Coming over from oz for the last 4 weeks of the season and very keen for this match along with the rest of course. Having never travelled further than London for a Saints away game I'm not quite sure of the best route to take for this one. Most likely travelling alone as my Southampton friends think M'brough is a ****hole and a touch too far away(I agree on the latter at the moment). So any ideas for travel would be great. Heading to Ireland through Liverpool on the Sunday or Monday after the game for 4-5 days so will only need travel up there. Obviously accomodation for Saturday night as well although Newcastle sounds like a place that sleeping might not be needed although I'll have a backpack with all my crap in it for the following week. Email is trevf_101@hotmail.com if anyone can help in anyway. Thanks in advance guys.

Hi Guys, I've been watching the darts from Oz for the last couple of years and like what I see. Have bought my own board etc. I'm over in the UK for 6 weeks which includes the darts in Bournemouth. Is anyone going? Has anyone been before and can offer some advice? Also I'll more than likely be going on my lonesome so where would be the best place to sit/stand. Cheers in advance!

Hi guys. It seems things have only improved since I wrote this, which is an incredible turnaround from where we were. The reason I've dug this up is that I've managed to get out of work for April to make it over for the last 6 games and calling on the Saints community for a bit of help. Palace, Reading and Coventry have been sorted thanks to amazing efforts from friends I've made previously. Was wondering how best I go about purchasing a ticket for the skates(preferable standing in Northam, but anywhere in the ground will do) as I wont be able to make it over until the 4th of April. Also keen on getting to the M'Boro and P'boro away games but first things first. Buzzing!

It has been argued in the past that the pen is mightier than the sword. Rickie Lambert has removed any doubt.
-
Sources close to Rickie have been told that if Southampton are awarded a penalty against the Skates he plans to take it from the opposite penalty spot. Not to challenge himself, simply to allow for more photo opportunities. Always thoughtful our Rickie. The Kenyan Athletic Association has revealed its groundbreaking new training strategy to prepare for this years London olympics. It has managed to acquire the services of SRL, the simple yet effective training method involves SRL taking a penalty through a netless goal which the distance team then chases after. Often the team can be in pursuit of the missile for days, the K.A.A is extremely confident the training method will lead to a clean sweep of all distance races in London.

Why not? How creative can we be. Death, taxes and Lambert from the spot. If you watch closely these days, when the referee awards Southampton a penalty he doesn't point to the penalty spot, he points to the center circle. Goalkeeping in the Championship 101: You don't save a Rickie Lambert penalty, you avoid it. I expect better from the rest of you, the best entry will be made into a colourful bumper sticker. What a legend!

Schneiderlin, Morgan Schneiderlin da-dada da da da da da Morgan Schneiderlin da da da Morgan Scheiderlin. Simple rolls off the tongue, has it been used for Connoly? Probably better served for Morgan.

Does anyone have a link to this part of the episode? We only get an hour of SoccerAM down in OZ and it didn't make it into the edited version.

Saints V Millwall FA Cup Replay Match Thread!

Up at 6am and still nothing from SaintsPlayer! Any other radio links available?? -
Who is the commentator?? Barely gets above a whisper when we come forward, but almost loses control of his bodily functions when the opposition are looking dangerous. Very quick to dismiss the Lambo penalty shout as well. Cun*t!
-
How can we have this commentator on SaintsPlayer? Gets so much more excited when the opposition team is attacking. Is it the same idiot that was arguing with fans that we hadn't 'technically been promoted' last season.
-
Change the word table with leagues..or league for next season.
-
Has to be to the tune of the Balotelli song! Quality chant and the names fit, we just need to come up with lyrics.. Here is my attempt: OOOOOOO Tadanari, he's a striker, he's kung-fu class, an appetite for whales and an arrow for the fans(his goal celebration?). He'll send us up the table while we're dancing in the stands! Tadanari
-
Seriously what is the deal with this commentator??? I didn't pay my money to listen to someone cheerlead for the opposition.
-
This is the winner hands down, 90 minutes of this would be great.

UPDATE UPDATE. Saints v Blackpool this Saturday night is live on Fox Sports. We(Melbourne Saints) will be watching it at http://thesherlockholmes.com.au/ Hope to see all of you there! They have a function until 11 or so they say, so don't try and head there until then. COYR's!!
-
No you will not!! I will pay this to not happen. If the above was a joke then never mind, carry on good sir.

Don't mind that Cork one. Surely swing low, sweet chariot should be the song for bald psycho. Loud and slow. Chaplowwww Richaaaaard Chaplowwww *insert last line (heading to the premier leagueee?). Seeing that we have moved on from the Rupert era by now, well most have.

Is there a song for Richard Chaplow? Surely swing low, sweet chariot would/should be it. Chaplowwww Richaaaaard Chaplowwww *insert last line (heading to the premier leagueee?)

F5 smashing somehow helped. I'm Dave listening now..

Someone please help. Got home 30 minutes ago and can not get my Saints Player working! Have deleted internet history, restarted my computer and I can not get it. So so so very frustrating!!! Any ideas? It's 1.45am and I'm dying to listen to the Saints but it's just not working, all I can see is that stop button next to our coverage and it can't be clicked.

Lambert v Pompey for sure. Was stood right next to their lot in the Northam, had seen a few goals from my first trip(4 in 7 games..) but nothing compared to the sheer unbridled excitement when that goal went in. I’ve tried to explain the feeling to others back home, but it’s almost an impossible task. I was definitely caught out for lack of derby experience though, as being sat at the end of the row I was trampled by the ‘running of the Saints’ towards the Pompey fans. That one moment made the $2500+ 7 day trip across the other side of the world worth it. Priceless.
