golden chance when we had them on the back foot and Lallana belting unmarked into the box but he tried a fancy outside of the foot cross that was so shocking it went for a throw when all he had to do was look up and roll it into Adams path! DMG also missed a sitter right on half time - had we taken those 2 chances then I could not see Plymouth scoring. I know Plymouth had their normal forwards missing last night but they were very ordinary.
-
Absolutely spot on and exactly what I was saying at the time - we should of put Pearce on for the last 10 up front - what was there to lose?
-
Poll Tax as well!

The youth approach will NEVER deliver stability.
