Hi guys, Thought you might be interested in an idea I’m planning for next season. As the title suggests, I'll be aiming to follow our 38 Premier League games from 38 different countries – meeting Saints fans at every stop and sharing their stories, one match at a time. If you’d like to hear more about the idea I’ve put together a short video that better explains the concept - the password to watch is 38in38. Also, if you’d like to take part in the project please let me know – the more Saints fans I can meet along the way the better. As well as meeting with and promoting our supporter groups around the world, I aim to cover the club’s historic moments from a global perspective. Through meeting with former players and fans now living abroad it should be possible to revisit almost all of the key SFC moments from the last 75 years. I'll also aim to head further back in time be retracing Charles Miller’s famous arrival in São Paulo and speaking to Athletic Bilbao about the Southampton origins of their red & white stripes. Would be keen to hear your thoughts on the idea and if it’s something you’d be interested in following throughout next season? Cheers, Trev 38in38 VIDEO

We play Spurs after Leicester's 2nd last match so they're almost certain to be out of contention for that one. Also Palace in the last match will have both eyes on their following weekend at Wembley. 9 points is possible when considering all of the above. Can't do much else about West Ham and Liverpool besides hoping they drop points all over the place.

I think he'll very much understand. It's almost an unofficial testimonial for SRL as well. I'm sure Kelvin will get an incredible reception, but Rickie is still likely to be the fan favourite for obvious reasons. Does anyone know if this will be covered on the YouTube channel? Looking forward to this match more than any of the remaining three. Although beating Spurs would make for a good change..

I'm not normally one for superstitions, but.. From the day Sydneysaint opened this slightly bizarre thread, after the Palace match, our record read: Played 6 Won 5 Drawn 1 Scored 8 Conceded 0 Since the thread was locked, prior to the Chelsea game, it's been: Played 2 Lost 2 Scored 1 Conceded 4 Please open it back up for the Sunderland game... #WePaypalOn

As long as this thread stays open.. #WePaypalOn

The boys celebrate the win at Old Trafford and talk about our trip to The Emirates: Episode of Le Pod -
This could be one of the luckiest threads of all time. The vague and initially mysterious post was made on the 12th of January.. Since then we've played 3 games and won all 3, conceding 0 goals in the process. Long live Paypal and sydneysaint.

Huge thank you to Keith Carter who just donated £100 to Mary's Meals! @Kc66Keith on Twitter.
-
Love your work! You're in the hat with tickets 61,62,63,64 and 65. £65 has been donated to Mary's Meals since the initial post! For those who don't know all to much about Mary's Meals, here's their 2015 review video (3m 4s): The first million (4m 44s): & their backpack project (4m 36s): All well worth a watch and, IMO, it's another fantastic decision by the club to partner with Mary's Meals. From all reports it was Katharina's call after she heard about the work being undertaken by Mary's Meals around the globe. Such a simple concept, incredibly low overheads and a close connection to the club. Hopefully it's a long lasting partnership.

It's annoying whether it's planned or not. Full of momentum after back-to-back home wins and those stories certainly make it feel like some of the wind has been taken out of the sails. Only time will tell..

Latest episode with plenty to talk about: http://www.salessaintsshots.com/saints/ Well worth a listen! -
At our Aussie Saints Xmas party in Melbourne, with special guest John Sydenham, we raised £75 for Mary's Meals and £75 for the Ex-Saints towards Ronald MacDonald House Southampton. We were also lucky to enough to be given a signed 2014-15 kit by a couple visiting from Southampton. Seeing as we already had a Le Tiss signed shirt at our pub we thought the best idea would be to raffle it off with all proceeds going direct to Mary's Meals. The reason I'm posting this up here is that we'll be doing the draw just before kick-off tomorrow and would really appreciate your help in reaching our target. As you can see from the link, 100% of the money goes straight to Mary's Meals. All the info is at https://www.marysmeals.org.uk/fundraising/project/sas-southampton-australian-supporters/sas-comp-signed-saints-shirt and we'll cover any postage costs to send it out to the winner. Many thanks in advance, Southampton Australian Supporters Facebook.com/AussieSaintsFC Twitter: @AussieSaintsSAS

Lucky thread. Someone needs to bump this before Saturday or re-post. Not quite as exciting as nuns, but it appears to be working..

