What also worries me having watched a few of them play is we haven't exactly bought in many decent players this season so their opinion is flawed...Wotte was involved in all those decisions I am not saying mine isn't here but Immudia was quality when I saw him play in the Ressies. I know one or two coaches at Saints and they also rated him.

What I am a bit surprised about is that this decision has been made...how do these people making the decision know they will be around next season? How do they know the new board/management do not want any of these players....taking into consideration we have a new owner etc!

I will bet Immudia gets snapped up by someone - he is a very good player IMO. He would of been my shoe-in for right back next season. Think Darren Kenton without all the falling over. Not tall but built like a brick sh1thouse and quick. Shame but am sure he will make a career somewhere.

I know Derry can answer for himself but he was/is not saying that - what he was stating IMO was the fact that you were almost rubbishing the other bid in favour of "yours" without knowing anything about that bid.

Yep I took that lead off of here and have used it for the last 4 years 0% interest for the year to pay it off. As Michelle says as long as you make the payment you are fine - I missed one once by accident and then got charged interest every month on the balance.

Exactly...plus the game is now totally different from when Lawrie was a manager. The money that is paid now is obscene and the pressure to get to the 'promised land' is far too great for some boards and managers. For every Strachan there is a Stuart Gray.....ask Northampton. We need a proven, experienced manager that can attract decent players who are on free's, loans etc

I think Ince would be off like a shot as soon as a bigger club came in for him. I think he will take over one of the CC teams in the summer to repair his career.

Which is why it amazes me when people slate managers like Warnock, Davies and Sturrock in this league who all have kept their sides up.....we appoint 2 Dutch jokers with no experience of this league at all. Palace also have had young kids in their squad as well! Its false economy to appoint from within and inexperienced.

I remember quite vividly the anti Dalgliesh feeling towards the end of his reign - the problem he had was following the success before him with Fagan etc. He was not popular was my point really.

Please no...how many idols at clubs then get their reputation dragged to the gutter by taking over as manager. Hoddle at Spurs, Shearer currently at Newcastle, Dalgliesh at Liverpool, Souness..... I have no issue with Matt on the board as his knowledge of the club is of great use but please not as manager.

Yep agreed, you have to work with the players you have..21 used in 5 games and going by yesterday they are rubbish. Ok Liverpool were awesome but my daughters team defend better than Newcastle. You organise and build from the back, get people attacking the ball but they do neither. A good manager would have that as first priority. One shot in the whole game..off target. Boothroyd, Cotterill or Pardew for me all experienced and no point in wasting money in compensation to other clubs managers.

Do you know if there is a timeline for when the offer has to be answered by or how long Fry will wait for other offers.

A very good game to watch, we looked in real trouble at 123-5 but then Benham and Pothas dug in - full marks to Pothas who stayed out there with a runner for about the last 5 overs keeping Benham going. Some great Hampshire fielding saw us take wickets at vital times when Leics were starting to get going. Billy Taylor bowled and fielded superbly with a great catch as well. 47 run win looks comfortable but there were some worrying times. We have some very good youngsters coming through.
