  1. Hmm pretty poor away from Aintree today..already had my say on Molly Mylenis and should have won the race on the course or in the stewards room, both of Johnstons ran shockingly today...and Largem came late in the last to just finish second at 10/1...better luck tomorrow me thinks Frankie
  2. Ade if you had followed me and Notnowcato, you would have had the forecast :-) Frankie
  3. Check the Aintree thread Ade, not bad day really, 5/2 and 16/1 winner and horses running well at big prices Frankie
  4. Unlucky with Black Jack mate Frankie
  5. Little review of my selections: 2.00 Bouggler ran poorly, as expected Big Bucks won well 2.35-massive price winner, Super Kenny ran poorly, but Al Qedaaff ran well to finish 5th at 80/1 and is worth keeping an eye on. 3.10-What a friend, jumped superbly, great ride from Ruby..WINNER 5/2 3.45-As I said in my writeup could go to a big price winner, and it did at 50/1, Nedzers was unseated, But Van Ness ran a good race to finish 4th at 50/1 4.20. Kilmackilloge fell early, Nikola plodded on but was never in a position to win. 4.55 Hey Big Spender fell, Mad Max won nicely but if Somersby had jumped better I am sure he would have won. 5.30 Benfleet Boy faded after leading early, but Sir Harry Ormesher won at 16/1 yeaaahh. WINNER 16/1 So not a bad first day with a winner at 5/2 and 16/1 Lets beat those bookies tomorrow guys. Frankie
  6. Absolute bloody joke, winner dragged it half way across the track in the final 500 yards, Molly would have easily...stewards enquiry and the result stands...stewards in this country are a joke at times Frankie
  7. Ahhh just spent ages typing out selection and computer crashes...so just giving selections here... Leicester 2.15Molly Mylenis. Taunton-Global Strategy, Recif De Thaix and Organiseteur in a small treble.. Wolverhampton. 6.50 Nave 7.50 Sir Frank Wappat 9.20 Largem Good luck today guys. Frankie
  8. Not particularly confident about any selections at Aintree today so going to keep to minimum stakes and avoid the favs if possible..good luck everyone. 2.00 If Big bucks gets round he wins, but horses often struggle after Cheltenham so you never know...I am going with Bouggler who was more fancied than Souffler and Kayf Aramis the last time in ran despite finishing behind both, I really like Emma Lavelle and she has put cheek pieces on him today, hopefully this will bring about some improvement from this consistent animal. Selection:Bouggler 2.35 Looks like another Nicholls/Walsh good thing here, but I really like the look of Super Kenny, he was very impressive on his only run and could be anything. One to keep an eye on at a very big price is D McCains Al Qeddaaf, he was beaten favourite last time but is well thought of, e may be worth having a few token pound for interest. Selection:Super Kenny 3.10 Despite being just 5 runners this looks a very tricky contest, there are question marks about all of the runners so I am having to go with the least exposed in What a Friend, his form in Ireland hasnt really held up that well, but he is a steady jumper. Selection:What a Friend 3.45 This could well go to a huge price animal, Baby Run was superb last time, but at such a skinny price in a 21 runner minefield, he's best left alone, previous winners Trust Fund and Christy Beamish will have their supporters, but I am going for Nedzers Return, trainer Gordon Elliot has won this previously and he knows the time of day, I will dutch this with a big price one in Van Ness who has been going well. Selection:Nedzers Return........Van Ness 4.20 Pigeon Island ran a great race at Cheltenham surprising even his followers, but he may struggle today...and basically i'm struggling to find anything too, so I am going to do Nikola as it is my missus' name...and Kilmackilloge, who has course and distance form, he is lightly raced for an 11 year old supposedly due to bursting blood vessels, but if he is ok he is not without a chance. Selections:Nikola(because of the missus) Kilmackilloge 4.55 Not many runners but good quality, I really like Somersby who is a super little horse, but I am going with a little value in Hey Big Spender, he was entered in a 3 mile race on Friday but goes for this instead, despite unseating last time he has been very consistent this year and could topple the Knight horse. Selection:Hey Big Spender 5.30 Well if you need a winner in this to save your day....good luck... I will going for Sir Harry Ormesher and Benfleet Boy :-) Good luck today all, lets get some winners Frankie
  9. Kings Song was awful, faded badly in the final furlong, so maybe not it's trip...would never have found the winner mind you. Frankie
  10. Had one winner, one non runner and the horse later being backed big time....... Internet connection been on and off today, real pain in the arse!! Still if your following my tips at the moment you can't be doing too badly Frankie