We have a 2014-15 home kit signed by the record-breaking squad. All proceeds are going towards Mary's Meals. The draw will be held live on video before the Watford match and postage, should there be an overseas winner, is included. Each £10 donation through the Mary's Meals website puts you in the hat. Double entries after the first 10. There's a clear picture of the shirt, competition details and entry updates on our SAS Facebook page. If you're wondering why we've selected Mary's Meals to raise money for, have a look at some of . MM's also has incredibly low operating costs for a global charity. Any donations will be greatly appreciated! Many thanks in advance, SAS

Hoping someone can let me know when Sky & friends will be updating the next batch of fixtures. As far as I can tell the fixtures up to the start of February have been changed for TV times. The reason I ask is that we're planning to have our Australian wide event in Melbourne, around March/April, but want to ensure it's a Saturday night fixture. Last season we set the date early and got burnt with the Swansea game somehow being picked for live TV.. We're expecting, if we can make it a Saturday night match, around 100-150 Saints fans in Melbourne for the event, including John Sydenham. Any help will be appreciated. Cheers.

Episode 4 of Le Pod is now up. Jack & Tim discuss the club's USA connection, Stoke, Man City & a special guest joins the lads. - Jack's professional insights on Under Armour are worth a listen here. -
Toshiya is working on it There's also the @SouthamptonFCJP Twitter account, although it's mainly direct translations of the SFC Tweets. Would be good to have more of Maya on there. Anything from Q+A's in Japanese to running competitions for signed Maya Saints gear.

What was BlazerCon? An event in New York hosted by the Men in Blazers (you might remember one of them from the Southampton Way doco). It was a lofty $225 a ticket, but was sold out very quickly. If you want more info on the event itself, head to: http://blazercon.splashthat.com/ or https://tagboard.com/BlazerCon/search I wasn't at the event myself, but acted as a go-between to ensure we had Southampton fans in attendance. I thought some of you would be interested to hear how Ralph was received by both our fans and others. Here's some of the feedback from those that attended: Cameran: Great days for the Saints fans in New York that got to meet, converse with, and listen to Chairman Ralph Krueger. He sat down and had a nice conversation with a couple of us Saints supporters. Top, top guy. Very knowledgeable and very passionate about the club. Absolutely fantastic leader that takes Katharina's vision for the club and applies it to his everyday life. Jack: It was unbelievable, was great to meet a bunch of US fans. I actually couldn't believe how accessible Ralph made himself, he put aside a good half hour 45 minutes to chat to us, answered everything, direct questions about youth team, transfers, managers unbelievable bloke, thanks very much for making me aware of the whole thing, I definitely I owe you one! @Ethan_kraft: Ralph Krueger once more proving that Southampton FC is one of England’s classiest clubs. @fwdale: Southampton is planning on partnering with youth academies in the United States starting early next year. @fwdale: Southampton chairman Ralph Krueger says that a five-year contract for a player is really a three-year deal in today's world. #BlazerCon @fwdale: According to Krueger, many of the EPL teams start scouting players between the ages of five and eight. #BlazerCon @doctorhoosier: Absolutely phenomenal talk from the Southampton chair at BlazerCon. Really admire the way they do things. @NicholasMendola: I’ve heard Ralph Krueger speak for 30 minutes and I’m ready to follow him through the minefield. @PBrennanENQ: As always, Winnepeg-native and SouthamptonFC Chairman Ralph Krueger gave a brilliant lecture on the “Southampton Way”
