Has LifelongCherrySkate started a rescue package yet? Do they even use photocopiers in Cosham?

Bad: Health - although minor problems its been horrible - 2 knee ops including partial replacement. Dislocated disc, physio then scrunched all the ligaments, muscles and tendons in my hip. I have spent all Christmas in bed with swine flu. Saints getting relegated, -10 points and the Pinnacle fiasco. Good: Liebherr and Cortese saving Saints and appointing a decent manager for a change. My daughter doing brilliantly in her GCSE's, nipper continuing to do well at football at school and for his team. Still with the woman I met and married 28 years ago.

SMS has at times been as good as the Dell and its a fallacy to state otherwise. Its just there have not been that many to think of! I know a few Nowich fans who reckon they have never ever heard a goal louder cheered than Camaras winner against them. Wolves quarter final at SMS was awesome with the whole stadium rocking. Portsmouth 3-0 on Dec 21st 2003 was amazing. Recently the JPT Norwich game had fantastic sound ....at times mainly at the end. SMS can be very atmospheric as witnessed recently with the slow OWTSGMI its just we havent had much to cheer about!

Judas Redknapp will come and save them.....he already said he would and he never breaks his word.

Has anyone used these, are they effective, easy to set up etc? We tend to stay in hotels that charge silly prices £15 an hour so was thinking of getting one for these stays and when we visist MIL. O2 doing them for £15 at the moment.

Trust me your old man aint wrong!!! Big Ron was my schoolboy hero and I worshipped him. I have never, ever seen anyone come close to him for heading ability in over 40 years!

But we also have to play Swindon at home....that's a 6 pointer!

Thats almost where I come from as well, although I will add that I think the football is better at times in this league than last season. Teams actually come here to play (apart from Colchester and Tranmere) and seem less frightened to lose than they were in the CCC. I hate seeing us on the SSN tabs so far down and having to wait ages for our table, I hate to see our match reports almost insignificant, I hate not being on MOTD even the 90secs at the end. I do like us winning though and the fact on matchdays its all about whether Papa was offside or why Lallana keeps being put in the centre. It cost me £9 the other night for me and my lad to watch 2 decent teams playing football......£42 for Wolves to watch their reserves?

I wonder how much his dad regrets talking him into going to Sunderland now! http://www.zoominfo.com/people/Piper_Matt_248545152.aspx

It makes sense to utilise the megastore shop as well. I didn't realise until Saturday when I wanted extra tickets for last night that we stopped selling them in The Marlands ticket shop. There was a bit of a row on Saturday between a steward and fan trying to queue for tickets so can see why this levy has been added to cover cost of additional stewarding and police.

Now where have I heard that before ;-) ? Is it Al Faraj's multi-billionaire cousin?

Just amended that ;-)

In injury time Antonio chased back near our corner flag and challenged Holt...he may have caught him slightly in the chest but Holt went down as though he was shot claiming he was elbowed in the face. Holt was off the pitch.....the ref gave US the free kick and we pumped it forward, Lambert won a great header and Papa scored. Had he not reacted like he did the ref wouldn't of given us the extra time to take the kick and Holt would of been defending. Poetic justice for a cheating git!

I think we lost it when Lallana went in field and Morgan got pushed wide left which created a massive gap down that side in front of Harding. Playing only Lambert up front released more players to get forward into the space and cause us problems. We switched it 4 times....Lallana, Schneideling, Hammond, Harding and for me that was our problem as we had looked pretty good up till then. Mellis started well but think the lack of games told in the end as he lost touch with the pace of the game. You reap what you sow...you cheating git Holt!!!!

Yes its called experience - you never ever make a decision in life based on what has happened before have you?? I called the Echo a two bit rag and it is...that has been my stance for a number of years - even when your love god was here reaking havoc and running this club into the ground the Echo was a sh1te paper running sensationalist stories that you have so conveniently forgotten. You may want the local chip paper running this club...controlling every piece of publicity...me I will go by the people that have done a great job so far.

Anyone who goes into football expecting to make money are a sandwich short of a picnic! How many clubs are facing financial problems and why do we have no debt? The reason the club has a large and supportive fan base is the way Nicola and Ml have run things unlike the previous lot who had gates about 5k less!
-
Why do some fans need to champion trouble and make it when its not there? This is a two bit rag against a guy that has come in and hardly put a thing wrong and practically stopped us going out of existence. Yet some of you want to forget all that and side with a prize numpty of a journalist so that you can come on here pretending to be in the know and rant out some more against the club when all is going well. Some of you just love the club being in the sh1te so you can post your bile and never be satisfied I swear some would rather we be in the position we were in May/June so they can get there " I told you so" digs. Why do we need the Echo? If you want a ticket you phone the club, talk to a mate, find someone who has an internet connection, go to a library...how many bought ST's were sold because the Echo told them how to buy one? What sells more ST and match day tickets then, Nicola running the club correctly and us winning 3-0 or being in love with the local chip paper who love nothing better than having a spat with the club as it gives them something to print when otherwise they have very little!! No-one is pretending that the club gets things wrong occasionally and will p1ss some off now and then or we should just hoover up everything we are spun. There are some though that will side with the Echo over the club because they have a bit to gain and it isn't hard to fathom out who and why!

Wouldn't of happened at The Emirates would it!

Bloody hell that makes 3 of us....I thought it was just me ....she looks really dirty ;-)

The relationship between the club and the Echo has been awful for years. I remember talking to a reporter at Staplewood at a reserve game....in fact I was stood next to Theo and his dad at the time....(name dropper) and he said that Rupert and the echo's relationship was awful and had hit big problems and he had banned them coming to the ground etc. All the requests had to go via Saints pressroom and were getting rejected. The coverage during our recent struggles was abysmal....if the echo want to get into a war with Nicola there will be only one winner. The fans will back the person responsible for getting us out of the mess not a third rate rag of a paper that I stopped buying years ago due it being so rubbish with its sports coverage.

The roads around Marchwood are a nightmare at school times but that doesn't affect anything the school chooses to do. I had to take my car to the garage and got stuck in the school Chelsea tractor run which was far worse than any Reserve matchday traffic. How many games are played at Stapelwood that attract big crowds...yes the onsite car parking is atrocious but its always coned off on the roads to avoid neighbours getting affected. I agree the football has grown massively in Marchwood but its also provided quite a few jobs for the locals as well so it has it's positives.