  11. Loads of racing today..not sure if i'll be able to keep my good running going but i'll give it a good go... Kempton 8.00 - I love Franco is my name, who has trotted up a good sequence of wins..Rowan Tiger is also going well, but I really fancy KINGS SONG. Michael Stoute is a super trainer and this horse looked like it would be very useful this year, my only concern is that Stoutes can often need the run, if thats the case then the fitness of Franco may count. 4.30 Lingfield - Parc Des Princes is trained by the under rated but also very in form trainer Andrew Balding, he has course and distance form and despite not running for 259 days you can be sure he will be fit to do himself justice. 3.50 Nottingham - Opinion Poll, Dettori only has three rides at Nottingham this afternoon before going to Kempton for the evening meeting, this looks by far his best chance of a winner, Opinion Poll won on good to soft ground on its last start and as long as the ground isnt too heavy ground shouldnt be a problem, he was running on well on his last start over 1mile 4, so 1 mile 6 today could prove to be his best trip. I also fancy Horsley Warrior, Billie Jean, Island Chief, Ella, Caol Ila, Ginger Grey, Red Amy and New World Order but there are question marks against each of these so will be keeping to very small stakes.. Good luck today Frankie
  12. Bloody hell, i'm even surprising myself... Staff Sergeant Won 7/1 Agglestone Rock won 9/4 well gambled.. Hope your following these tips guys, this run won't last :-) Frankie
  13. Very difficult racing today with nothing much standing out...although I do think that Mark Johnston could have a good day at both Ffos Las and Southwell. If I had to choose one of his for a bit of value I would go with Staff Sergeant in the 2.40 Southwell, beaten favourite last time and hasnt run for 139 days, so possibly something was amiss that day, if ok i'm sure he will run very well. The only other one that interests me is at Wetherby 3.55 Agglestone Rock - He has been in great form this season and recently ran well on the flat, he has a decent jockey and in a tricky little race should be there or thereabouts.. Good luck Frankie
  14. Not bad tipping here guys...3 winners...Sir Louis 3/1...Lisadell King 15/8....Dandino2/1 Not gonna make you rich but not bad Frankie
  15. Loads of racing today, but just a few fancies for me...posting early as of to the game in a minute.. Redcar 5.30-Sir Louis...makes his handicap debut and with Fahey in great form could be a good bet in a weak looking race. Huntingdon 3.20-Southampton...After finishing down the field in Ireland he then followed up with a superb run (finished second and had him at 125/1 on betfair), he then picked up an injury when 7th and fancied, if he has got over that injury he could run well. Fakenham 2.40-I love these hunter chases, often give a good price for decent animals...i'm going for Lisadell king in this who was an unlucky beaten fav last time out and has a decent jockey for this type of race.. Dandino in the 4.20 at Redcar was one I had in my notebook after finishing second in its last race and given a quiet ride...but its not much of a price... Irish National looks hard but i'm having a few quid on Hangover, he beat alot of these previously in a valuable race and was staying on over 3miles Good luck all, come on you Saints Frankie
  16. Glad about my selection but should have tipped Farmer Frank too...did it myself...aftertiming, terrible Frankie
  17. Big bet today 5.20 Musselburgh Esuvia Will surely be a class above these in the finale...fill your boots Frankie
  18. 24/7 i do 25/8 Louie Spence
  19. Guys heres something that might interest some of you...taken from the Betfair forum... its horses to follow for the forthcoming flat season, i've stuck them on horsealerts, which is a free service at easyodds.com. emails you when a horse is going to run so you dont miss it...hope its of some interest.. Flat season horses to follow that I think will prove to be profitable when conditions are in their favour. They will mostly contest the races I specialise betting in, better class handicaps, listed & group 3 races. They are all promising horses, mostly 3 year olds with scope who will grow & strengthen becoming stronger & faster: Acrostic At Wits End Banana Republic Beauchamp Yorker Bernie The Bolt Big Sur Cape Quarter Caucus Centurio Champagnelifestyle Commissionaire Cook's Endeavour Cygnet Doctor Zhivago Esaar Escape Artist Esuvia Fair Trade Fantastic Cuix Forte Dei Marmi Hajjaan Jedi King's Song Layla's Dancer Man Of Action Mawzoon Ming Master Mistoffelees Mont Agel Mr Irons Mufarrh Munsarim Official Style Oriental Scot Our Joe Mac Ouster Pekan Star Prince Of Dreams Principal Role Rumoush Saddlers Lodge Ship's Biscuit Sweet Secret Top Tigress Treble Jig Vitznau Wigmore Hall Xilerator Zaahy Saintfrankie

  21. I agree, it was sh**e, the advertising of 8 bars made it sound like there would be no queues...wrong Ex players...nowhere to be seen Music was to loud and the DJ seemed clueless, played some really **** music and not enough variety. As others have said wasnt open at advertised time. And the worse crime was that you couldnt get a phone signal in there meaning going outside to try to arrange to meet others that didnt have their tickets.. Still a bloody magic day though Frankie
