  1. Apologies havent seen a thread on this yet but our 2 arrived today. same discounts as last year. Nice colour folder this year - black and gold.
  2. Yep Beckham is so ****e with his club career that AC Milan wanted him back!! Never done it in the World Cup for England? Who scored the penalty against the Argies that won us the game? He started all the WAG ********....how ...I thought that was the media ? Beckham is such a clothes horse and fck all else that he has played for 3 of the top sides in the World...jeesh they all must be such poor judges of a footballers ability compared to you sat on your arse in front of a TV!
  3. Well for League games it works out at £15 for me and £5 my nipper with ST's, this League Cup game is £26 for both of us....if I choose to pay Dunes ticket tax thats £9more for Bournemouth in the cup than I will pay in the league home game.
  4. Some fair points, I was just readin a post on the UI that I agree with, the Terry incident was handled badly and gave players an opportunity to do whatever they liked without much recourse. Capello may not have big match scenario at international level but some of his decisions left me astounded. I watched the game with some highly qualified football coaches - none could see why he was doing what he was it didn't make sense and am looking forward to the next few weeks fallout to see some of the excuses. The agents will want to protect their players who want to move on and further their careers and damage limitation after such a poor showing will be number one priority. The red tops will have a field day for weeks to come. I have lost all faith in Capello - from hero to zero in 4 games and am as baffled as you.
  5. So what went wrong then...you must admit some of his decisions were bizarre. Did he just freeze then in the Algeria game? Gerrard was the best player against the USA yet got moved to accomodate Barry and Lampard so 2 positions buggered by that move. Rooney was abysmal yet he kept him on. I am not making Heskey the scapegoat..he is what he is....so someone please explain it to me as I have absolutely no idea what he brings. A player that doesn't get picked by his home club is expected to lead the line in a World Cup??? You need someone to score goals and play someone who has scored 7 times in 60 games? Capello has a great record in club management so what caused him to fail so miserably with some of the most inept management I have seen since George Burley.
  6. Not for one minute am I excusing those waste of spaces - no pride, passion or self shame, However, Capello is the leader, whenever the team is looking for inspiration or a decision he never made ONE that counted. He lay down to the pampered over hyped numpties . Everyone could see we were crap up front and Rooney was shocking so why was he allowed to stay on and show petulence and be the spoilt brat he is? Capello should of hoiked him off at half time against Algeria - just maybe they needed to be set an example but no Capello just sat there waving his arms. He may be a fantastic club manager but he is not the man to lead England he doesnt have the charachter needed.
  7. Its typical of us fickle fans but after the Algeria game I lost all hope with him - he went from hero to zero with me. How you sit there for 65 mins watching us struggle and then swap a midget for a midget! Today bringing on Heskey at 4-1....why??? Please someone tell me why I just can't see any sane reason...7 goals in 61 appearances is he going to suddenly get a hat-trick? Rooney was abysmal in all games yet stayed on.....why? How many times did he give the ball away today in the forst 30 minutes? Prima Donnas the lot of them and Capello isn't man enough to manage their egoes.
  8. Agreed it works the other way as well - my lad went from being under 12 to youth category on renewals. Had I been dishonest I could of saved a fair chunk....by just renewing at the old price. I phoned and booked over the phone at the newer rate.....£140 extra this year though...ouch. The system should look at DOB and put in that category of ticket.
  9. Many thanks for that Bath Saint you have funnily confirmed all the things I picked up on yesterday. Bus to Uni every day - that hill, accomodation costs, the traffic, the course was fine but the other bits that go with it were a concern. She went to Bristol today and felt it was far more her, so its Bristol, Cardiff, Bath in that order at the mo. Thanks for all the responses a great help.
  10. Education
  11. Thanks for that website - she has gone to Bristol Uni today so that will come in useful.
  12. I can't remember who it is on here that goes there but my daughter is thinking of going - we attended the open day yesterday and needed the 'real' story. Any help appreciated on things like accomodation in second year, travel, lecturers, support.
  13. Learn what the word Tolerance means....you will need bucket loads of it.
  14. Anyone know of a stream for the game - cannot watch BBC/ITV due to proxy settings.
  15. Well if everyone had vacated the vicinity who would of made them sitting ducks?? I know of one of those lads - first offence threw a coin and is now going to jail. Silly sod - don't condone it at all- but lets agree none of this would of happened if the police hadn't let them out at the same time.
  16. Could be that another club has been in contact with Molyneux and wanted to get sorted ASAP rathet than wait for contract to expire. Pulis is here until the 28th August which is the end of his 2 year deal....providing we don't take up that option of a third year having seen him play several times I am positive we won't!!
  17. Don't blame the manager.....he is not doing club football is he? he is at a WC with our national team!!! I knew you were barmy with your incessant Hoddle ****e but honestly you are round the bend! He sat there watching that lot of bumbling clowns for 63 minutes and changes a winger for a winger! Thats was almost Burleyesque last night and he turned into Mike Bassett...clueless. Anyone with half a brain could see in the first 15 minutes we gave them far too much space and time on the ball yet he did nothing didn't tell them anything from the sideline just stood waving his arms looking like Desperate Dan. At half-time we should of had Heskey and Rooney off and Crouch and Defoe on.....Crouch got 7 minutes FFS....but don't blame the manager.
  18. Had a look at the pitch yesterday...its very sandy and looking a bit ropey - think we should leave it like that and practise for a while on it and get used to 50% of the other grounds in this division. Come start of the season it will of course be superb as always.
  19. Still about...saw him about 3 times last season on the way to matches outside St Marys Sports Hall. Although to be fair age has caught up with him..He is now the Grumpy Looking Old Paki ;-). To add, nippers being passed to the front so they can see the game. Nippers stood on crates, boxes, steps and stools at the front. Wooden rattles although loveable old rosey cheeks tried tha one.
  20. I dont expect either will sign for us next season. Papa is a free spirit and will go on to a bigger (in his eyes) club. Reading will ask too much for Antonio and Pardew will bring in someone cheaper and better. I would like us to sign both but as Pardew did Ok last year in the transfer market I trust his judgement.
  21. My Mrs will love the black socks...she hates trying to get the mud out of the white ones ;-)
  22. Well are you saying thats not possible? I heard that from a players mouth so he thought it possible.
  23. Seems like the perfect lot really to buy the Skates and they will pass the proper Person test ;-) http://www.reportingproject.net/football/sub_lavrov.html
