Saw him 3 or 4 times and never impressed me at all. In one reserve game he was abysmal. No touch, poor in the air, lack of awareness around him - going for headers that others were in far better positions to make and a lack of presence up front at all. Just my opinion in those 3 or 4 games mind.

That is the main issue I have with JP - even Sundance in a post last week finally saw the light. We do have some good players and with a bit of tactical nous we would of won more than 1 game at home this season and not in the poop we are in now. SB thought bringing in someone like Ian Dowie for a while may help - certainly Gorre hasn't been going on recent matches.

Not go for ridiculous Dutch experiments that havn't worked anywhere else in English football. Especially in a season when it was known nearly all the experience players would go - in anyones sane mind then you would not have an inexperinced coach/manager setup to go with inexperienced players. I will not be renewing my 2 for the simple fact I cannot justify £500 watching the team when I can go and watch the same players for free at Staplewood.

Do loanees have medicals? surely if they are not fit they go back to loan club. Hope you are right though as exactly what we need.

The thing is Tim I fail to see where JP is a good coach, motivator, tactician or have any common sense in this team. I don't want to keep on about Smith but he is a prime example, you coach a team and so did I so what is one of the first things you teach a winger? Knock the ball past the defender as soon as you can and get to the byeline - not once has he managed that. Change wings to confuse the defender - swap about and even though you are left footed you put over a cross with your right foot that way the defenders can't guess easily that you will turn on your good foot each time. Not once have I seen him do that or be encouraged to do that - its not totally his fault but a good coach would encourage that wouldn't he?

A left footer on the right is so easy for a defender. Surman Morgan Gillet BWP would of been worth a go.

I don't think many are denying we are broke but it 's when we continually waste what little wehave on players like Smith, Pekhart, Gasmi, Forecast(although Kelvin will go soon IMO), Pulis that ****es most of us off and then let what decent we have left go is sometimes the straw that breaks the camels back. What will Smith bring that Jake Thomson, McLaggon, Gobern wont? We have plenty of left sided at the moment - we even had to shoehorn Smith in on the right last week - yet we are fed bull**** on the OS about having plenty of wingers - OK name the right wingers . I bet you can name the left wing.

Actually having just re-read the OS it looks as though he won't be coming back here at all as its says permanently. I wonder if West Ham have anyone as they are having a massive clearout according to SSN. James Collins?

Once Reading get beaten on Saturday I think Coppel may have a rethink about Bennett and Pearce and they will go out again before the deadline shuts.

I see that the transfer window has been extended to 2nd Feb 5pm - means an extra couple of days to get in centre backs ;-)

Wow that amazes me as I think Lancashire is weak, poor in the air and beaten very easily. He is better on the ground than Pearce for passing but this league games are mainly won in the air. Pearce has been one of the only players that wins headers in both boxes and for me will be missed.

Smith will have to improve greatly from what he showed on Saturday as he was abysmal. We are short on funds yet sign a Millwall reserve player no matter how cheap. Hopefully Molyneux will help us improve in the set piece part of our game as Lallana, Skacel and Holmes efforts have been shocking.

Managed to get some free tickets to viewing before release and thought this was an excellent film. Also free tickets for Sex Drive which was a poor mans American Pie with more tits and arse.
