Sorry its down to 3 now we did have 4 - JP, Wotte, Gorre and Van Der Waals but all were paid less that what Pearson and Hockaday would of cost ;-) As for your last paragraph I totally and 100% agree!

So the best option is having someone that appoints 4 Dutch jokers who have very little experience of English football in a season where you know you are losing the majority of your experienced players. The best option is having a recruitment policy of 5 loanees who cannot get in the squad ahead or untried 17 year olds. Best option of having the football chairman and largest shareholder failing to attend the AGM. Best option of having your customer base alienated and at each others throats because of your policies. There was a solution where all 3 parties stay out of the limelight and work together through an independant CEO but that did not suit anyones ego. As Jim Royle would say "best option my arse" doesn't make you a luvvie in my eyes just misguided.

With an anonymous letter written by his mum? Can you tell me what great heights JP managed at before he was appointed by old rosey cheeks - oh yeah the equivalent of Eastleigh. Look back through your posts Sundance and even you were questioning this appointment and advocating bringing in Dowie!!

Is Mike getting his excuses in early for his non appearance on Saturday? IF this is true its out of order but he has set himself up to be very unpopular with his actions since he rode in on his white charger. No excuse for death threats at all. He wanted to be the saviour but ended up being ejected by his own appointees and then sided with Lowe and stabbed loads of fans in the back. Fans in the South get accused of not caring as much as those in the North well we do but hide it more. Football is only a game but to may its a way of life supporting your club there is no choice as I believe its in the blood. Upset too many fans and you then get repercussions like 30 pieces of silver lobbed your way or in this case more sinister things. No excuses and I certainly dont condone this sort of thing but Wilde certainly hasn't helped himself here ****ing off many people.

Hhmmm 2 days before a march and more protests this gets released sceptical me...never!
-
Exactly what I said about Paterson who I rate but think after the United game will have been set back months. Like Gobern were far too inexperienced to be thrown in and needed nurturing a bit more. We have some very good young players but to totally rely on them this season was madness.
-
The usual factors are the wind or sun in the keepers eye but dont think either are a factor at SMS so wondered why we always seem to defend the Northam second half
-
You sleep in the Chapel as well....I bet you dont get as many tartan blankets and thermos flasks as us uber fans in the Kingsland.
-
Does it really matter at professional level? I have often thought that we chose to kick the wrong way so that in the second half the away team kick towards their own fans - sort of suck the ball up our end. No facts or figures to back this up but wondered what everyone else thought? With Swansea selling their allocation will this give them more impetus second half?
-
Depends if the management release enough from the weekly squad budget to afford them both bearing in mind that we have a match on Tuesday...can we afford 2 win bonuses?
-
BWP on the right Skacel on the left. McLaggon as understudy.....Smith left back.....in the changing rooms.
-
Based on the last performance where he never tackled in the whole game or even got his shirt dirty I think we need a bit more steel in the middle than Morgan offers at the moment. I know Wotton is not everyones cup of tea but Wotton and Euell in the centre against Sheff Utd would be worth a go to combat their different style than Swansea.

That would be the team I would pick.

Well the current masterplan under your idol is really working well isn't it! Lower gates, shocking squad of the poorest quality we have had, alienated and rampaging fan base . Yes we would of lost the loanees you mentioned but would Pearson of brought in lesser quality than what we have now ? Only Pericard was a waste but I can see why he brought him in as we were lacking height and a big striker. How do you know Pearson would of struggled...exactly you dont and you use that every time to disguise the fact that this Dutch experiment is a complete farce. I do not hold up Pearson as a god and we only won 3 but only lost 3 as well. He did not have the benefit of a pre-season like this Dutch joke of your idol. Like I said I want all 3 out of the club but at least under Crouch he put right the Dodd/Gorman farce this lot again followed the same mistake for a 4th time!

One of the most sensible posts I have read on here lately IMO and totally concur. I asked the other day for a Luvvie to name one thing that he has done since his return that has been successful and the silence was deafening. Ok maybe that we actually haven't gone into admin yet but is that more to do with aviva/Barclays not wanting to pull the plug? The thing that angers me most was loaning Stern John and then bringing the likes of Gasmi who is no better than anything else we have at the club and is very, very lightweight and added to Pulis, Robertson, Pekhart is absurd.
-
With that I totally agree and until all 3 are banished from Saints for good then we will still be in the ****e. Of all 3 I want Wilde out far more than any other though.
-
So the home game against Bristol City was empty?
-
Exactly and that is where most of this mess came from not Crouch but Wilde and the execs he brought in. Yet he gets away scot free and all the focus gets put onto Lowe and Crouch. Wilde has a lot to answer for and changing sides like his underpants has got us even further into a mess with this joke of a board.
-
Because we would have bigger gates = more revenue = less pressure from the bank. The only way we would get bigger gates is by winning and we would not of started the season with a stupid Dutch experiment wasting what little revenue we had on 5 loans who are so poor cant get in ahead of 17 year olds. Pretty simple really if look at it from the middle ground - I want all 3 out but this current board are a joke and a mess.
-
Found this the other day....slander niot libel and worth taking to court? http://www.simkins.co.uk/ebulletins/lerSlandernotLibel.aspx
-
Um Nottingham Forest....all positive all up for it and a reasonable atmosphere at the start...only problem was the team and manager were not...again! For the umpteenth time...the situation we are in is not of the fans making...how many games have the crowd had the audacity to boo and shout at the players, manager and board...2!!! We have won 1 in 14 where was all this inspiration in the other 12 then when we did our part. Ignore all this its the fans etc that is for the Luvvies trying to cover up where the real problem lies and its not the fan this time.
-
Bambi on acid....watched him a few times for the reserves. When we released him we were in the Prem and he was not anywhere near the standard at that time.
-
Thats the thing mate they don't realise we have been there and done it when these 12 year olds were still in their nappies. Being chased round Elland Rd in 79 when there are only 200 fellow Saints amongst 38k Leeds baying for your blood was certainly an experience. I couldn'tr care less how a fan supports the team - you pay your money you can do what you like. Where I sit in the Kingsland its ideal...good bunch of knowledgable fans, all join in the singing and a good distance from the burberry clad lot.
-
I consider the Northam to be full of 12 year old chavs....this generalisation game is great isn't it! Thanks for confirming everything I thought about you.
