I don't know if we will stay up (I strongly suspect we will), and i've got no problem with people having differing opinions - it is those for whom everything is black and white, who get things hopelessly wrong and forget that prediction ever happened in their desperate scramble to spout the next pile of s***e that get me.

Delldays, perhaps you could elaborate on what you mean by "must win". I say this because I think people assume you mean "must win or we will be relegated". And then they think that you are an imbecile.

1) When Adkins was appointed there was an outcry from some about the sacking of Pardew who had turned the club around, had a thumping away win last time out, and was being replaced by a nobody. 2) Plenty of people whose opinion is worth listening to think we have got an excellent replacement. 3) If we are sat 8th in the Premier League this time next year, playing great football there will not be a single voice singing Nigel Adkins songs at St Mary's. 4) If you were one of the many many posters on countless threads pre christmas saying "That's it enough's enough, get this clown out and a Premier League quality manager in" and are now saying "this is a disgrace, how could they do this to our Nige" you are a ****. 5) I wish this hadn't happened. I wish Nigel was still in charge, and I am left feeling entirely empty, whilst fearing we may well be about to enter a tailspin of epic proportions.
